Ate lunch which was delicious. Thai spicy soup was thick and just the right side of spicy. Small salad was generous, fresh and varied. Will definitely eat here again.

My Son and I called-in here to get some takeaway snacks for our lunch, settling on sandwiches. We had splashed about on the web and this place was highly recommended by TA and other review sites. Having lived in Corsham for a while, a few years back, I knew approximately where the this place was located; even-though this business was not in operation back then. The location is on the edge of the pedestrianised area; a popular place for restaurateurs and their customers. The café frontage is narrow, but the depth is sufficient for a modest number of tables. As I say we were after a takeaway, so we walked straight down through the restaurant to the servery, at the back of the café, and placed our order. My Son chose a Chicken sandwich on sourdough, whereas I decided on a Toasted Salt Beef sandwich … I haven’t had salt beef in a long while. Both sandwiches were accompanied by a leaf salad and a pot of slaw, they were freshly prepared (and mine cooked). They were then and placed in individual cardboard boxes and then in a paper carry-bag. Also provided were substantial paper napkins. My warm sandwich was really excellent; lovely rich tastes from the generous filling of salt beef and great textures from the gherkins and the toasted sourdough. My Son also enjoyed his chicken sandwich, again a tasty and generous filling with great fresh ingredients. Compared with supermarket or filling-station fare these sandwiches were considerably more expensive, but then they were such great quality, and genuinely stacked with fillings. It makes me wonder who the filling-station sandwich-makers feel they are fooling with their wedge-shaped arrangement of fillings; certainly not me! My £15.90 bought two really fab sandwiches here. I would (and will) buy again when in the Corsham area at lunchtimes. Service was excellent and the staff went that extra mile to tell us what was included in the boxes. Thank you for making our takeaway lunch so special.

Walked in, sat down. A bit noisy with the kiddy behind me banging on the table with his spoon . Waitress walked by several times, paying me no attention. Eventually the lady in the kitchen noticed me and told me I should order at the counter at the back of the room. All good after that. Nice espresso, nice flapjacky thing. Kiddy with spoon was quite cute really. The place is situated in a very pleasant pedestrian street in the centre of the town. Not sure if you can sit outside, it was raining on our visit

Website showed great promise. Kerbside appeal good, car parking good, service very good ( very helpful and friendly). Strange layout inside as its old building, dining room has no bar. Garden not used to its full potential, only very old tired play equipment for children. Food reasonable, 2 out of 3 meals okay. Third meal of chicken disappointing, either poor quality meat or overcooked or possibly both !!!!! Empty on a nice sunny lunchtime !!! Sorry but would not rush back.

Stopped on a trip from Cinderford to Romsey , have driven past many times but never had time to stop, husband and son had ‘small ‘ breakfast and I had toast and jam, the breakfast was a great size, quickly served and tasted great, really good value for money . Toilets and rest of premises are really clean and can’t wait to visit again

It’s the first time for years that I’ve been for a meal at The Agra. It was always good previously but I was blown away by the experience tonight. The staff were attentive but not intrusive and the decor had been updated and was elegant. The food was absolutely delicious. I had sweet chilli chicken with rice which was wonderful. I was in a group of 4 adults and a child and we all chose a different main course after sharing a selection of starters. Each dish was amazing and only my grandson could manage a dessert. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will look forward to going back.

Not just the best chips in Trowbridge. Possibly the best chips anywhere. And the portions are huge!!
