The staff must be aware of the poor service, given the amount of reviews. Purely there for convenience but really not worth the hassle. Will go to the canteen next time as per other reviews.

Went for a drink and my friend got food the food was dry and not that nice. And the drinks was not great at all . Sadly the service was terrible. I was a patient and it was awful the staff was so stressed there was hardly a queue the attitude of them was terrible. I will never come to your costa again . I came on the 13 / 5/ 24

Really bad service, the blond lady and the boy were just not interested in serving the customers other than the hospital staff… we had to wait in the queue to order for at least 15min and than to get the coffee another 10min… the staff who came after us got their coffee before us. Never again getting coffee from here.

I ordered a salted caramel frappe with extra caramel for my daughter WITHOUT coffee, I brought it up to my daughter (who CANNOT under any circumstances have coffee) she tried a small bit and informed me it tasted funny, I then tried it and it did without have coffee in it. I went to return it only to be told that it did not have coffee in and it was just the extra salted caramel. This is not true there definitely was coffee in there. She has ordered the same this morning and it didn’t taste as if it had coffee in. This is extremely disappointing and serious.

Appalling service today. I was in hospital waiting to be seen and my husband went to get coffee and something to eat. He made a mistake in the order, which he immediately apologised for and said was his fault. The male staff member so was unbelievably rude he actually couldn't quite believe it. A lady behind in the queue was equally shocked. Given its position in a hospital where many are vulnerable or having difficult days etc, a bit of empathy and politeness goes a long way. Shocking service.

Painfully SLOW service!! If you’re in a rush for coffee or in need for food quickly, just don’t bother, go to the canteen opposite it’s so much quicker… even if the canteen has an extensive queue… That said it’s a Costa, perfectly good coffee and food we would just like to be served in less than a 20min wait. Regular visitor (2-3 times a week) and regularly go to the canteen opposite!

A lot like most Costas you're used to! But it was very very crowded indeed when I was in there and no one was bothering with masks at all which is surprising in a healthy care setting. Same coffee as usual but did feel sorry for the two people working as it seemed like there needed to be a lot more!

Shocking service, staff as usual far too slow. One needing about work boxes, stock take and chatting. Half hour in queue before my chemo with only 4 people in front of me. Had to leave as ran out of time. Even a surgeon had to leave. There seems to be more importance given to staff who had ordered in advance. If that's the case at lunchtime, have more staff working the rush hour!!! Very disappointed.

Visited today after a hospital visit. Terrible service. I was queuing for my order and was very rudely asked what drinks I wanted by one girl. Then another girl asked me what food I wanted. Made it very clear she wasn’t happy because the till wasn’t working. I said 3 times I was eating in yet food was all put into a bag. The girl was who making my drinks then asked the woman behind me what I wanted. I was confused as to where my drinks were so I said to her ‘sorry, are these my drinks?’ and she very rudely replied ‘well, yeah?’ For all I know, they could have been someone else’s. Very rude, poor service. Will not be going back. Staff need to learn basic customer service and manners.

Having spent months at the hospital and using this facility there is a sign saying dishwasher out of use ,when clearly it isn't this is just laziness on behalf of staff or shortages . I would reccomend that if they have no dishwasher this would give them ample time to clean the disgusting kitchen and drinking areas.

Been here several times whilst a patient at GWH. Also been several times and it's not been open, despite it being within the advertised openung hours. The staff are rude, as if they would ratger be anywhere else but here. 2 members of staff were having an argument instead of serving customers, which was very awkward for everyone to witness. On one occasion I ordered and paid for a drink with cream and immediately after paying was told there was no cream. I was not told prior to paying which would have enabled me to potentially order something else instead. I've given 2 stars as the coffee and food is nice, as is usual with Costa products.

Ordered a frostino but I was served a chocolate milk shake with ice NO CREAM OR SYRUP ! When I complained the staff insisted that it was a frostino just BLENDED! THEY OBVIOUSLY CAN'T MAKE THE BEVERAGE ,RUDE STAFF, NO OFFERS TO RE MAKE THE BEVERAGE AND I HAD TO THROW THE DRINK AWAY .Total waste of my money Rudeness really understand acceptable!!! !!
