The best restaurants in West Midlands

I have ordered from izys a few times and after numerous times of tasting there authentic Romanian food I thought I should give them some positive feedback on how well they do there food. Delicious, fresh meat, the chips are amazing and all I can say is yummy!!! I will definitely be ordering again and again.

We have literally just lefty Vin X! Absolutely amazing afternoon! Great food, great wine, great atmosphere & even better service’ we will 100% be back! Staying at the loft tonight too!

Customer service is amazing. The owner is so kind and polite. Apple crumble is addictive! 100% recommend :)

Friendly staff, fabulous tasty homemade food with huge variety of options (including vegetarian), buffet services, great value for money and can’t be faulted.

Absolutely terrible and over priced I think I saw a rat too.

I make an effort to drive into Coventry every time to have their braised beef and rice dish. It tastes exactly like a grandparents home cooking filled with passion and love, super tender and the owner/workers are always so friendly. This is a hidden gem that we must preserve, thank you for the delicious food. If I'm going on the M6 I always have to make a stop into Coventry just to get a takeaway. 10/10

Popped in to pound bakery to grab some sausage rolls, cobs and a pasty. I was served quickly and with a smile. The atmosphere in the shop was good and the staff are friendly and welcoming.

BIG MALAKAS. Ordered on Uber eats Sunday, won’t be ordering again. We’ve had big malakas a few times now, first time at a friends wedding and it was great, second time it wasn’t amazing but still good! But this time round it was inedible, such a shame cause it’s the only place that does vegan kebabs in this area that I don’t have to make myself. The order took an hour and half to be made, was cold when it got here. Which were more than happy to hear food up, that’s fine, so we did, and when we unboxed it, the whole thing was dripping in grease, now we are aware of you order a kebab, and chips it’s going to be cooked in grease- but the now cold bread, was soggy with oil. Really off putting, we headed it up anyway, took a bite and it was horrendous. The thing was dripping, from the paper, out of the kebab….into the bowl, full of oil. I’ve never seen anything like it. One bit of tomato, like 4 chips in the kebab, no sauce, and half cooked “meat”. we ordered a side of chips on the side and there was less than a hand full of chips in the bags. For £36 you’d think you could get a properly cooked kebab? To add to that ….before I decided to do a review, I messaged them directly to sort it out and just give them feed back. They saw my message instantly after it was sent, ignored me. Hours later I sent another just to say I’m happy to wait if they were busy but i do want to get this sorted. And again, saw the message and ignored me. So unfortunately I’ve had to take this approach. I wouldn’t bother ordering from this place, disapointing. I would have been forgiving if it was just a just a slip up and they’d replied but just to ignore my messages is abit rude, luckily I took Photos and have sent Uber the photos and they’ve given me a full refund because of how bad the order was! Also wierd name….. translated back to English as “big w*nker” …… very strange.

One of the nicest veggie breakfasts I’ve ever had. Great value and the food was delicious! Lovely coffee and hot chocolate. Staff were welcoming and polite and service was quick. Lovely atmosphere on a busy Saturday morning!

Placed an order, was excited to eat as love seasoned doner. But was cancelled when i called the guy did not really seem interested. Ordered pepes instead.

This place is temporarily changed into a shop/takeaway but honestly, the food is so great it should become a restaurant again, absolutely wonderful food!

3 of us came in for lunch on day trip to the NMAand after doing the land train we came in for lunch and we were very pleased with the food and service
