We had afternoon tea arranged on our narrow boat to celebrate a birthday treat. The food was of excellent quality, beautifully presented with everything for tea making and a superb selection of sandwiches and cakes, the best we have experienced anywhere. One of our party needed gluten free selection and this was also done very well. Congratulations to the caterers, you did a splendid job.

First night on our trip away so hunted for a bite to eat, opted for fresh kitchen due to reviews and dispite not many resent I would strongly recommend and Altho we never got our pot of guacamole and coriander it was still a feast to say the least. These are large portions of exceptional quality food. Friendly people with local knowledge.

Cannot recommend The Cake Architect enough! We used them for our wedding, and David was amazing from our first consultation, to the day itself. He had amazing ideas which meant our cake's style really reflected us. Also the flavours are incredible, the best cake we've had! We had red velvet, lemon and elderflower, and caramel, and each one was just as good as the other. We also ordered vegan cupcakes and they were so tasty. We had so many complements! You will not regret choosing them for your wedding cake! Thank you for making a perfect day even more special.

We had a daily special of mushrooms in a scrumptious creamy sauce on sourdough toast, followed by a vegetarian pizza with pine kernels which was also delicious. Although there was a large table of 10 on the weekday evening, we were served efficiently & thoroughly enjoyed our evening. We were there on holiday but if we lived nearby, we would definitely visit regularly.

Beautiful presentation. The asparagus may have been genuinely some of the best I’ve had in my life. However, our asparagus dish was missing sorrel, replaced with probably portabello mushrooms. Furthermore, the guinea fowl dish listed a “leg confit” as an element which turned out to be a potato croquette with small bits of dark meat mixed in, not an actual confit fowl leg. It’s demi glacé was over salted. The scotch egg was fine, and I was not a fan of the crab salad/gazpacho dish but that’s mostly a taste thing so I can’t fault it (my partner enjoyed it). All of this would have been fine if not for the fact it cost just under £100 for a pint, a mixed drink, 2 starters, and 1 (!) main after the mandatory 12.5% service charge.

We stayed in Bradford 6 nights and this was the only restaurant we ate dinner at more than once. The ambiance inside and out is charming. Our service was friendly and attentive but not overbearing, absolutely wonderful. Our meals included starters and main courses and all were excellent. The pizzas are large enough to be split between a couple, and supplemented with starter(s). Entree portions are not too large. Everything was very fresh and prepared perfectly. Sadly we had no room for dessert. Great for couples looking for a romantic night out or groups. We hope to return!

Loved it! Only drawback was that our 2 x rooms were in different buildings but we still thoroughly enjoyed our two nights here. Perfectly located on the outskirts of Bradford upon Avon Took the train 🚆 to Bath for the day The meals at Widbrook Grange were amazing. Exceptional service & amazing food 👌

Ive been visiting Pablo’s over the last 2 years whilst on business and have frequently enjoyed having tapas and a cold beer. However the last 2 occasions in recent months have left me underwhelmed so unlikely to return. I had to return my accompanying bread as it was burnt (black), or “lightly toasted”according to a chef/waiter who brought it out. No apology and who has toast with tapas? The fillet steak has always been one of most favourite dishes but the portion size now does not justify the cost. Not the worst but not that great anymore which is a real shame.
