Standard KFC...always super busy parking is horrendous but food came quickly and service was good

As others have said in previous reviews: keep business details up to date on Google maps as you are inconveniencing customers when they travel to your restaurant to find it is closed. Clearly a lot of work being done inside so I imagine it won’t be open again any time soon. Change it please

Would be great of you keep this up to date . Website says the branch is open but it's closed.has been for almost a week .

As usual with this KFC bland fries were cold chicken wasn't up to it! So hit and miss won't bother again staff were very good

The park spots need remarking...somepeople are just either selfish, unable to park or just dumb. The food at KFC just doesn't seem as good as it was. It just doesn't taste as good as it did a year ago. I don't know what's changed but something as.

Staff were very polite. A lil wait but as they say good things come to those who wait . paid for a large box meal and only got regular side and fries happened a couple times now so won't be going back. Also they could do with doing halal meat

Went in Sunday my boyfriend spent 38.10 AND THE FOOD WAS COLD, they did change one thing but just couldn't be bothered to complain about anything else , wasn't even busy in there, won't be going back again

Nice but the car park has rats and there is rubbish everywhere due to the pond life that way there being incapable of using a bin.

Trying to give me 3 legs in a 6 bucket and getting bad attitude by asking for less of them 😒 I thought it was norm to get a mixed type nope and the faces I got for giving the bucket back rude

I've never seen so much solid chocolate at the bottom 😂 About one inch... almost halfway up the cup! Splurged out of the lid everywhere in the car... App doesn't work to order so I went in store. Doesn't work properly in store either deletes all your offers Charged me £10.89 instead of £7.00ish

Man oh man has kfc fallen. Seriously, I remember like 4-5 years ago I'd take the buss out to this one and get a 10 peice bargain bucket and maybe some like 8 hot wings, and that'd cost me like £16. And the chicken was always great. The fries were beginning their decline at the time but I was unbothered. Now my same order would cost over £25 and the chicken doesn't even taste that great anymore. At least the fries actually are quite good now, but seriously, the chicken place does mediocre chicken and charges almost as much as m&s. This is saddening.

Avoid!! Waiting time its 15 /20 min after you order.Weekends opening time its late due to problems all the time.. There is awlays something wrong with order or missing items all the time.. That KFC is ridiculous!!

It's KFC, one of the better ones. Clean and tidy.

Over priced and have changed the recipe on some items

Ordered a chicken tower and 2 pieces of chicken. From crownhill KFC time 5.26pm Monday the 16th October. I was delivered a tub of mash potato a tub of gravy pop corn and 1 piece of chicken. I contacted the KFC and the lady said for me to bring back what eas delivered and I can have my original order for free which cost me £20.

Waited 35 minutes for a chicken burger

KFC... Chicken etc. What can I say. The restaurant is shabby and needs a refresh but the food is up to scratch.

This particular restaurant is a joke, collecting, drive through, just eat it doesn’t matter they get our order wrong EVERY time!! This time we ordered 4 meals and there were no chips, come on, this restaurant has never been any good, the service is p*ss poor

Ordered 2 meals for takeaway, got home and 4 pieces of chicken missing, finally got through on the phone, went back and was told it would be 5 minutes but waited 15. Shocking service and I will not be returning

Usually pretty good food, although I keep getting zinger stacker mixed up for other burgers here when I order the stacker which is annoying to get a basic zinger or zinger tower which is different from zinger stacker but customer service are good enough to remake the meal Everytime this has happened.

Absolutely disgusted couldn’t get my order right and gave up in the end won’t be returning

I feel like kfc could do better on pricing however I will say the food has always been good from this place.

Food was good, the place needed a clean, they seem to focus on supplying all of the food delivery services more than people who actually turn up the the restaurant

Food was excellent as freshly cooked, service was alittle slow but they were busy. The restaurant itself is big but was nearly empty apart from another a couple there some teenagers that entered and were a bit loud but over a good experience

Slow, tables not being cleared. Went back for seconds stood like a lemon waiting to be served they saw me there and never served. So walked out not bothering. Also the main part of the was barely warm. Place has gone down hill.

