We ordered from here for the first time this evening and every single dish was cooked to perfection. We’ll definitely be ordering again.

Andrew bakes the Staffordshire Oatcakes for sale at the cafe and offers a variety of plentiful fillings to ensure a tasty all day treat to eat at the cafe or to take away. Great staff service, freshly ground coffees and local cakes all at a very reasonable price. Well worth a visit.

Always a pleasant watering hole but recent revamp has made it even more attractive with a good menu and great beers. Sadly not quite so dog-friendly as before with owners being required to use the 'boot room' or eat outside.

Such a pretty location, and today was beautiful with plenty of people around. The gift and coffee shop was doing a great trade. They have nice coffee and cake along with canal based gifts. Very friendly owner. The locks here look like hard work as there’s so many of them in a row. A great little place to visit

Ordered 2 philli cheesesteak bundles, missing 1 milkshake and both steak sandwiches had a horrible aftertaste in the sauce, literally couldn’t eat them. To top it off the chips weren’t even cooked. Biggest waste of £35 I’ve ever spent.

We ordered buss up shot, dhalpuri and pholourie for my Guyanese Mum’s 90th party. Many guests were Guyanese and we all loved the food. So so refreshing to know that we do not have to go to London any more to get Guyanese/Trini food !!

Fantastic food, atmosphere & service. Good prices & beer choices, really enjoyed our visit. We have a medium and spicy dish and both didn’t disappoint. Possibly the best Thai food I’ve ever had.

Visited here after a while. I was shocked. The owner was a lady who I had paid for dog walking whilst lockdown was happening, even worse she had been claiming furlough and leaving her cafe closed and getting paid for dog walking. I don't think this is very ethical. Thankfully I wasn't reconised however service was slow and the menu full of very unhealthy things and the tables far too close together for COVID. Will not return.

I ordered Platter for two people and it was the worst order I have ever had! The lamb chops were like rubber, tasteless and not cooked well ( You should mention to the barbecue guy to grill the food slowly and try to leave the chops take time in the sauce and spices at least one day before selling them ). I throw the wings in rubbish as they look burnt ( PLEASE DO NOT USE AIR MACHINE TO GRILL THE FOOD FAST!!!! LET THE FIRE GRILLS IT SLOWLY ) Lamb Tikka was good while the shawarma needed more spices. Please mention to your staff to follow the customer's notes as I asked for more grilled tomatoes and they didn't send them. I hope the manager will listen to these notes and ask the staff to follow them. ( Customer feedback is the way to improve your skills and be at the top )

Good service, friendly staff. Smoked bacon which is unusual but tasty. Eggs poached as standard however they are overcooked unfortunately. Teapigs tea served which is very nice. Cakes look amazing although I didn’t try them.

We have eaten here numerous times now . Not once have we ever been disappointed with the food . Everything we have ever ordered has been cooked prefect. It is very rare we manage to eat all of the food as there’s always so much 🤣. We have 2 children who also love their children’s meals. Without a doubt one of the best local bar and grills around . Thanks again for amazing food .
