Great little cafe accessible from the canal. Fabulous cakes and lots of gifts and useful maps and information for boaters.

Such a pretty location, and today was beautiful with plenty of people around. The gift and coffee shop was doing a great trade. They have nice coffee and cake along with canal based gifts. Very friendly owner. The locks here look like hard work as there’s so many of them in a row. A great little place to visit

The most helpful people ever. Our dog had hurt one of its claws on our narrow boat cruise. Concern ventured into requiring a vet appointment for our little fur baby. My wife and Mum walked into the shop to find out taxi information etc... Brian very kindly offered to take both of them to Warwick to see the vet. Outstandingly wonderful gesture. People like this do not come about often. Should you be in the Lapworth lock flight, pop in! Fantastic array of food and drink available. Plus the most helpful and wonderful people you can come across

We enjoyed a very warm and friendly welcome when we visited this small café & shop. It was ideally located close to the Kingswood Junction that joins the Stratford Canal and the Grand Union Canal. The lovely canal side location, with outside seating that overlooks the lock, offered a welcome break on our walk. The café and shop is operated by very friendly staff; their hot & cold drinks, and wonderful array of fresh cakes are all very well priced. The only negative I can think of for this wonderful café, is that we needed to walk 6 miles back along the canal path, simply to burn off the calories we took on board from the huge chunk of delicious Rocky Road Chocolate Cake we ate here :-) But we enjoy walking, so we’ll certainly be back again soon. Well done, and thank you.

Good place to watch the boats come up and down the tiring flight of locks, or walk up it yourself a lot quicker.

I do not know the local shop. So cannot judge that. However I ordered twice online and they delivered quick and good. Also the communication is good. Price are also OK.

What a stunning gem right in the centre of Warwick. Our first stay in the hotel, but definitely not last. Absolutely stunning decor outside and inside. Nicely decorated, spacious room with super comfy bed. Plenty of storage including wardrobe, chest of drawers and stunning little vanity table ♥ Room was ready early for us which was great because we needed to get ready for an event at the racecourse. Room has everything we needed. Coffee machine, both sparking and still water, toiletries and towels in the bathroom. Every little detail was sorted. Car park is short walk from the hotel, hotel providing the pass free of charge. You can also stay for about 2 hours outside the hotel, which giving you plenty of time to unpack etc. Location is also perfect for the racecourse and castle, walking distance to the city centre pubs and restaurants. Perfect spot for everything. There's beautiful pub downstairs with great selection of food and drinks, beautiful beer garden as well. Breakfast was lovely and very generous, choice of cooked and continental breakfast, yogurts, fruits juices. Great selection. Overall we had a great stay and we will be coming back every time we're in Warwick.

Wow Best Roast we ever had , we had the trio of roasts for two . Lamb was beautiful flavour and texture , beef gorgeous and chicken tasty . Ice cream soft scoop the best tasting . One of the bests roast we had and we eat a lot in London , Birmingham and the Cotswolds . We only tried as our regular when in the area was full but what a great thing to have happened ! Highly recommended silly not to have the experience if possible . Great service from Charlotte and Stacy.