We walked in at 9:43pm and I should've known to walk away before ordering, as the floor was filthy with litter and there were tables that hadn't been cleared and cleaned, despite the fact the restaurant was empty. We then asked to order 2 Zinger fillet burgers, 1 with chips. Once our order was picked up we took it home, only a 5 minute drive away. We sat down to eat. I didn't want too much bread, so took the top off and proceeded to cut into my with a knife & fork - lucky I did as with the first cut I noticed black on the bottom half of the bun. On closer inspection, there was a big mouldy patch which should obviously have been seen by staff in the kitchen, before any mayonnaise etc was added. It's disgusting that Kentucky are serving food in this disgraceful manner. Unfortunately my brother eats his burgers the normal way, with his hands and had all but finished his burger by the time I'd discovered the mould. We can only assume the both of our burgers came from the same batch and there was probably mould on his as well. Needless to say, he's not happy either. I rang the restaurant straight away to make the staff aware & tell them to check their buns better (possibly their other ingredients too, if this is what they're dishing out to customers). Hopefully he doesn't get sick in the next few days! Shame on you, KFC. 😡

Gone massively downhill since it first opened, It used to be the best. Food is cold and sloppy. Visited again 29th August 2023, 21.43, came away with a Zinger Tower Burger, and the bun had a lump of mould the size of a gobstopper! Absolutely disgusting. I will NEVER visit this, or any other KFC again! The floor was covered in litter, tables not cleaned and wiped down, it had the look of a slum, and the food was worse! #AVOID. Reduced my star rating from 3 to 1. If I could give this place a ZERO star rating, that would still be too good for this place!

Why are you making people wait at the collection window for there hole order when it's not all ready. Ask the customer to move into a parking buy and get a member of staff to take the rest of the order over to them when it's done. So everyone else can get there order instead of sitting in the queue for over half hour waitingto get ther order. Absolutely ridiculous.

Drive through is tight to manouvere

Nice big KFC with lots of parking and a drive through. It has order touch screens it does have toilets if you need to pop in there just for that.

I have not dined in a KFC for many many years and I am in no rush to return to one. There was 4 people, over 2 tables, inside eating when we arrived. There was food all over the floors and tables. There was not a single table that had been cleared and wiped in the whole restaurant. We sat at a table with our kids and I wiped the table with our baby wipes and anti bac from the car. I would have walked out if my kids and partner weren't so set on having KFC for tea. There was 3 members of staff having a chat behind the counter who watched me clean the table but still did not come out to clear the other table. The food prices are just extortionate in my opinion. Mcdonald is much more affordable and a considerably cleaner establishment. A family arrived after us and their son was stood on a table with shoes on. No staff said anything and they certainly weren't cleaning tables so I dread to think how unclean that table was. The chips are horrible, they need a deadly amount of salt to make them tolerable. I can only speak for boneless meat which was actually okay. Overall it was a terrible experience though. Even my kids observed how filthy it was and made a conscious effort not to touch things unnecessarily. Thank goodness for anti bac! My pictures are only of the food on the floor as I did not want to take photos of other people without their permission. I can honestly say we will never return to this KFC ever again and I'm in no rush to return to any KFC restaurant.

I did a drive through purchase from KFC derriford today. Which is 9/8/23 between 16:00-17:00 hrs. Order number 4142 Receipt Code 110510809234142. My experience was horrible. The lady in the till was so nice and patient. But the men at the dispense counter was a trouble. I had to beg him to get few more sachets of mayonnaise and ketchup. It was like a kind of ration he was giving to me. I asked him again and then he give another two. I told him its for the kids too and they want there own. But he was not very help full. I feel very embarrassed now and that's why i post this review. For the management:-If you want to make more money from your mayonnaise and ketchup sachets please do it and start charing money. But please provide what your customers are asking.

Typical kfc not the fastest in fast food

Horrendously long wait at drive through. Rubbish. Not even worth the one star. Utter shambles. Below is a visit on 29May 23 1900 The place was not clean and it stunk of urine as you walked in. The smell was coming from the toilets which were repulsively unkempt. The floors had litter with spilled drinks and no one was cleaning. This is the worst KFC shop I have ever gone to and I will never go to KFC Crownhill again after this visit. That urine stench still haunts me. 🤮🤮 Group visit 8 Aug 23 Even my 1 yr old kid stated that the place was dirty, with tables unwiped and floors littered with left over food. Seriously they need to do something in this ship. Bins full🤮🤮

The chicken was really fresh and lovely and hot.

