Food 4 U in Plymouth

since two pound increase in minimum wages they lowered volume of food serverd in kebabs and did not say anything about it. competition is so low in plymouth the able to do that

Great kebabs and open very late!

Must have been busy, as normally when I order it’s great. This wasn’t as good as normal, my bun for the combo was burnt a little and crispier than normal in certain parts. Was still ok but not amazing as usual. Hopefully next time will be better.

Spot on as always top delivery service and great food.

original delivery was for 8.15pm. Had text to say it would then be 8.45pm but didn't arrive until 9.20pm

By far one of the best delivery food services I use. Have used them loads over time normally always early and get the order spot on.

Really complicated my evening. Pretty gutted. If they had given reasonable and fair delivery estimates instead of humouring justeat metrics, I wouldn't have ordered from them. It's cleary been in transit for far too long too. Waste of time and money.

8 years and this place has always been my number 1. Fact. Theirs a KEBAB shop 2 mins walk from my house but Food4U is just so much better so I would order from them as my preference. Best in Plymouth

Very late. But that doesn't matter. Probably the worst food I have ever had in my life. Chicken and potatoes had obviously been lying for far too long. Nasty. Avoid. If I was able to give minus stars I would. It was the most unpleasant meal ever .

Not happy tried to call as my food was really cold and my chips was overcooked and keybab meat was overcooked I asked if someone could possibly send me out another one they refused to after I already stated it was not edible would not recommend this place

Used food 4 u for years it’s the best take away in Plymouth

due to signal miss delivery I rang the guy in the shop explained about the signal and he understood and agreed as was still poor connection. Due to me not answering phone the delivery guy was rude stated that he would leave it outside if I didn’t answer next time I apologised but was still being rude towards myself I stated look I’m a customer you shouldn’t speak to people in a temper/ agitated mood. I apologise again but he still carried on. walked away.

Ordered through Uber eats, after an hour which I thought was a reasonable time since ordering gone midnight but my food hasn’t arrived so requested a new estimated delivery time through Uber eats, the store never responded, so I call the store. I’m greeted with the most unpleasant WHAT in an aggressive tone. After explaining my situation I’m screamed at to call back not on no caller ID I apologise for this and said I can give them my number if it’s easier then hanging up and calling again, there was no response and the man hung up on me. I put my caller ID on and call back like they asked again I’m greeted with the unpleasant aggressive WHAT, I explain I just called and calling back like requested. After taking a few more details like where I live and how I ordered he screams at me to Wait, for about five minutes I’m sat with no one talking and can hear aggressive screaming in a foreign language, he comes back and says the driver went home good bye and hung up. So about ten minutes later I call back he screams at me to stop calling I asked him not to raise his voice at me and asked if we can sort this issue out, not once was an apology made and he just hung up once again. Since my number has been blocked and no food arrived at my door.

not sure what's going on as the food is usually good but it has gone down in my estimation now, driver was rude food was cold and late and tasted funny

extra cheese was paid for but missing, kebab meat dried out, chips soggy, flavour ok, not great but had worse, above average price for below average food. Will avoid in future.

Called up because ordered chips and hot wings combo didn't get the chips RESTARAUNT said they was delivering and haven't! never ever had a issue till now with this place

this is the second time I have ordered from here the food was hot and amazing value for money, the best spicy spuds in the land, I ordered from the Same shop for over 22 years now this is my my new favourite.

Got home to find my butter wasnt at all melted in my garlic bread. Was v cold even tho I live two minutes away and was wayyyyy to garlicy. Has to pop it in the microwave.

Been regular customer for years. However quality has declined rapidly..either very good or really grim. I dared to complain as I recognised guy who gave ma previously dreadful kebab. Large lamb shish. Burnt meat incorrect sauce salad at its minimalist. Ok shop full of people. Didn’t plan on complaining but I saw a terrible kebab served out to guy in front.. thrown together dreadfully small portion.. so I flipped rather and told the guy straight... tha boss waited until shop emptied and advised me straight I shouldn’t complain in front of other people!!! REALLY!!!!!????gave me freebie donner as compensation. This was heavily burnt therefore I threw away...,, LOST A REGULAR CUSTOMER.. NEVER AGAIN... BRITS DONT LIKE TO COMPLAIN WITHOUT CAUSE... suggest you learn and internalise our culture.... too many substandard meals for my liking!!!! Be VERY AWARE AND DONT DARE COMPLAIN!!!!!!Also strange that people from overseas arrive here with a superior attitude telling us how to behave whilst complaining regarding food quality. Food was nice although i did order cheesy chips which you wouldn’t think so with the lack of cheese good job the chips were nice

We really enjoyed this order. The chips were crispy perfection. The burgers were delicious! Pleased that the lettuce/salad in the burgers was crisp rather than stewed.

Food was cold and rubbery. Really dry too, we didn't eat it in the end. And the chicken was undercooked 😬

Fantastic as always. I always order from these guys and can honestly say I've never had a bad experience in 7 years.

Ordered food via uber eats, order was accepted and even updated as on its way. I waited 90 minutes past the latest delivery time - still no food. I have tried calling over 20 times and the line is engaged. Disappointed.

Food is always great from here. Just was a little dissatisfied that only the spicy spuds in the combo meal didn’t get any sauce on them, but that didn’t take away for the food being tasty just did hit the spot like it would have with the sauce added. Will always say to order from here you won’t regret it.

Best ever shish kebab was yummy and fresh salad, chicken burger was delicious, spuds was yummy but chips wasn't very nice

I like how quick they respond to taking your orders unfortunately no good space for customers to wait for the order. I tried their special which includes chicken and lamb doner and shish, salad, pittas (bread-like), and sauce of choice...I would give the food a 4 star because it taste really good. But if you like spicy food like I do then you might want to rethink as its not spicy enough even with the chili sauce.

Can't believe how good the pizza is here for the price. Definitely recomend.

They advertise delivery in 35 - 50 minutes which is still long considering the food is already cooked and just needs putting in a box. As for the food itself it was like they'd taken leftovers out of the bin and sent it out which was disappointing and not of the usual quality.

All I ask for is a cheese burger and it always takes over 20 minutes and comes out almost burnt so i’m not understanding.

My partner ask for 9in bq chicken with just ham and bq sauce when done on the top of the pizza we didn't get that tonight she is so angry that she didn't get that at all and order small spicy spuds with bq sauce on top all she got was a dollop of sauce on the spuds not ordering from here again
