We came out for our anniversary meal recently. The food was really tasty and well presented. Staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. Our food was served very quickly, even from starter to main. It was a lovely place to eat, and on a hot summer evening felt like we could have been somewhere in Europe. One dampener on the evening was the clearing of outdoor furniture 8.30-9pm. That felt a little early, and while understandable (there were a lot to do, and I recognise they don't wish to leave them out) it did feel a little strange to have that going on while we were finishing main courses and coffees. I'd recommend an early evening booking to avoid that. Great place though. Would definitely return.

This is not authentic Turkish food. I got the chicken Shish with rice. The rice was over cooked and clumped together, and the chicken was bland and clearly oven cooked, even though it was advertised as charcoal grilled. The servers were lovely however, but the food needs work. Overpriced for a fairly small portion too.

As a party of twelve hungry and very thirsty boaters we were warmly received and tables rearranged outside by the river to enable us to all sit together. We stumbled across the place by chance so had not booked but that did not faze them. Good selection of continental lagers plus Bath Ales Gem although several opted for gin and tonic. Imaginative food with the set menu being exceptional value. A service charge of 10% was added but, my goodness, did they deserve it. Thoroughly recommended.

Booked a table on Saturday night when visiting the area. Placed our order and then waited over 45 minutes for our starters (hummus and olives!) finally A server came over to say sorry they lost our order can they take it again! Baring in mind what we had ordered was pretty simple and should be available in a few Minutes we still witnesses other tables get theirs before ours! Granted they did give as another starter on the house but even some bread or a drink would have helped. Starters ok, mains we had chicken and lamb shish - this is not bbq meat it was done in oven I suspect and lacked flavour. At the end we asked for The bill (which has service added) but a more senior waitress came over v sorry for everything and offered us a dessert on house and removed service off bill. If was all a little too late - when they realised they had made a mistake senior staff should have come Over and explained - brought some bread etc - seemed chaotic in there and such a shame

Nice enough looking place and friendly staff, unfortunately the food was very bland and this is mediterranean food which is not bland. Even the rice had no salt which is 101 of cooking rice. Wouldn’t go back for food. This was the same for my fiancé meal so not a one off.

It is a friendly, welcoming place to meet up. ,The food is good but somewhat pricey, the Mains probably aren't value for money.

We booked a table for 5 at this restaurant to celebrate a birthday and were seated in a corner next to the serving area facing a wall. Although it was 6:30 pm on a Saturday night, we were told by the owner who was taking the order that 2 of the dishes our guests chose were not available. The menu only had 6 main dishes to choose from in any event. A fork fell on the floor whilst he was taking the order, he looked where the fork landed but ignored this. He made no attempt to replace the fork. One of our guests visited the toilet, she returned with a shocked look on her face. She began to describe how awful the toilet was so I made a special trip to see how bad this was. The restaurant seats over 110 customers. As I understand from the Health Inspector, there should be at least one toilet for the women and at least one for the men. If the restaurant can accommodate more than 110 people, it should have many more toilets. The toilet had one door handle which could not be locked from the inside and was hanging off the door together with the locking mechanism. Someone tried to refit it previously with some string and sticky tape but to no effect. The toilet cistern cover was missing altogether and the rusty flushing mechanism and filthy water were visible and looked disgusting. The dirty hand-drying machine was not working. The toilet roll casing was also broken and held together with sticky tape, it fell apart when trying to unroll the toilet paper. The rusty waste paper bin was covered in grease and old dust, it also looked filthy and disgusting. There was no hot water from the tap and nowhere to dry your hands. The entire toilet was absolutely disgusting and unhygienic. It had been neglected for a long, long time. The food was equally as bad. The IZGARA KOFTE which is supposed to be tasty minced lamb cooked over charcoal was in fact 3 pieces of compressed bread and some kind of inedible hard processed meat and gristle, shaped into tiny flat hamburgers, it was tasteless rubbery and tough. (I've never in my life, had TOUGH MINCE MEAT before). The CHICKEN SHISH was exactly the same shape as the above but in a different colour which also tasted disgusting. I believe the meaning of SHISH is something cooked on skewers over charcoal. Both the above dishes appeared to have been pre-cooked and heated in a microwave, yuck. The wine was served lukewarm, I politely mentioned this to the waitress, but she ignored me and continued to pour into everyone's glasses. Once the bottle was almost empty, she appeared with a bright green plastic bucket and placed the bottle in it (the bucket resembled a plant pot.) In all, this unforgettable experience left us all bemused and quite perplexed. Never ever again. It goes without saying, we went elsewhere for dessert.

