The best restaurants in West Midlands

Used Golden Fish a few times now and they have been consistently awesome. Food is yummy, good value and always delivered piping hot, even at peak times. Highly rated!!!

I walked past this cafe today. It's permanently closed.

Not very happy with this takeaway. Went into the place and placed my order. Firstly the order was taken wrong and they also gave us the wrong sauce. We only realised all this when we got home to sit down and eat. Our chicken balls we’re soggy, one bite and it was thrown into the bin. I then had to ring up pay extra for a chicken chow mein (which they didn’t take in the first place) and also tell them that they gave us the wrong sauce. Fair enough they didn’t charge us for the delivery fee which I don’t mind paying either way but they did this out of a nice way to apologise for the wrong order. When we received the order again there was no chicken in the chow mein. We rang up and complained about the unhappy service and that it was wrong AGAIN. We wanted to see if there was a way to complain or speak to someone about this but they were not happy and saying to us that it’s our fault and we were the ones confusing them. I don’t know how we could confuse them regarding the order. 1 plain chicken chow mein no onions just the noodles and chicken 1 normal chicken chow mein 1 portion of chicken balls 2 sweet and sour sauces 1 portion of chips It’s such a shame as I really liked this Chinese but the way it was all handled and customer service wasn’t great. Working in customer service we should never be spoken to in that way.

Really nice food staff are great really friendly a place we're u feel welcome great place would defo be back all the staff chat to you which is great best breakfast in the town sassages are so tasty an always comes out hot evan the other food is great like there burger an chips an sassage sandwiches defo be back very clean an tidy

Super local Chinese takeaway & food here is absolutely great. There's a vegetarian 'chicken' option (See #183) which can be substituted in other dishes to special order expanding the number of vegetarian options available. Staff are very friendly & helpful. It can get VERY busy on Fri/Sat evening with takeaway orders so always best to phone through rather than ordering onsite. Probably the best Chinese takeaway in Warwick! 👍

Visited whilst on a walk, quiet on a Saturday afternoon, a few locals in. No food on offer, beer OK.

Ive only been here 3 times, but the guiness is loveley, the canal side outside is smashing, the folks are all good and ive never tried the dartboard as i was enjoying my guiness to much, simple fact , lovely pub, never tried the food so shall give it a middle rating, great lady behind the bar and her hubbies belly i think as drunk the profitt....HOW MANY KEBABS YOU HAD...all the tesco pies have dissappeared.......sack him before he eats rugeley....this guy puts rolls in his breakfast, with kebab meat, a tub of mayonaisse, 24 lb of grilled beef, 42lb left over chickens and a pike if its going on the canal side....he!....he!.....the pub is wonderful and the drink is a good proper price, cannot pop at the big guy to much, he might eat me

You walk in and you can instantly smell the unhealthy, greasy, smoky air in there. It was disgusting. This place needs extractors desperately and I wonder if the local council can be contacted to see whether the air in this café is indeed a danger to human health? Had I not arranged to meet a friend there, I would have walked straight back out. An unhealthy place to eat and breath in. Avoid. Don't be persuaded to visit because of the pretty roses painted on the windows. The food was very poor quality, but typical for the greasy-spoon that this place is. I won't be going again. There are nicer places to sit and eat in, in Boldmere and I would suggest people do that instead, until they can sort their unhealthy air out. 💀😷 The worst place to eat in, in Boldmere. Avoid.

One of the best pubs in Burslem always a good range of beers , staff friendly, and ales priced well for the area , most weekends they have entertainment on , well worth a visit if your in or around the area

Abrupt staff on check in , Very dated room decir very used ,broken plug socket in room ,shower head loose would not stay up and water temperature very hard to control and radiator on room didn,t work during the night making the room very cold , would not recomend a stay here ☹️☹️
