I was upstairs in the conference room doing a training course. I was told that I was not allowed to eat the half price pasty upstairs. I took it upstairs as I wanted to take it home later to eat. Was pursued by the manager Beverly. Who said I was not allowed to eat it upstairs. I said I know and that I was saving it for later. She said how do I know that? I said you'll have to take my word. She then stormed off before calling me and fellow trainees a bunch of knobheads. Once the day was over I went downstairs and said I felt she was rude and being unreasonable. To that she replied that still thinks I'm a knobhead. Unbelievably rude and terrible customer service.

Sadly very hit and miss, mostly miss especially their sit in breakfasts, sausages are the cheapest nastiest ones you can get, bland and tasteless and not a cheap meal either for a mere cafe. Seating is very tight, says lavazza coffee but I well suspect it isn't, quite bitter. Either way it's not value for money when you don't eat what you've purchased because it's rank.**edit** back to Plymouth for our annual Xmas shopping trip and the food is still garbage!!! Cooked the bast it could be by the poor chef who has to work with the most shi t of ingredients from the cheapest of places. Sausages seem to be even worse than last year!!! Overall something that should be really enjoyable is just utter cra p. Won't be doing it next year.

A new eatery was tried. As both my wife and myself enjoyed our large bacon bap, and latte. The seating was nice and comfy. Prices were really very reasonable and affordable. Servi e was as good as one would expect in a busy place. As you simply place your order at the counter, you're hi en a numbered plastic tab, you find a place to sit. Then when your order is ready, a staff member looks for your tab number by calling it out. Which is quite 'old fashioned', but highly effective. The human touch. The Oggy Oggy is pristene, modern, clean and efficient. As all the staff do their best so as to ensure customer satisfaction with a friendly smile. Do a visit folks. It's well worth it.👍👍👍👍

Bad service and bad quality. A real shame as the young girl at the front I think her name was Mara with black hair think she said she was new, she was the only one trying to organise the staff and apologising for the waiting times m. It wasn’t busy and there were 4-5 members of staff on, the senior members were silent and when I asked about my cappuccino I got told ‘there’s two teas over there’ I then watched the senior member of staff talk rudely to the new girl about the large coffee and cappuccino as if this was her fault. I received no communication, milk was burnt in my coffee and my yum yum was stale as expected as for some reason the baked goods are always stale from ioggy oggy.nearly late for my coach and this experience made me anxious won’t be back

I was on my way back to London from Newquay and the bus stopped in Plymouth for 30 minutes. My friends and I popped in Oggy Oggy Pasty in a rush to get a snack. I went for the counter and the lady asked if it was takeway and I said no, but was on a rush. She told me to sit and service would come. We waited and waited... The place wasn't even busy! Eventually a lady came and took our orders. I ordered tuna & sweetcorn sandwich and orange juice. Again we waited and waited and eventually I got a tuna sandwich - not exactly what I had ordered! I couldn't wait to send it back and wouldn't have time to debate. So I asked for a takeway box and went to the counter to pay: £6.40!!! For a measly tuna sandwich! To start with the customer service is terrible, some of the staff there make you feel very intimidated by staring at you, I also feel that staff are rude by their body language such as hands in pocket, having conversations with other staff when the customer is speaking to them. I do think the food is good, I squally tend to get a bacon and sausage bap, the quality of this varies depending on whether the bacon is fresh, however I am very appalled with the quantity they give. I paid £2.20 for cheesy chips, the quantity is for a small child aged 5-10 years old, they’re very greasy, oily and tricky to eat, you tend to find their pastries are fresh but everything else is awful!

I heard stories of how amazing and fundamental pasties were to Plymouth from my boyfriend. So, when I came for a visit, we had to have a pasty, I just had to see what it was all about! He took me to Oggy Oggy Pasty Company on the way to the Hoe and Barbican. We both got the beef pasty, and "oh, my sweet stars!" They were wonderful! The location offered different sizes, and fillings. It was so flaky and delicious. It tasted like the beef stews I was used to from the States! We enjoyed them so much, we had to have more [through the whole trip of course! My medium size was so filling!]. I can't recommend Oggy Oggy more highly! It was so good, not just for this first-timer, but for my native boyfriend!

When in Falmouth we made a special trip to try the "award winning" pasties. With eager anticipation we bought our pasties fresh out of the oven and found ourselves a good spot to sit and enjoy them. Sadly, they were very average and had the look and taste of mass produced pasties. They are not the worst pasties around, but certainly no where near the best. They caked seasoning and the meat was over cooked, to the point of turning a little mushy. Unlikely to revisit.

had the full English breakfast which strangely wasn't served with a fried egg all you could have was scrambled, its more hassle and time to do scrambled egg than it is to do a fried egg probably wont be returning because it was nothing special.

Hadn't had a pasty for ages so self and partner popped in here. 1 coffee, one milkshake, two cheese and onion pasty meals. Just shy of £18. waitress barely looked at us, took order then wandered off still writing it down. No acknowledgement of order. Service was properly rubbish. Not a smile between them. Even asking for vinegar seemed to be a massive hassle. Won't be going back.

I visited this shop at lunch time Today Sunday with my 1yr old in a push chair. I ordered a pasty for myself and a hot sausage roll for my son. We went out side and I sat on the chairs outside to feed my son. There was no else sat outside and 2 sat inside but out came the woman that had served me and told me that I could not sit and eat my pasty and feed my son his sausage roll that we had just bought from them because we had not paid the extra to eat in! 1, I was outside not in and 2, I saw no signs saying I had to pay extra. I will not be visiting again and I will be telling my friends not to bother a well.

Always a tasty pastie and always hot just what you need on a really cold day take away or eat in .Wish when they make the steak pastie the meat was through the pastie and not all at one end.If you eat in service is fine there are also tables to eat outside and great you sit down and they come and take your order not like alot of places where you have to queue and then find a table.

Car park was rammed with loads of work vans parked carelessly throughout the carpark, struggled to find a place to park. Once inside, the restaurant was full, probably due to everyone having a 40% discount voucher. Took 10mins for someone to take our drinks order and another 10mins for them to arrive. Food order finally taken and proceeded to take 55 mins for 2 steaks and a plate of ribs to arrive, and this was after we had chased and asked to speak to someone in charge. Ribs were cold and husband refused to have a new meal plated due to time waited. We were there 2 hrs and only 2 of us ended up having 1 medicore course. He did get a free beer, and management finally came and spoke to us. Apparently they don't have any control of their booking system and can't turn it off, so they have to accept bookings even though they know they can't cope with it. Husbands birthday meal was ruined. Felt for staff who seem to not have any local control over the restaurants booking system but we were told they were still taking in walks in. We won't return for a long time, unfortunately, even though it is very local to us

Last year we discovered the unattended converted horse box near Devonport Park but in January we found the established shop/cafe in Albert Road. Very friendly and good selection of food all home baked. We think round the back of this cafe.
