Sadly, all the good days I've had working there have been spoiled by the fact they regularly made it next to impossible to visit because their primary business of film studios took precedent, and then they shut up shop almost overnight and months later, I'm still waiting for my refund, despite being told it's on the way. Disgusting behaviour

My wife and I were looking to break a journey from Kent to Bristol and didn't fancy stopping on the M4 services for lunch. She looked up a "dog-friendly pub near junction 15" on Google whilst en route and The Bakers Arms was recommended. We were greeted extremely warmly, including the dog, (who was given a biscuit). Service was brisk and cheerful throughout. The food was lovely: ham egg & chips and Bakers Arms famous battered cod & chips - and generously portioned. Great country pub. It was good to see enough people drinking and dining to create a nice atmosphere. Bradbury village itself is full of character and all in all a thoroughly enjoyable stop for lunch.

We originally planned to go toThe Plough on the Hill, which was just off the M4 as a pitstop. The carpark was full so we looked on Google maps for some where else. Bakers Arms came up so we decided to try it... So pleased the car park was full at the previous pub because the Bakers arm was a little treasure of a find. A warm welcome we received and were able to have a table for food. I had a smaller portion of their famous battered cod and chips, my friends had the sausages in Yorkshire pudding and mash with onion gravy and scampi and chips. We didn't have any room for dessert but the ones we saw come out looked absolutely delicious. We were going to come back on Monday for a pitstop on the way home, but sadly it's closed. Definitely worth a visit on the other days 😄 I have left the exact same review on TripAdvisor

Dog friendly pub with large car park at rear. The pub has several sections a quiet dinning area, a front reception area with log fire, a sports area with sky tv sports and a pool table and darts board, there’s also a rear uncover outdoor section with tv aswell as a front garden, side garden and rear garden for the pub. Had the harrow burger here and was served very professionally and tasted great. Staff friendly and welcoming highly recommend and will be returning again

We originally found the farm shop & came back last year with visiting family for a pub lunch which was delicious, good quality & excellent value for money. Wanting to repeat the experience with a different set of relatives, we'd booked lunch again. Unfortunately one of our party was unwell; I spoke, the evening before, with a lovely young woman, Lily, who offered to push back the time of our booking, enabling us to get seen in our local walk-in centre. When, after being seen, it became clear we'd have to cancel, Lily was extremely kind & understanding & couldn't have been nicer about it. Although disappointed we didn't get to eat at the Royal Oak yesterday, we will return when next in the area, as it's well worth a visit. Thank you, Lilly!

Very strange menu nothing really to my liking and nothing for children either so it’s not somewhere to go with family…… ok ale but the menu needs to be bigger & nothing for a vegetarian my wife has recently become vegetarian for health reasons so we couldn’t eat here & don’t think we will return

8 of us were squeezed on a table for 6 but were moved after a while when we requested. My fish pie was nice & the men liked their burgers. The lasagne was nice but too small. The curry that 2 of our party had was awful, chewy and vinegary. All the glasses looked dirty but were probably scratched from dishwasher. They need to be replaced. The service left a bit to be desired. The waitress asked us to pass our starters along ourselves & the hosts were scruffy, especially considering they had a big christening party in. Must try harder if they want customers to return.

Always a fantastic atmosphere and warm welcome by the amazing staff, who couldn't be more helpful. We have taken all our family and friends here and they have all loved it just as much as we do. The food is exceptional. We go to the tapas night each month, we've also eaten off the main menu (which is constantly changing due to the specials board, which is always being updated with exciting new ideas,) and the roast, all have been wonderful. We have not had a single bad dish. I couldn't recommend this place highly enough.

Fantastic Sunday lunch. We booked this for lunch with friends. It was really good. Great staff and food was excellent.i had the roast beef and it was one of the best. Toast potatoes were perfect and the beef thinly cut and rare. Staff were attentive and the pub had a nice atmosphere.

I am surprised by the negative reviews. Family and friends have used this resturant for many years both eating in and takeaway. Service can sometimes be a little slow but only at the very busiest times and it can be very busy. One of our favourites in the summer is a day at the beach with friends and place an order as we leave the beach for collection as we arrive home. We live fairly close to the Burj so this is perfect end to a day. In my opinion some dishes can be hotter than their ranking system especially the House Specials but flavour is always excellent.

Dear Amy and Beth, Just to thank you and all your staff for making our evening a big success, last Saturday night, everyone was lovely and polite, The waitresses, couldn`t be more helpful always ready to supply anything as requested, As you know the occasion was for my Granddaughters 21st Birthday and replicated my other Granddaughters 21st Birthday which we held back in November, The food was delicious, and excellent value, (I am so glad that I chose the Lamb Tagine as so were the half a dozen members of my party who were jealous of my choice) The party room, where the event was held was snug which offered the perfect ambiance and I would have no hesitation in recommending you to anyone requiring the same function as I have successfully achieved TWICE, Once again thankyou, Regards, Tony Wood
