The best restaurants in Wiltshire South West

Since being on maternity leave, I’ve regularly popped into Henry’s after walking into town. The cafe is always clean and friendly and the hot chocolate is FANTASTIC! The staff always make sure there is enough room for my pram and help me manoeuvre if tables are busy. It’s a real gem! Definitely my favourite place to visit in Melksham.

Ate lunch which was delicious. Thai spicy soup was thick and just the right side of spicy. Small salad was generous, fresh and varied. Will definitely eat here again.

A very pleasant restaurant, fresh decor and variety of seating areas. The warm toasted ciabatta of roasted vegetables and goats cheese was fresh and extremely tasty. The ciabatta was served with a small side salad of green leaves . The staff efficient and friendly, a relaxing atmosphere for lunch.

The food here is awesome better then any cafe and restaurant you find in the city. Such a friendly atmosphere it's lovely, wish all eateries were like this.

Visited today and had the most amazing time it was my partners birthday and we came in for a quick breakfast with our 6 month old. Such a fantastic atmosphere the staff are beyond amazing and will now be sharing anything to do with the quench cafe!! Family friendly and the food is excellent. recommend the omelette and the *Birthday cake many thanks!!

Really lovely place for some craft beers. Meet friends, staff are really friendly and knowledgable about the beers and local gins, if you don’t know what you want to order the staff take the time to find out what you like and pair a beer / gin to your taste, not failed us yet! We love this place it’s a little gem in the heart of Calne. Had limited opening hours so check it out before you go.

On arrival (and departure) the car park had several loads of dog mess in it and when we tried to enter the pub at the front door that was marked 'ENTRANCE' it was shut and locked. This was at 12.07 and the pub was advertised as opening at 12.00 midday. Eventually a woman (the cleaner or a member of the bar staff?) opened the door. The way to the bar was blocked by two large dogs. A second women (the landlady?) then appeared with bare feet but neither attempted to move the dogs to enable us to reach the bar. I informed the landlady that there was a lot of dog mess in the car park and she responded by saying "I haven't been out there this morning." I could only see one draft larger so I asked for a pint accordingly but apparently the pump wasn't working. With that we walked out.

Lovely cafe, really quirky decor, had a lovely coffee and cake break. Glad I went in, don't normally stop in cafes. Lovely gent served us

We had hot chocolate and some cake after exercise class. Tasted lovely, served carefully and all very tasty. Just what we needed.

Food was ok but the que to get in was to long. The staff there were so slow and was more interested on chatting and checking there phones

Extremely well priced, good quality (delivered hot) and always delivered fast and within the specified time frame. Can't fault at all

We were walking past here and popped in for a coffee and perhaps a bite to eat. What a lovely find. A lovely friendly welcome, a great cup of coffee and a lovely sandwich. The place was spotless. However, as always for us, the people are the biggest part of the experience and the team here were just lovely. Will absolutely go back there again

Me and my partner recently moved to westbury in the last month and have already been back twice! Delicious food always delivered quick or picked up quickly. Staff friendly and welcoming when collecting food would definitely reccomend!! ☺️

Cracking wee noodle place, highly recommended. Popped in whilst away with work, had some noodle soup, dumplings and ribs. Very tasty, very fresh and great value. Also very quick and friendly service. Will be back when in the area
