We visited La Terasa before going to watch a film at the cinema and I really enjoyed our visit. The food was amazing! I have never tried Romanian food before and the mici was a great introduction to it! It came with chips and mustard. I usually don't really like mustard at all but I tried a bit of the mici with it and I was surprised how well they went together. Needless to say, I have now warmed up to mustard because of how delicious it was with the mici so I would definitely recommend! The owner was also really accommodating and welcoming when we arrived. He was also really honest when my boyfriend tried to order the lamb pastrami and he said it wasn't quite done marinating yet so the taste wouldn't be the same. Instead my boyfriend ordered the chicken wings which he really enjoyed! The prices were really good for how amazing the food was so the value is really great here. It was quite quiet when we visited which was a shame because I think that this place deserves more attention so definitely give this place a try if you want to try some Romanian cuisine for an amazing value. We will definitely be returning the next time we're in Worcester!

My favourite restaurant in Worcester by far! The staff are always friendly and accommodating, the food is consistently top quality and tastes amazing, I'd particularly recommend the pork belly and papanași. The building and terrace are super pretty too. The staff speak both Romanian and English and they have English menus too. I've been for dates, with friends and family, and it's always my favourite.

Booked in two nights before to ensure we got a table. Got there at 7.55 for an 8 o'clock booking just awine and tap water Romanian family in which gave us confidence that the food would be authentic Order given at 8.10 Romanian family leave just us in the restaurant just us in now plus a party of four upstairs. My wife asked were the food was at 8.45 it arrived and what a joke it was Waiter/owner said they had only one grill working so because one order was fish and the other was chicken had to clean it down before cooking? He then went on to say why bother doing fresh fries when frozen shop bought are quicker and cheaper. The presentation was disgraceful my fish still had the head hanging on and the chicken dish was hidden by salad and shop bought fries. The wine was nice!!!!!!

My favourite place in Worcester. Absolutely amazing food! I love coming back here for the taste and fun atmosphere. Prices are amazing as well I have to add! Have never been disappointed and I know I won’t be. Pork neck and Pork skewers are my favourites. Don’t get me started on wine and the cherry liqueur! And no I am not Romanian I just love the food.

I'd never tried Romanian cooking so I cannot speak absolutely to authenticity but it certainly seemed spot-on and a lovely blend of Greek, Turkish with a spot of Hungarian thrown in. As I was alone, I could only try two dishes but if the rest of the menu is as good as the aubergine salad (think chunky babaganoush) and the beautiful, herby Mici sausages then I cannot rate the food at La Teresa highly enough. And it is remarkably inexpensive. One note of caution for some diners - the interior is VERY much a central European small restaurant so if you are looking for a bit of glam then this isn't the place. But if I lived in Worcester I'd be back there every week.

We were recommended this place by some friends. We booked on a Friday night. When we arrived it seemed quiet we chose to sit on the decking out the back as it was warm. We looked over the menu and chose a chicken dish. We chose some of the Romanian beer which was lovely. Our food arrived fairly quickly. The tastes were good. Really nice food. But when get got up to leave, The place was empty. Such a shame as the food was really great. I hope this place stays open as it’s really well priced. Just over £32 for 2 meals and 4 drinks. I hope word gets around as it’s a hidden gem

A lovely experience and great value. It's refreshing to go to a restaurant in Worcester where the cuisine is authentic. (I've been to Bucharest) The staff were all very pleasant and attentive. The restaurant had plenty of Romanian guests which is usually a good sign of a quality/authenticity. If you are unfamiliar with food from this part of the world. Expect meat and chips with lovely bread and dips. We also had a very good bottle of red wine. And for once I got the bill and was the right kind of surprised. Loved the whole experience.

