The best restaurants in Budshead Plymouth South West

Passing by and stopped to grab a bite to eat. Fantastic portions, great value for money and a decent takeaway big breakfast with a tea for £9 is an absolute bargain. John even kindly offered for me to sit inside to tuck into the great breakfast. Highly recommend to any one in the area.. if I lived closer this would definitely be my new go to for a decent priced and decent portion breakfast.

OMG what an amazing cafe with super amazing staff ,so friendly especially the chef (long braided hair) We popped in for an all day breakfast and poached eggs with tomato , the best ever fried bread and the poached eggs were perfect Never been in there before but will definitely visit again Definitely 5* and above

wasn't happy with my order today the chicken in my baguette was all slimy didn't look very nice at all .

We went at 9am on a sunday through the drive through and the service was disgraceful. Very rude and unwarranted me nor my parter were in any way rude. I understand the struggle with customers when working in the industry but this was fully uncalled for, came with an attitude from the get go. Didn’t even acknowledge us for a couple minutes when we parked up at the pay window, just stood by the window in a group talking. Gave us the wrong order. The food was dry, seemed like it had been left out. The coffee was utterly disgusting. My partner got a caramel iced latte and it was watery with a weird taste but my caramel macchiato was inedible it was incredibly bitter and burnt. Overall a really bad experience.

Great service, lovely atmosphere and delicious food. The only slightly negative aspect is the price.

You can't beat fish and chips by Edwin and team and the best curry sauce in town 😋

Standard KFC...always super busy parking is horrendous but food came quickly and service was good

Have only ordered here a couple times and this was honestly one of the worst takeaways I've had! Service and speed was ok, the food just did not taste nice. We had kung po chicken and crispy shredded beef. The chicken was so sweet but tasteless, and the beef tasted like egg. It says almost like the batter was wrong or something. Noodles with beansprouts were below average and egg fried rice tasted like hard microwavable rice. I don't give bad reviews but this takeaway was not nice, I was really looking forward to it as well and it disappointed in more ways than one. 1/10 afraid.

Came in hoping to snack on various standard bakery products but were told by the senior staff member behind the counter that they did not sell anything which was available next door at Farm Foods because the prices there were fiercely competitive and there was no point trying to compete.

We decided to try here as my eldest daughter had been before for a coffee and thought it looked good. It was empty at 7:40pm on a Saturday which should have been a warning! Ordered a chicken stack meal, the waffle fries were lukewarm and tasted like they had been sat around for a while, the burger was not great either. Compared to the KFC tower burger it loses miserably. The bun was not that fresh and the overall quality of the chicken, hash brown and bun was low. Conisered a doughnut which looked like krispy kreme and was the same expensive price but they looked like they had been sat around all day. It's fair to say I wont be having a Tim Horton's again in a hurry or ever at all. If you want a good take out burger meal, then go to McDonalds, KFC or Burger King, costs pretty much the same but way better quality and taste than Tim Horton's, such a shame as the restaurant actually looks pretty good and inviting.
