Popped in to pound bakery to grab some sausage rolls, cobs and a pasty. I was served quickly and with a smile. The atmosphere in the shop was good and the staff are friendly and welcoming.

Love the food from here. Prices are absolutely amazing as they beat any other style of place hands down. The sausage rolls and cheese and onion rolls are the best followed closely by the pasties

It does what it says in the name - provide food for a pound. Have used both this and the Doncaster branch for a quick cheap snack. Cheaper than Gr??gs but not too much difference. Worth a try.

Un buen hueco grande salchicha fresca cuando usted necesita uno a un precio muy competitivo con respecto a sus competidores.

Been here a couple of times and had the Chicken salad. I was pleasantly surprise how good it tasted. Went for deal which was a can of pop and crisp or cake for £2. A bargain compared to the others where you would have paid about £4. You could but the sandwich which generally is a £1. There are breakfast foods and other sandwiches reasonable prices, will give them a go next time. Service was no hassle, depending when you go.

This place is really convenient for getting something quickly and fresh. Any pastry is recommended or the doughnuts as well.

I went here a few times when I was working from our Wolverhampton office, but normally go to the Walsall store for convenience. Both are equally as good as each other. I love the ham salad baguettes but have opted for the ham salad wrap before now, and tried the ham salad bap once too. All are £1 each, add a packet of crisps and its £1.50, add a can of pop too and it's £2 for a meal deal. Excellent value for lunch on the go and on a budget. Quality is great too. I have also tried the sausage rolls before and the steak bakes- 80p each or 2 for £1, which are also lovely, but have tried the cakes too, again they vary between two and four in a pack for £1, and again, like everything else I can't fault them! Well worth a visit.