Didn't even realise this restaurant had opened as I walked past it. Had to go in an try something. Nice decor, clean and bright surroundings and klezma music playing away. I went for the 'mici' - kind of like spicy, slightly sweet Romanian shikh kebabs, served with fries, pickles and bread. What can I say other than superb! The meat was fresh, of good quality and perfectly flavoured, with some beautifully soft grilled bread, the kind you get from Turkish/Kurdish places. A very large meal with a diet coke was only £8.50 which represents great value. The lad who severed me was friendly and we had a good chat about Romanian cuisine. Will be back VERY soon

Having been to Romania back in 2017 and absolutely loving it, we were really excited to see this restaurant open. We weren’t disappointed! We both had the Mici with a side of polenta and a salad to share, with a drink - and it came to less than £20! The food was great, as was the atmosphere and the service - it’s authentically Romanian (although the service isn’t quite as abrupt as it is in Bucharest). The host made us feel very welcome. We will be back with some friends to take on the Carpathian Mix.

At this restaurant you can have amazing grilled food, always fresh ingredients and friendly staff. It is also a good value for money venue as a dinner for two, including drinks does not exceed £20. Highly recommend this place for all types of parties or dinners.

This place is by far Worcester’s best coffee shop / brunch place. I have been here twice this month, once with work and then with family. During both visits I have experienced great service and high quality food that is not only aesthetically pleasing but really tasty also. In addition to this I couldn’t believe how quick the food came when this place was close to full. Great selection on the menu and reasonably priced!

Complained once over missing food and they wasn’t having any of it ! Didn’t received a receipt either. The man on the phone told a loyal customer who spends well over 70 pounds each time I was wrong ! To then be told that we’d have to wait an additional 30 mins for the missing food. Absolutely disgusting definitely will not be coming back! Would rather take my money else where. He repeated the order back to me over the phone and still told me I was wrong.

What can I say about this fantastic bar that hasn't already been said in the other reviews!? Only that for me this place is a real destination spot, an exciting trip out and always somewhere I suggest when meeting friends. I think about it in advance, remembering how much I enjoyed my previous visit. Seriously, this place is that good! The array of choice is unbelievable, with table menus displaying details of these unusual Belgian beauties. It's a fine dining experience (but with drinks), and I always discover a new one that blows my mind, by how delicious it tastes. This time it was a 13% brew on draught. I've never tasted anything quite like that in my life. Obviously these are served in the appropriate sized matching glasses. I wish I knew the name of it but it was the last one of the night! 😂 Bar staff are always friendly and knowledgable if you have have any questions about the beers, there is a real love here for what they do. The atmosphere is spot on (usually) chilled out, people chatting, enjoying themselves, unintrusive music playing in the background, great decor, subtle. Everything for me feels right, feels authentic and is as it should be. - However, after arriving on Friday evening and one drink in came on the Live music which was a complete opposite of what makes this place so fantastic. This is the reason for my 4 star review and not the 5 stars it truly deserves. The band played Oasis covers, Backstreet boys, and other Dad/Mum rock, it was virtually impossible to chat any longer, due to the volume, but we somehow managed to do this. After a few songs in the singer of the band ridiculed us for not joining in with his dated abhorent racket. It was a bit aggressive and uncalled for really, we didn't mean to hurt his feelings by not clapping, we just weren't into it, and it was forced upon us. I don't think many people were into it really. I listen to everything from Classical music to Black Metal, and of course I listened to Oasis in 2000s. I love music, but this was bad! It felt like a football hooligans party and we had somehow been caught up in the middle of it. I know this sort of thing is still popular in some places, but it was like being in a tacky karoke bar. We could take no more, we were torn, but had to leave. What a relief to get away from that place (with that music playing!) I was surprised to be honest that Tripleb would have booked someone like that as it's not really in keeping with the bar itself, and made it feel like any old crappy Worcester bar while Oasis was being wailed from the speakers. Bah! We did however, return to the bar (because it is so great!) and the hoped the band had finished. Last song. Hurrah! I appologise for my long review, but I had a lot to say as the band did invade our planned evening. In future I will keep an eye out for bands playing and see if it's something I would like. I will be back! Cheers Duncan