Lovely place. Lovely atmosphere. The food was good but for the money disappointed since most of it is kebabs on a plate. would have be nice if you offered the full kebab choice with pitta bread etc etc to make a kebab. But chargrilled chicken on a plate with a side bowl of salad and chips just don’t cut it for the money sorry. Could have found loads of other places better for the money. Service was fantastic food quality brilliant. Also you need proper toilets for everyone to share one toilet for a whole restaurant is not on!

A very pleasant Turkish/Greek restaurant with nice food and wine. Our party had the set lunch menu with good choices for veggies and non veggies alike. Good wine as well.

We had a lovely birthday lunch today. It was a bit windy outside where we chose to sit but the welcome was friendly and relaxing. Great to have interesting food beside the river. We walked upstream a few hundred metres after our meal and saw kingfishers flying along the river. We have eaten here once before and will do so again when in Bradford on Avon.

Friendly service, good food at a sensible price. A lovely place to sit outside by the river if the weather is suitable. Kebabs and special Turkish stew are recommended. Thanks especially to Kate.

We visited on two occasions whilst on a short break in Bradford on Avon and both times were served by lovely staff who were genuinely friendly and professional. The location by the riverside is beautiful and the food is delicious at a great price. Honestly we wish we had such a great eatery where we live in Sussex! Highly recommended

This was a group of us, celebrating a birthday. The two course evening menu had a good variety - enough to cope with our various dietary requirements! Drinks were very expensive but they did also provide tap water. Service was very friendly and accurate - especially Deniz whose smile could melt hearts. 😊

Lovely restaurant/surroundings. Nice food. Tasty chips. Yummy borek. Modest portions. Staff friendly but a bit slow /inattentive. Maybe because they were busy. Atmospere marked down as there was a group in an adjacent table with a dog which kept barking, which was very unpleasant to have to sit near, especially for my friend with hearing aids, and the staff made no attempt to get them to move outside (where there was plenty of space).

Ok food but overcharged. Went for the two course set menu but charged for the starters. Didn’t see it at the time. Definitely not good value forthright food if paying more than the two course set menu price. Poor price quality.

A fabulous experience all round - friendly and efficient service, food came out quickly hot and fresh. I had the lamb shish and it was beautifully flavoured and so tender. Also very accommodating for my allergies, checking ingredients etc. Would not hesitate to return if we are ever back in the area!

Ordered a selection of their meze options, all very bland and overpriced, didn't get much for £40! Perhaps their main courses are better? I know I can't complain about tap water but just saying that I nearly puked after a sip of mine as it tasted like what I could imagine toilet water would taste like! (my partner's was OK)

Great staff here very attentive and chatty! Service was very quick and the food was very tasty! Turkish wine was great too! Would defo recommend for anyone looking for a nice dinner , restaurant is very bright and has great decor . Reasonably priced

Four of us stopped in on a Friday night. We shared some hummus and pita to start. The hummus was creamy and tasty and the lightly seasoned, warm pita breads were so tasty, they were difficult to stop eating. Mains included two chicken shish kebabs, a generous portion of very lightly battered calamaris which were light and delicious, and the sea bass which our friend was still talking about two days later! The whole meal, service, beautiful lighting, and ambience were fantastic. Jeff, our server, was friendly, efficient, and superb. The restaurant has a nice vibe and was perfect for a lovely night out with friends. Well done Chef. Well done Jeff.

First, let’s talk about my horrible pictures. Sometimes, this food smells so delicious and the atmosphere is so wonderful, you just start eating and forget to take pictures. This was one of those times😎 To our surprise, Bradford on Avon has a wonderful selection of restaurants, you could just about each your way around the world. Tonight we wanted to visit the Mediterranean. Olea Mediterranean is located right on the river Avon, with patio, seating, and indoor seating. We booked via email without any difficulty whatsoever. When we arrived, we found a wonderfully boisterous, happy atmosphere. We were greeted warmly, and taken to our lovely table. The host, and our waiter, Jeff, we’re extremely welcoming and accommodating. We started with the mixed appetizer plate, and it was fantastic! Every single dipping sauce was spot on, and super flavorful. The toasted bread was still soft and chewy in the middle, absolutely perfect. For our means, we both decided to have the lamb shish kebab. The marinade of it was delicious, the meat was tender, and since we had sausage left over from our appetizer, we were able to include those flavors in as well. What a wonderful meal! We had a bit of fun with the bar staff and even introduced some thing that they decided to try themselves and loved. I mentioned to my wife that this was really more like going to a large party at somebody’s house rather than a restaurant. She absolutely agreed. As we were leaving, we chatted with the manager/owner, and our waiter, sharing that idea of a festival type of feeling. He replied, “Here at Olea, we don’t have any customers, only guests in our home.” It was truly wonderful to see that his ideal was completely played out all throughout the evening. Our only regret was that we had not discovered this wonderful place earlier in our five day stay. If we had, we definitely would’ve gone back!

