The best restaurants in Warminster Copheap and Wylye Wiltshire South West

Found this quaint tearoom a couple of years ago and now we always pop in for lunch when passing through the area. Consists of two lovely rooms to enjoy a good selection of food and beverages. Staff are very friendly and welcoming and in our book is always a plus (as there is nothing more displeasing than staff that don’t want to be working)! If in the area would recommend you take a break here, you will not be disappointed…..

Delicious food, massive portions, lovely friendly people

Stayed overnight here and enjoyed a wonderful ful fry up in the morning. Rooms were nice, tidy and modern while the pub was charmingly rustic.

Very nice village pub not many left :(

A great transport cafe, one of a very few left. Plenty of room to park and always room inside. For nine quid you get a tea plus a large plateful of very good chips, an egg and bacon which is all cooked to order. I go in 2 or 3 times a month, just wish it were more.

Stopped off for a quick pit stop before relative visiting. Good beer selection and proper tasty. Friendly staff too.

26June2024 This ‘bad’ review is just to get the owners attention to the fact the phone number doesn’t work. My last visit was June 2023 and it was the same dead-phone at that time, but I chose to drive there and had a great meal and i cannot recall whether I said anything about the dead-phone at the time, but this time, with so many places closing, I’m not sure whether this one is still open. Happy to delete this review if I hear the phone is fixed.

We booked a table for the opening party, the pub opened earlier in the week with new staff and owners.

Randomly drove round some villages to look for somewhere to eat, and boy did we get lucky with The Angel Inn! Was easy to park. Welcoming staff, lovely food, warm and comfortable. Staff did not rush us through the meal. Food was well presented, prepared to a high standard and of a large portion size.
