Stayed here in August 23. Lovely accommodation, spacious and clean. Vikki and Martin are both very helpful. Really relaxed atmosphere. The children loved playing in the games room and the communal garden. We might even come back for another visit. Would highly recommend this accommodation.

We had booked the Ilchester for a family wake and gathering in September. On the day the manager and staff provided all that we asked for, the food was great, fresh and more than enough. It provided a great catalyst for sharing memories on the day. Thank you it made everyone's day perfect.

Such a delightfully quirky and unique little spot, with treasures everywhere you look! We came for breakfast and the quality of food (we had 2 vegan sausage sandwiches) was so wholesome and it was so refreshing for it all to be veggie and vegan. 100% recommend this adorable little cafe to anyone visiting the area, especially if you also love plants, gardening and vintage treasure troves 👌

Came for lunch with the family, and the food was incredible. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and a lot of effort is put into each dish. The girls on shift were extremely welcoming and attentive, which made our experience 10 x better. Will definitely be back!

We recently had lunch at the newly reopened Clock Public House in Chideock. Our portion sizes were actually quite small, and much more like a childs meal, and so not really good value for money. We both came away hungry. As potatoes are quite cheap, there can be no good excuse for such small portions of chips. Disappointing, as the chips were amazing. We also had fried eggs, which were hard, overcooked and the yolks not runny at all. We finished with latte coffees which were not very hot and extremely frothy, so did not have much volume to them. I appreciate the new owners are still finding their feet and I believe these issues may just be teething problems. We wish them luck and feel sure things will improve.

We were camping just down the road this past weekend and decided to have a browse - I'm glad we did as there was much more to this farm shop than I was expecting. Lots of different produce and gifts type things all quite nicely set out. Some things were sensibly priced considering you do expect to pay a slight premium at a farm shop (postcards 50p, fresh scones £1, clotted cream £1.99), but some of the prices were a little shocking - there were loaves of fresh bread at £4.50 and I nearly had a heart attack when I saw the price of ice cream being served at the side of the car park! Overall a worthwhile trip - the scones were delicious, good selection of ciders and got some lovely warm slipper socks. I'd recommend popping in if you're passing (the views are fantastic too) just don't expect any bargains.

Beautiful location with fantastic views, sadly food and service let them down. Definitely over priced for what was produced. Not family oriented in the slightest, no kids menu at all. No atmosphere, unexperienced team with no etiquette.just wasnt worth the money at all.The food was terrible, bread was stale oh my , I could go on just don't waste your time.

The Roast on the Coast is soooooo good!! We booked a table for 4pm then decided to have a takeaway instead. Bought a 'large plate' and put everything into a takeaway box. Still piping hot when we got home. Absolutely delicious. Really looking forward to the next one already!!! Thank you so much to the Team for always doing such a great job!!!
