We came across the ‘Bolt Hole’ yesterday lunch time, we are so glad we did. A real cafe with fun, smiley service from all the lovely people that work there. It’s so refreshing to find great ‘proper’ food on offer where you have a good choice of sandwiches exceptionally well made, thick tasty bread with full to the brim fillings ( I chose the tuna, my husband the egg variety) including a side salad. This was followed by a wonderful piece of biscotti cake in a really good portion size & pot of tea for two. I would say this is a true down to earth, breath of fresh air of a place, a great find with great food that leaves you full & happy! Thank you to all the staff for a great experience.

We found the Bolthole Cafe fortuitously on a day visit to Bradford on Avon. It looked so welcoming. We had a sandwich lunch which was delicious. The inside of the cafe was light and airy. It also had outside seating. The two women members of staff were really warm and friendly. We were very impressed with this unexpected gem of an eatery and highly recommend it.

Glad we found this dog friendly cafe. Great choice of amazing food and left no room for the cakes... so we took them away😆

Cosy looking cafe, had cuppa and a coronation chicken sandwhich, which had cubed shaped chicken and the coronation sauce just seem to be mango suace without the mayonnaise and curry.

Went in yesterday to be greeted so warmly and made to feel at home. I had a flat white coffee which was freshly made and really tasty. I also noted a beautiful smell which was essential oils and that got me asking more. I went out sniffing my arm then returned for another cup and to buy one or two oils. Unfortunately my husband came to pick me up from the car park and so I left without but took 2nd cup as a takeaway. I Don't suppose I will be passing any time soon . But if I did it would definitely be my coffee stop. I learned alot in a few minutes about these oils but I also felt so welcome and so relaxed during my visit. Thank you both such lovely people

Wendy's is such a delightful place! We parked in the car park and met old friends for coffee here. A delightful walk along the canal to Little Bedwyn, round through Chisbury, and back to Wendy's for a delicious lunch. The menu is extensive, the food's delicious, and the staff very friendly and welcoming despite being so busy. We managed to resist Wendy's fresh-baked cakes, but they looked sublime. We couldn't have asked for more. Great Bedwyn is fortunate indeed!

The table we sat at was grubby. As I have cancer we always take disposable wipes to ensure hygiene. A necessary item as the table hadn’t had a good wipe all day. Probably for a goodly while given the state of the small round container that housed the sugar. I was tempted to give it a clean - but didn’t wish to pick it up. Our food order came promptly and was like any other relatively fast food. Acceptable. The staff were friendly and polite and the apple juice very good. The cafe is obviously popular given that it was quite full - but Malmesbury itself has become over-touristy and is in dire need of a sweeping brush or ten. The price was acceptable for three people but next time we shall return to the Abbey cafe.