Easy to book online with quick email confirmation. Very professional staff and a great, varied menu. We opted to share a hummus starter which worked well. My main - the sea bass was really lovely. I’d made the decision to have this based on other TripAdvisor reviews. It was well worth it! Husband was quite happy with his lamb koftas too. We would definitely recommend eating here. Oh, for the warmer weather to be able to sit outside!

Great atmosphere and service but the portion sizes were on the small side.

We both had Lamb Shish for main course. There was no detectable trace of a taste of lamb. Lamb is my favourite meat so I am well qualified to judge a lamb dish. The rubbery substance had no discernible lamb flavour whatsoever. I expect there...

A mediocre restaurant. Food OK but not particularly generous. I had the lamb kebabs and there were five small pieces and a salad with a small portion of chips. What really let it down was the service. Both courses were delayed in the kitchen and we had to ask how long they would be. Appreciate it was a relatively busy Saturday but there was plenty of staff. Just a bit chaotic. Disappointed. Good Turkish coffee.

We visited this restaurant for the first time today and enjoyed a truly excellent meal. There was a fantastic choice of drinks and our main meals were absolutely delicious. I can never resist a dessert and the tiramisu was lovely. Everything was well served and the staff were very helpful and friendly. This is a very good restaurant and we will definitely be going again!

Called in here with a mate to have lunch. Have to say wasn't aware of Olea but had an excellent lunch. Sat outside under shade of a tree overlooking the river . Will certainly visit again.

Will definitely be coming back and possibly bringing friends. In case your interested the two of us had the cold meze sharing platter, mains my wife had chicken shish, I had chicken guvec and dessert we had tiramisu and baklava, all tasty dishes.

We stumbled onto this authentic Greek restaurant in Bradford on Avon, while exploring the areas around Bath. It must be awesome in high summer, a bit chilly the day we went but we still braved eating outside. We shared about 5 dishes, all were spectacular. All the staff were friendly and attentive. Hope to be back soon.

A lovely venue in a lovely town. We took a punt on a sunny day and ended up having one of the nicest meals we have had out for a long time. The hummus topped with lamb was particularly amazing. Couple top notch food, outside dinning on a sunny day and fantastic customer service (thank you Jeff) and this place really is a must visit if you are pottering round the town, even if you are not visit, you won't be disappointed.

Visiting from Lincolnshire for a weekend break and stumbled across Olea Mediterranean. From the initial greeting we were made to feel welcome by a very friendly and helpful team. Every part of the meal was first class. Highly recommend the lamb shank. The place has a great atmosphere and prices are reasonable. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Hood to have a different style of cooking to experience. Greek / Turkish influenced food. Lamb and chicken dishes both very good for main course. Excellent prawns for starter. Not over dressed in sauces and side accompaniments - a good thing. Friendly and helpful staff. Not cheap, but worth it.

Went for lunch with a friend and was not at all disappointed. Food was utterly delicious, service was friendly and the sun was out so it felt like being on a much needed holiday. I only wish they did deliveries as I'd order from them regularly if they did!

Had a fantastic meal at the Olea Mediterranean tonight. The food was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. It was such a lovely atmosphere which made it feel like we were on holiday in some exotic destination. The staff added to the atmosphere by singing a very cheerful happy birthday to a couple of tables. We were celebrating my son becoming a qualified Barber and the staff even took time to come over and congratulate him and wished him all the best in his new job. Our waiter was delightful and recommended the Bailey's Tiramasu and he was not wrong, it melted in the mouth. Tonight wasnt planned but turned out to be one of the best evenings I've had out in a long time and I will definitely be returning. Well done all the staff for making us feel like one of the family.
