I came to write a 5* review and was very surprised to read some of the 'recent' ones with low ratings....especially one by "Amar" who describes a restaurant experience which isn't this place!! We have had several takeaways from here and every one has been great. I usually collect on the way back from work so when I ordered our last one on sunday night online I accidentally left "collection" on the online order. When I called after an hour and we still hadn't received it, the girl explained what had happened and it needed collecting, i was gutted driving up there imagining what the food would be like after this time had passed. We had just got back from holiday and were so looking forward to it! When I got to Rice bowl, the lady in the kitchen popped her head out and offered to redo the chips and also the crispy beef because they would be poor quality now. I really appreciated half our takeaway being redone and still offered to do more, apologised that obviously they could not reheat rice for us etc. They completely redid the 2 dishes mentioned for free although it was MY mistake and I thought that was extremely kind and i really appreciate it. Definitely the best Chinese takeaway in Cov! I'm from kent and well traveled, apparently Chinese takeaway really varies across the UK and we have struggled finding a good one now we're settled here. This is IT!! :D

Best chicken korma we have had in a very long time. Rich and creamy sauce, with lots of chicken. We had mushroom rice with it, this was also very good lots of mushrooms with light and fluffy rice. We had plain naan’s and they were nice too. We had it as a take away and by the time we got home it was still piping hot. Would recommend this to anyone.

Firstly the food and specifically samosas are great and authentic. So why won't I be going back there? I have been visiting this establishment since they opened, I think over 10 years and I've had just about enough of the customer service here. The Punjabi owner (guy with turban and beard) is just plain rude since I first went there. I am Asian myself and speak the language, so it's not crossed wires. when you purchase anything he holds onto the bag and wont let go until the money is in his hand, like you are going to run off with his samosas. He knows I am a regular customer for 10 years but still does this and it's always irritated me, nowhere have i been that does this, let alone somewhere I have been going the last 10 years. He is always grumpy and last time I went he basically started to nearly shout at me and tried to embarrass me in front of other customers looking at them and shaking his head. All because I had asked for 2 separate orders over the phone and told them I would pay for them individually, this was pre-booked and explained over the phone before I arrived. I also asked if this was okay and the lady said of course. I gave him what for and then he smiled as he knew he had over stepped the mark with me. I have vowed to my family that I will not go back and would write a review as this is not a one off. Rude behaviour and a bad attitude to people is not the Sikhi way. You can look pious and religious but if you are not a good human being and rude to your fellow man and customers, what's the point? The other staff I have been served by seem to fine, but to the owner I'm afraid you have lost any business from me or my family. I go to Punjabi foods or Standard Sweet Centre instead now.

If you want to taste real Jamaican food then this is your place, we travel form Nuneaton boarder Leicestershire for this food because nowhere else is the same. Everything on the menu is a must try. My favourite thought the soup mmm mmm mm. Thank-you from a customer who been coming since you opened. Only thing I would advise is get your order in as they sell the soup real fast . The curry is also a must try . Anjai and Jason.

What an odd place. We were invited to an afternoon friends-and-family get together and even when we left we weren't sure if the place was aiming to be a restaurant, a dance hall, a wedding venue, a working men's club or a pub. From the outside, the building looks like a decomissioned health centre: flat roof, flaking paint on the fascia boards, municipal-style car parking to the side and rear. Inside, there's a small sit down area from which you can see into the kitchen and food prep area. Leading off from that is a large room which could be where wedding receptions are held and beyond that is a bar with pool table. A finger buffet had been provided so it wouldn't be fair to judge the food on this single provision. What we had was OK but there was no attempt to keep food (e.g. samosas) hot. Perhaps other visitors can elaborate further on the food side of things. We didn't see much of the staff so again can't judge this aspect of the enterprise. For the reasons above - and to be fair to them - I've given King's a cautious 4 out of 5.
