Best food in Devizes!! This pub always serves the most delicious meals. Cooked to perfection. They are dog friendly and the staff are always lovely. If you’re passing through this is the best place to stop.

Used to be a nice friendly pub with pleasant staff but now live music has changed it on Saturday night to loud and sometimes raucous music with difficulty to get served.

Just had lunch at the 3 Crowns, Devizes. My friends and I each had something different off the menu: Mushroom and halloumi burger: Mexican bean burger and a hunters burger. Absolutely fantastic food. Table service was 10/10. We had a brilliant time in a well spaced pub with great ambience! Perfect; thank-you!

Gigged last weekend here! This weekend I got to try the food!!! Wow.... Burgers are amazing. Highly recommend this place for food, drink, atmosphere. Food portions are very generous so come with an empty stomach! 🤣 Will definitely be returning! Thanks Simon, Lou and the team 👍

In the area for the local parkrun and decided to call here after reading the reviews. Incredible atmosphere within the pub with awesome and friendly staff. There was 14 of us in total who arrived at various times who all got incredible meals. Got to meet the lovely local legend Betty xxx Like previously mentioned all staff exceptional but Kelly stood out as going the extra mile by remembering my drinks orders every time in what was a. Dry busy pub. Dropped lucky by going on a night when they had a band playing …and wow what a great band …they were superb … Many thanks from all of us from South Derbyshire Road Runners.

A very friendly & dog friendly pub with excellent staff. Eight of us went there last week to try the new burger menu. Not since "McArthurs" in London in the early 80's have I tasted anything as good, and my seven friends agreed completely. I particularly liked the idea of purchasing your side orders separately from the burger, as it gives you many more choices. For instance cauliflower wings with blue cheese sauce, The Caesar wedges, Ham & Cheese Croquettes, plus many more selections, and we tried them all. Delicious and great value! Goodbye McArthur memories, Hello Three Crown Burgers!

The recent refit has made this the go to pub in Devizes for good value food and drinks in a modern environment. The remodelled courtyard is an added bonus. The staff are friendly and switched on.

Everything comes in a basket so you end up with a table of shared baskets and no plate to construct an actual meal. Chicken Burger was ridiculously huge that you have to disassemble to eat. Food had nice flavour but awkward to eat due to baskets and no plates!! As soon as it got busy with drinkers they forgot us and were too focused on the drinking trade we therefore missed out on the chance to have dessert.

Carnival night in Devizes today, so Three's was of course busy as it usually is, plus they always have great bands on. Perfect day to pop in as they launched their new menu today, so it would have been cheeky not to go try something out. I had their Jerk Burger which was so flavoursome, tender chicken thighs in a jerk sauce with pineapple slices and mango sauce and I also had one of their sides of Cauliflower Wings which were crispy out the outside and the perfect amount of soft inside. I actually ate most of them before taking a pic 🙈 great portion size and you can get two sides for £7! Definitely worth checking out! 🤤 I got it to go as I wanted to watch the carnival, but I have eaten in many times and the atmosphere is always superb, much like the very friendly staff!

We stopped here for a light dinner after a long trip on a canal boat on a Friday night. There was live music so a good atmosphere. I was really impressed by the excellent gluten free menu and the friendliness of the staff. The young lady who served us couldn't have been more helpful. It was really refreshing to have such good service.

Great time listening to a great band I took my dogs on the off chance in the evening and in the garden and the staff were more than hopeful with providing a drink, some treats, even more treats and then an ice cream for both my dogs that were all complementary. I couldn't thank the staff enough for being so kind and considerate Definitely can't wait for the next gig!!

To start off my review i just want to say that the food was absolutely splendid, more than pleased with the service and the the food was very speedy, there was a lot of lettuce in my food which i dont know how to feel about (not the biggest fan). Wife didnt join us this time to grab her classic teryaki but i did grab a cheeky double scoop ice cream which completed the day. Weather was absolutely fab and i felt the scorching heat down the back of my neck as i walked down the bournemouth seafront. Since I moved into Devizes in March this pub has become my local and life and soul of my new life in town. Such friendly staff and customers. Nothing is too much for them. They welcome me and my dog Isla like family. Always service with a smile. Our favourite pub in town!

Dirty sticky tables, the benches to sit on were filthy. Looked like dogs had been on them. Service was ok but felt like more staff were needed. Food was very good but whole pub needs a good deep clean.

Disappointed in the decor really gone down hill in the last few months 😔 the tables were sticky, to the point mine & my friends hands were literally stuck to the table, seating inside, especially the benches at the far end, were grubby & stained as if dogs had been allowed all over them. Just overall felt dirty very disappointed ☹️

Best Pub in Devizes Hands down, Great selection of drinks. Second to none service. The live music they put on weekly makes it hard to want to go anywhere else!

The staff where not only friendly but allowed to have our table a little earlier that we had booked for. The food quality was excellent and very well presented. Thanks to the bar staff that recommend a great beer for my husband to try, he enjoyed it greatly. Now we know you are dog friendly we will be bringing our fluffy baby with us.

Portions sizes were good. The staff were excellent particularly Kelly who was superb with our neuro divergent young person, nothing was too much trouble for the team to ensure we all had a great time. Highly recommended.

