Stopped on a trip from Cinderford to Romsey , have driven past many times but never had time to stop, husband and son had ‘small ‘ breakfast and I had toast and jam, the breakfast was a great size, quickly served and tasted great, really good value for money . Toilets and rest of premises are really clean and can’t wait to visit again

The breakfast at Choppers Cafe was really well priced, a generous portion, hot and tasty. The service was great and cafe itself is clean and tidy. What more can you possibly want.

This is a regular stop for us , been coming here for several years. The bacon rolls are great value and a mug of tea is a must. Everyone here is friendly and obliging, occasionally treat ourselves to a bigger breakfast if we have time - it is plentiful !!

We stopped here for lunch - me, my husband and my 1 year old and 3 year old. The kids thought it was a fun adventure as there’s a field to explore beyond the cafe. great way for them to stretch their legs and build the holiday excitement en route to Bournemouth. Really friendly owner too. Thank you for letting us stop by 😊 very much recommend this place. The toilets were mega clean - they allow anyone to use them so I didn’t expect much in terms of cleanliness (not in a negative way, I just didn’t unreasonably expect anything spectacular) but they are spectacular. Real homely feeling to them. Thanks again for your hospitality.

Recently watched Rest Day rider on YouTube and she Vlog'd a visit here. Searched on Trip Advisor for reviews and location before camping for the night in Savernake Forest. After a near freezing night in a tent in the Postern Hill campsite we stopped off at the Choppers Cafe at 0815 the following morning on our way home. The reception by the staff at the counter was very warm and chatty and made you glad that you're eating in. The Big breakfast for around £7 was very filling and everything on the plate was quality and well cooked and very tasty, ditto too for the small breakfast. If I'm ever around the vicinity of this cafe in the future then its worth a detour to eat here again.

Without out doubt, the worst, cheapest sausage I have ever eaten in 60 years. It's cheap for a reason. Place smells of bleach cleaner. Not nice at all.

introduced to Choppers by my gamekeeper son - he goes several times each week with his gamekeeper colleagues and mates - which is always a good sign, they want quick, decent food at a reasonable price. If we go at weekends he always has the Fatboy burger - says it's the best burger he's ever had! (he's a big lad!) I usually go for the breakfast. Menu is fine considering size of cafe. No frills, clean, plenty parking, dog walking field and a proper washer upper! One of our favourite places locally.

Three of us out on our motorbikes for a spin around Wiltshire yesterday. Read a review for Choppers and decided to give it a go. Absolutely brilliant, very friendly welcome and food to die for (especially hungry bikers)! Sausage and bacon roll a veritable feast. I did see the large full english breakfast come out but decided that it was probably more than enough for the three of us!Ample parking and ideally situated in great biking countryside. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

This cafe should have National Trust or English Heritage status ! It should be on your places to visit list ! Up there with The Taj Mahal, The Pyramids or The Leaning Tower of Pizza . I have visited roadside cafes, pie shacks, eel stalls around the globe... but I will always think of Choppers as home ! First class food, seating, toilets (soap in the wash basin provided!).... and clean !!!! (extra exclamation marks) A great place to break your journey or a culinary destination, space too, to exercise the dog, kids, wife etc. Intelligent staff with whom you can debate the verities of life.... cream before jam on a scone or the other waay round? Beans on toast before grilled cheese ? Or grilled cheese on toast before beans ? Whatever...... they will cater to your preferences. I will be making this an important part of my journey every time. I hope you will too. It certainly deserves to be in the Michelin Guide or the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.

I was so disappointed to realise that I had driven past this Little Gem of a proper Traditional Roadside Transport Café many times without having given myself an excuse to stop off and partake of their refreshments. Finally, if only to satisfy my curiosity, I called in just before 8:00am on a recent Saturday morning. I'll never make the same mistake again. If necessary, I'll go so far as to amend my planned route so as to ensure that a breakfast there is an unequivocal slot on the day's itinerary. It's good, really, really good! Unpretentious, simple food presented by charming friendly people providing excellent facilties within the context of what one might expect of an old fashioned traditional roadside layby "greasy spoon".Long may they continue to do so.Thank you Guys - you made my day!

Don't expect 'Airs and Graces' at this Truck stop Café but if you want to stop for proper roadside food and a cuppa then it's hard to fault. Decent cooked food with good portion sizes and some good banter all round. It's nice to have the option of a sit down meal and have toilet facilities rather than having to stand by a roadside van. Just what we needed on our travels, a quick satisfying pit stop and back on the road.

Passed by a few times and eventually got the opportunity to try. Decent sized parking - gets quite a bit of commercial traffic. Service was OK. Full English nothing special, with very poor dried out (hollow) sausages but decent bacon. I think the issues are sausages cooked off early in the day and bacon was fresh to order. Poor phone coverage due to shipping container and no wifi was available. Its a transport cafe so don't expect too much.

What a great little place this is. A converted shipping container which has now been clad to look like a log cabin! Good, honest "greasy spoon" cafe, only there are no greasy spoons in sight. We live in Andover and my wife and I stop here for a bacon roll on our way to Marlborough. The griddle is on view and very clean. If you are on this road, give it a go! It is ace!

Choppers cafe is (as my headline suggests) situated in a lay-by just south of Burbage as is a "roadside cafe" in the traditional sense. It's an absolutely unpretentious, straight forward "cafe" of a type that seems to be disappearing far to quickly.

Food was lovely, my boyfriend and I haven’t enjoyed a meal as much as that in a while. Food and drinks are low price, especially considering the portion size. Service was good; they were fast and they made sure everything was okay. Definitely coming back☺️

There’s a lot of restaurants in westbury in such a small town but this is by far the best one not just in westbury but the whole of Wiltshire the only place I will eat and the prices are fantastic too recommended B’s special for someone with a big appetite like mine the only place that can defeat me A MUST TRY

A great cafe with amazing cakes, light lunch and coffee. In desperate desperate need of atmosphere though. Very quiet even when full and could be transformed by so quiet music or something to create a buzz as it’s still verging on an old fashioned tea room.
