We stopped while walking the SWCP we were greeted with friendly service and great value - a cuppa and an excellent muffin for £2.50. Despite there being no loo and a sketchy network this is a great little place in the middle of nowhere.

great atmosphere in this freindly country pub with very helpfull staff willing to assist with dietary needs and easy access for wheelchairs makes getting around very easy

Had Sunday lunch here today. I'm not going to tell you how good it was because I want to be able to book it again very soon. And if I tell you, you'll want to go! 😉

Pub itself is nice but staff/management are disinterested, sitting by the fire rather than leaving the seats free for customers Ordered 2 beers but they said the barrel was empty and needed changing so went to change it and then never came back to serve the drinks. The food was over cooked (burnt) and when mentioned wasn’t acknowledged and still charged full price.. would not recommend at all

Came across this tearoom during a long coastal walk, just after I said 'wouldn't it be nice to find somewhere to have coffee and a cake!'. How welcome it was and the owner was so friendly and nice. I had a coffee and a piece of coffee and walnut cake which was home made and really good. My husband had a 'savoury tea' - cheese scone, cream cheese and pickle with a pot of tea which was a first for him, and really enjoyed. We sat inside as the weather wasn't great and there was a huge array of teapots in a cabinet to look at, there was an attractive garden outside if the weather had been nice.

Had a fantastic Sunday roast here last Sunday with a large group of friends.. Very reasonable at £14.99 or £16.99 for a selection of all the meats. Served with plenty of beautifully prepared vegetables. Great location with plenty of atmosphere. The Staff were friendly and very helpful. Many thanks from Bristol !

Food was amazing! What a quirky little pub, with so much character! Friendly staff, and amazing service! Lovely seating area outside, once we had finished our meal we spent an hour chilling outside with the fairy lights and blankets. Will definitely be returning!

Pleasant midweek lunch enjoyed here…reasonable choice of pub grub from bar menu; good food; sensible pricing & welcoming/good service from the outset. Adequate choice of drinks for our needs too. Would recommend & happily return if ever in the area.