This place is so good. We visited while staying in Devizes. The food was amazing especially the steak with garlic butter. Great value for money. Wine and beer were very good too. Service was excellent and very friendly and dogs made welcome. We will definitely be back next time we’re in the area.

Had Sunday lunch for Mother's day. Food was fantastic and service amazing and a little gift for the Mum's. Made the day even more special..... The Frickles (?) are amazing as was the roast dinner and my brother enjoyed the brownie sundae... The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and really looked after us..... We have never been to the Three Crowns before. We will certainly be going back. Customer service 10 out of 10. Food 10 out of 10. Drinks 10 out of 10 (they had Swordfish Ale!) Prices 10 out of 10. Live entertainment 10 out of 10. We went on Mothers Day. All mums presented with flowers and chocolates. This pub is a hidden gem in Devizes. Thanks to all the staff who made us feel welcome.

Had a lovely Sunday Lunch for Mothers Day, staff were warm & welcoming. My mum & I received a lovely bunch of daffodils & some chocolates, so thoughtful & lovely 😊 The food was faultless especially the vegetarian option. Definitely & highly recommend 😃

The food was amazing, so much better than we were expecting, I’d definitely eat here again. The staff were friendly and helpful, but really rushed off their feet so we had quite a wait (at a guess close to 10 plus minutes) before the plates were cleared and dessert menus offered. Same again waiting for the bill. We were having a lovely time chatting and just eaten a lovely meal, so it wasn’t a massive problem, but if I had somewhere to be I think it would have got to me.

We were an awkward booking increasing the number for Sunday lunch at short notice and the team did a great job sorting for is. The food was just right for us but most importantly for us was the fantastic service. Great place where you will be looked after .

Staff are friendly and lovely . The food is amazing. Table of 3 , we were looked after by Kelly who was fab from when we arrived to when we left. Kelly recommended things on the menu , helped us pick our desserts and made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed for mains steak frites , dirty fries with pulled pork and nachos and puddings were chocolate brownie with strawberry ice cream , brownie sundae and apple pie with affogato followed by lattes. We weren't rushed inbetween courses so had a lovely relaxed meal and with live music too 😊 Value for money , great service, friendly atmosphere and yummy food.

Great pub with excellent, friendly staff. Always have a good crack here especially on a gig night (Saturdays) They get some awesome bands on here and the atmosphere is always spot on! Have yet to try the food so will update when I do.

This pub offers a great atmosphere with excellent service. Providing good live bands to entertain the many who come along. Make sure to come down and be apart of the crowd singing along.

Went for a meal tonight with my family for the first time and it won't be the last. The food was delicious I had the steak frites garlic herb butter for the price it was unbelievable. The staff were super friendly and attentive. Lovely atmosphere. Can't wait for an excuse to go back!

The pub was refurbished a few years ago and looks much better for it. There's a decent choice of cask and keg beers plus lager, cider and everything else. We visited when it was fairly quiet but it still had a decent atmosphere. Prices were what you'd expect in any of the town's Wadworth pubs.

We ate here for the first time this evening and the food was great, simple, tasty pub food that was well cooked with good portion sizes, we had a portion of fickles which were epic! Great atmosphere and the staff were super friendly, id definitely recommend this pub as somewhere to have a good laid back meal with friends.

Came in Wednesday 27/12. Had 6X beer by far the best wadworth Pub in devizes, beer is always superb. The bar staff are always very friendly and chatty to. Pub along with the toilets are spotless every time I come here

The extremely nice and helpful staff, the excellent food, and lovely Wadworth's beers make this my favourite place to spend a Saturday afternoon. It's a pub that, although very spacious, seems cosy and friendly.

Food and drink excellent, but what makes the experience great are the bar staff. Really efficient, attentive and friendly.

Been in several times through this summer. Every time there was something on the menu that they had run out of. This is even when we arrive almost right on evening serving time. But worse than missing menu items, is the bar maid who delivers the news like its actually funny. Wont ever go again.

My first time at the Three Crowns Devizes. Met a friend for lunch. I had booked a table and received a warm welcome and lovely service. Impressed with the menu and generous portions e.g. fries being served with sandwiches. Perfect for a lunch. I will certainly be back! Thank you Three Cowns.

I had one of the best lasagna I have ever had since I have been living in UK for the last two decades. And this comment comes from an Italian person like myself. Very kind and courteous staff. Go and enjoy the pub, the food and the atmosphere.

Excellent service, good choice of meals, including plenty of gluten free options. Meals were tasty, good value and friendly service. Having previously eaten here before when visiting family and friends near Devizes, the Three Crowns did not disappoint. I definitely will book again when visiting Devizes next year. I would thoroughly recommend.

Excellent Sunday roast with pleasant staff

We had lunch as we were having a nostalgic trip to my husband's childhood. His nan and grandad used to manage the pub in the 30's and 40's. The food was excellent and Sam was extremely charming and polite as our server.

'Don't take cash' is a pain and strictly, you can pay cash, but beers and food are great

Friendly, warm, accommodating. The food was sublime, to boot. This was topped by the superior service we received, namely the bar supervisor and bar staff that waited our table. They couldn't do enough for us. Can't wait to return. Great call on everything today, 13/9/23. Is there a downstairs loo for those with disabilities?