I tried the new teriyanki burger. The chicken was burned . And tried chicken wings , it was burned and salty. It was crowded, so I didn't take it to the manager.

Appalling store! Went this evening after placing an order through the app and collected via drive thru. Got home to find I had been given someone else's order! I went back to get the correct order. I found out I wasn't the only one but 5 other orders had been mixed up! And the only thing the team leader had to say was human error! Very poor customer service! I won't be returning!!

There is always a lack of items, the service is painfully slow and often the food you get is either missing some or just completely wrong. I've never seen a management person in there. Maybe that's the problem. Worst kfc in Plymouth by far its a shame its also my nearest

Place was very dirty, tables not cleaned, napkins and rubbish all over the floors, chips on the floor been squashed. Wasn’t that busy so surely someone had the time to come out and clean the seating area. Food was fine

Great place for a Zinger Tower!

Cannot believe how expensive the food is now!! Box meal nearly £10. Not worth it at all. Cold soft chips, small chicken. Staff very ignorant. Definitely gone downhill, and at those prices, as a family we won't be returning.

Quiet, at 4pm on weekdays, chicken was ok, ran out of ice cream had to have cookies instead. Gravy was disgusting, my 10 yr old granddaughter has had the gravy before. One pot was out of date 3 days earlier.

The computer says no... Staff don't seem to want to be there. Very slow and not much attention being paid to orders. Quite dismissive of another customer when it was the staff member that had got the order wrong. I think they actually grunted when they changed the items. No wipes for the "finger lickin" chicken. Weirdly sticky floor. I've known this place to be a lot better in the past. Upsides: plenty of parking.

Best KFC we have been in for customer service. Jo was so friendly and made suggestions to help us with our choices. Very impressed.

Always busy. The drive through was qued right back so decided to walk in which was also a little busy mainly people standing around waiting on orders or delivery drivers waiting. we ordered at the machine which was simple to use we then had a good 15-20 min wait for our food. The staff appead friendly and professional.

Don't order from here. Mine just arrived. The gravy we paid £2 for isn't in the bag like the last 2 times and the twister wrap wasn't wrapped and looks like it was punched down into the cardboard container by someone with a lot of hate inside them. We also only had 1 mini fillet in the mighty bucket and the tango has been thrown in, again in an evidently angry manner, destroying my burger. I won't buy from here again.

Long wait. Food swimming in grease. Bones found in childs wrap. Poor hygiene won't be back. Delivery is their prioritisation actual human encounters are a huge problem for them. Avoid. Always leaving put parts of the order!!!

All the tables were dirty but the staff were lovely! Standard kfc food as expected so no complaints there!

Overall, great staff and food was tasty and warm. Unfortunately I ordered through the app but for some reason the ordered didn't go through to the restaurant. So I then had to go in and sort the order manually. They helped promptly and did apologise also.

Diabolical service. Everytime we go they don’t have things in stock and we are never given the right order - there is always something missing even though you have paid for it. Even going back inside to get the right thing they still don’t get it right. Not using this kfc again.

Slightly ratty drive through. Gave me entirely the wrong order, which I didn't discover until I got home. Plus the drink I orders was just soda water. Highly disappointed.

Thursday afternoon visit... Ordered from a machine and waited a while for my order but was worth it as the wrap I ordered tasted freshly made and was hot.

It was ok, but chips were cold. Got replacement and they were cold too...

Some seats were ugly and torn. Some tables were not very clean. No table service though not busy. Ordering machine did not print receipt. Counter printed receipt did not show credit card number, not even the last 3 or 4 digits, just printed "kiosk card". Chips were not great either.

Two visits to this branch over a couple of weeks and both times items were missed out, this resulted in me having to drive back again to collect missed items. This means four trips for two meals. Disappointing

The guys and girls at St Budeaux kfc are great but it can as expected get busy around those dinner and tea time servings

Slow service, awkward to get into when busy but the food was spot on.

KFC has gone down hill, it's not as nice as it used to be

Food was bland not much taste to it as it should be the music was louder then people talking for fast food took about 10 mins for my order and it wasn't very busy won't be going back there again.

Slowest kfc in Plymouth. Took over an hour to get through drive through, then to find out they missed half my order. And £9 a meal now can't believe it!

Food over rated and very few chips certainly not value for money if not a junk food eater
