The best restaurants in Wiltshire South West

Best pizza I've had in the UK hands down, very reasonable prices, staff are always happy and treat you as a friend. Massive shame that they appear to struggle to stay afloat in the current economic climate. Would be a huge loss to the Salisbury food scene if they close for good.

I visited the cafe with a group of friends, I cannot recommend it enough! They were extremely helpful and welcoming. The bagels and bread are all homemade, with a great selection of fillings to choose from. Will definitely be returning

The Harp and Crown have moved to a model where they host different plant-based chefs in their kitchen. Last night we had the most creative Christmas themed menu we’ve ever had. Beautifully presented, original and good value. Pomme pave (we didn’t know what this was but it tasted amazing), and little jewels of celeriac that could be mistaken for a sweet were some of the highlights. A little gift box to take home at the end was a nice touch. We ate the contents of the gift box the following morning and the little mince pie and handmade mint cream in there were amazing. It is even more impressive that Thomas Wainwright the event chef (TasteOnTour) produced all the food on his own in the kitchen that night. Best food we have had for along time. 6 stars.

We had an amazing breakfast excellent quality food and wonderful service. Bought wonderful cheese and cold meats. Highly recommend a visit.

Christmas Menu had, what a meal! 3 of us one was Vegan. Couldn’t do enough to cater for our Vegan family member, he said his meal was excellent and he’s a Chef himself! All the courses and presentation was amazing, couldn’t do enough for us . Many thanks to Jordan and his team for making fantastic start to Christmas for us!

One of the best mixed meat kebabs I’ve ever had. Full of flavour great value.

We have visited this pub many times now as they offer camping to the rear of the pub. The caravan site is good with great views across fields and is very well located for access to the beautiful village and the surrounding countryside for walks etc. This weekend we made the most of a meal offer on the Friday night. As always the food was to a particularly high standard, I am really fussy about steaks and the Ribeye was excellent, both in its taste, sourced from a good butcher, and the Chef knows how to cook a steak. The pub is a particularly friendly one, we have visited many times over the years but we are always impressed with the friendly nature of the place. Paul and Lorraine, the landlords always make you feel welcome in the relaxed atmosphere. We finished the weekend visit with a roast on the Sunday and again, this was excellent, we both had roast Lamb and it was very tasty and well cooked. Its only a matter of time before we return.

We stopped for Fish and Chips in Barney at the Fisheries, the fish was absolutely beautiful, but the chips should not have been served, they were certainly not fresh they all went in the bin

The best artisan pizza I've ever had! The Slinky Fox is a must try if you haven't before! They're based in Old Sarum and do pop-ups and events so keep your eye out for them!

Rosaria en Gianni zijn gewoon schatten van mensen! Je voelt je onmiddellijk thuis en ze weten als geen ander om iemand in de watten te leggen met hun Italiaanse gastvrijheid! Hun liefde vertaalt zich ook in heerlijke gerechten. We kunnen ons werkelijk geen betere plek voorstellen om een pure en eerlijke gastronomische avond te beleven met producten van topkwaliteit (de versheid van hun producten en de fierheid waarmee ze hierover vertellen is subliem). Iedere keer opnieuw komen we niet alleen buiten met een voldaan gevoel, maar ook een warm gevoel! We zijn zo blij dat we jullie hebben ontdekt, en kijken alweer uit naar onze volgende keer! Qué buffet increíble hicieron hoy. Le pedí a Evergreen Café que le proporcionara un almuerzo buffet a mis padres por el 70 aniversario de boda. Realmente sobresalieron, la comida era fresca, de buena calidad y muy sabrosa. El personal fue mucho y más allá muchas gracias x

Took my nieces money as a deposit for a cake and now won’t answer the phone or messages to her. My niece gets married in a week and has now been left without a cake. How can you do this to people???? You should be ashamed.

Amazing a must visit. Yummy food, lovely breakfast and great prices. Lots of parking. Definitely recommend
