The best restaurants in Bromham, Rowde and Potterne Wiltshire South West

We thoroughly enjoyed our meals at Havel this evening. South Indian fish curry and Ceylon chicken curry. Looking forward to working our way through the menu here in the near future

This place only opened last week and they have a massive outdoor pizza oven and area. I was blown away with it. Amazing pizza (with a capital A!!). Really top quality and great value too. Was ordered and delivered in about 40 minutes and arrived hot and fresh. Can't praise it enough to be honest. Thank you. I'll be back!!

Not stayed there (yet) Had a wonderful Sunday lunch there 24.11.2024. Lovely food, very generous portions. Incredibly pleasant and helpful and fun staff. The whole experience was wonderful. We will be back.

A great location with an authentic and real atmosphere, the staff were superb and the food excellent. We stayed at the Bowood Hotel & Spa but chose to eat at The Greyhound which is only a very short distance away. All credit to Tara & Danny for their hospitality at The Greyhound, we’ll be back!!!

Amazing lunch great menu and fantastic choice of vegan food. The staff were very efficient and friendly great choice of beers and wines. The inside of the pub was welcoming and has a lovely snug area with a wood burner. The food was really tasty and the portions were generous. I feel lucky to live so close and can’t wait to return.

Exceptional. Welcoming staff quaint settings with fire, festive. Son wished happy birthday and sung to. Just wow. Starters perfect, both had 🦃 succulent. Son said best parsnips potato , even better than mine. Had ample space in between courses despite this I struggled my cheese selection. Kindly bagged up so could time hone likewise remainder bottle mum juice. Even lift home provided free charge by owner. Highly recommend from both us,, and my son is hard to please. Plus my background catering hospitality.

Went out for a family dinner. Very disappointed with quality of food. Worst meal we have had in ages. When Waitress asked why one plate of food went uneaten..we said it was swimming in oil and inedible. Her response was "I asked you earlier if food was ok and you didn't complain then". Not correct response. She didn't even offer to take price of uneaten meal off the bill. Then she added a service charge which we didn't pay. Birthday meal was ruined. Certainly won't be going back.

Food ,service, fantastic friendly staff ,and lovely pub just to have a pint or 2 also , highly recommend.

Unwelcoming today. It was exeptionally busy today, being half-term and some sort of Halloween event for children. Anyhow, we asked for a table for two, were about to leave, as told “the only place was outside”. We were about to leave and saw a table. My husband went to order and told “the table is reserved for 1:15”, to which my husband said “we will have eaten by then”. He was then told “the kit hen is backed up anyway”. We left.

Lovely cream teas, ample of everything, friendly efficient staff. Super views down the locks from the terrace. Doggy friendly too.

My first visit to the Cross Keys and one of many to come. Participated in a chivelrous bout for the ages in the infamous premier pool league. Their tap water and ice is unrivalled and even better still, the owner and his family couldn't have made me feel more welcomed. Carvery is next...

Absolutely amazing! So flavourful! We go around the south trying different food places and this has to be the best kebab place we've ever tried! We got large mixed kebab, 1/2 cheese burger, chips, rice, and 2 drinks all for nearly £22. Was so worth it! We had very happy stomachs and very full up! Worth the hour drive and would definitely come again!
