Lovely cafe with large selection of cakes, sandwiches and decent coffee. we stopped here to refuel whilst riding King Alfred's Way. Friendly staff, clean toilets, sensible Covid precautions and next door to a little Nisa shop for anything else you need

The green tree do arguably the best sandwiches in England :) large doorsteps and baguettes as well as normal bread. The staff are lovely. It would get 5 stars if the fillings didn't run out as fast.!

Really good sandwiches with great prices. Friendly staff. Plenty of seating inside or have it to go. It was a first visit for me and if I’m in the area again I definitely would stop of for another quick bite.

Needed somewhere for some lunch after visiting Stonehenge, this little place was a mere 8mins away. Quality food, excellent service & reasonably priced. Simply go, you won’t be disappointed! Just look at these doorstep sandwiches😳😳

Called in on last morning visiting our daughter in Larkhill. Ordered large breakfast and a couple of sandwiches which were all freshly prepared whilst we drank our large coffees which came free with it. Can not fault anything, food cooked to perfection, great coffee and very friendly helpful staff. Didn’t have to eat until tea time - when they say doorstop toast they really mean it! Only bad thing is how far away from home it is. Cakes look amazing too with a good selection to choose from.

We were on our way back from holiday and my husband was starving and we were stuck in a traffic jam, we managed to divert off and came across this lovely Cafe. The staff were so friendly and helpful and were quite happy for our two little dogs to come in. My husband had a lovely sandwich of Cheese and Ham and he was offered a variety of pickle ,mustard etc. The coffee was to die for and it was so nicely presented. When we were leaving the lady offered us a sausage each for the dogs. We were so pleased we stumbled across this place by accident too. Next time we come through this area we will definitely drop in for a Delicious Coffee and a bite to eat.

A friendly welcome, great variety on the menu...enjoyed every minute of my huge salad - fresh ingredients, very plentiful, all tasty. My daughter had a customised plate of sausage/scrambled egg & baked beans - really helpful staff who were happy to help with a childrens toy area to keep her happy - a great success!

So we ordered a big breakfast each, our breakfast was brought to us cold, bacon was raw, eggs wernt cooked properly either, still raw egg white on the top of the eggs and the sausages were completely disgusting and to top it off there breakfasts are served with "doorstep toast" we waited for our toast for 20 minutes after our breakfast was brought to us,they finally tried to bring us our toast as we got up to leave, worst cafe ever, completely disgusting and very over priced for such poor quality, will never eat here again

We popped in while waiting for Stonehenge to open. ( yes, we did arrive that early!) The full breakfast was delicious, and the toast was amazing! Friendly staff and a clean, welcoming atmosphere made for great start to the day. So much so, we were then late for our Stonehenge visit!!

Came here this morning with two of my minded children to give them a treat for beautiful behaviour. I have had a lovely mug (yes a mug) of great tasting coffee (let’s face it most cafes have average if not awful coffee), with milk served in a lovely jug to the side so I may please my own taste. Offered several types of bread and thickness of toast, real butter (not in packets either), choice of preserves and served just right. The children were accommodated for also by cutting up their sausage and having their toast buttered ready. Their toy-role play area is brilliant, puzzles, food and kitchen play plus books. I can only praise the staff too, for their friendly and kind attitude. Thank you ladies

Really nice little cafe, doesn’t look much from outside but when you enter staff are friendly and welcoming, had a lovely lunch 😊 They do so many things and have a large choice of foods from breakfasts 🍳 to lunches, homemade cakes 🍰 and homemade soups and children’s portions too, they have a great little kids area, and a big selection of drinks 🥤

I've been in here a few times for coffee and cake. The coffee is good and comes in a good sized cup; the cake is very good and the servings are a decent size too. Prices are reasonable. Friendly staff. Decor and exterior aren't the best but Larkhill is an army camp and they're never strong on aesthetics. Overall a good cafe and very welcome in the area.

Good choice of soups, all homemade. I tried the hot tomato and jalapeño soup and it was excellent. Finished off with a slice of carrot cake (also homemade) - impressive selection of cakes and all marked with allergens, where there are any, so good even for people with eating restrictions. Very friendly staff - another couple arrived as I left at 3pm and were still welcomed even though it was closing time. Very clean and tidy. Finished off my day with a trip to Stonehenge, only a couple of miles away. All-in-all a really nice place to stop.

I popped in here as I had a bit of spare time before a meeting nearby. As all I wanted was a cup of tea I wasn't bothered by the outside which to be honest isn't good. The first good sign was the 5 star food and hygiene rating...given the exterior it was a welcoming sign.Once inside there was plenty of room and was brightly lit by the large windows. The decor was functional but could do with a refresh. The furniture wasn't great but best described as functional. It's not table service but this is not a problem and shouldn't be. I had a couple of slices of toast to accompany my cup of tea and I was glad to see the bread was thickly sliced and quite possibly from a bakers as opposed to from a supermarket. The menu looked extensive by looking at what other patrons had looked good. It's a shame about the exterior as it's no doubt putting many people off but the Green Tea Coffee Shop is worth a visit.

Stopped on a trip from Cinderford to Romsey , have driven past many times but never had time to stop, husband and son had ‘small ‘ breakfast and I had toast and jam, the breakfast was a great size, quickly served and tasted great, really good value for money . Toilets and rest of premises are really clean and can’t wait to visit again

Have been coming here about 4-5 times a year over the last 3 years. We were disappointed this time. I understand that they have moved a few animals around for grazing purposes however there wasnt as many animals as usual. I have always supported them as I love what they do and I understand animals are expensive with vet bills and with food. Which is why iv always felt the price was worthwhile and rather cheap for the costs animals take to maintain. However I left today feeling they should atleast move the signs when animals are moved as I couldn't remember which animals you can or can't feed. I feel atleast half the pens were empty :( and others were just a few more goats or pigs in them. The pens were overgrown in the unused pens. And the ducks very over grown. I asked where the missing animals were and was told they out graizing. It was hot but you can see when they in pens due to the layout. I just feel that a notice stating new layouts or even a sign or online update would be a better way to warn people not all animals as usual are around. There is definitely alot less sheep than usual. I'm disappointed this time. And we watched a budgie escape and the staff were left with a net that was so short they wouldn't be able to catch the bird. Unless sorted out I can not recommend to friends anymore due to being so sparse.

Ok so Lynne and I are back at The New Inn with friends having yet another superb meal. We have now eaten here a few times and I feel I should commend the staff and the chef ( who we found out his name was Ronnie ) very nice touch when he comes out of the kitchen personally to ask if everything is ok. Once again superb service and our friends also commented on how lovely this superb pub/restaurant is. Even when we pop in for a snack Pizza that is just superb. Well done all at The New Inn. we certainly will be back and so will our friends. You guys deserve to do well as you always go the extra mile. Thank you, so refreshing in this day and age . We will be booking for a meal again l this Saturday night with some more friends. all the very best Ian & Lynne
