Amazing food , NOT GREASY. DELICIOUS

Maddi's kebab has replaced the awful place that was there before and it's amazing!! Good food, even better staff!! Definitely worth a visit.

I have had takeaway from here a couple of times since it reopened under a new owner a few weeks ago. The place has been completely renovated and is clean with welcoming staff. Quality salad with my doner and the garlic mushrooms were delicious.

Got a kebab from here tonight and it was great,staff was really friendly and the place looked nice and clean.

Maddi's Kebab and Pizza has replaced Albert Kebabs and it is definitely worth a visit. Under the new management the place is clean, has friendly staff and a very good atmosphere. When me and my partner saw the prices we had to give it a chance and Maddi's definitely delivered! The food was incredible for extremely good prices, I 10/10 suggest trying this place for your next take away!

Think this has to be one of the worst kebabs I’ve had took 2 hours nearly for delivery and food was absolutely disgusting got the order work as well, please avoid this place

Ordered chips with salt and vinegar garlic mayo got cold chips only Donner kebab Ordered pita bread was just thrown in the bag Either got Donner which I asked for shredded like pulled pork or gave me chicken which I did not ask for Will never use again

The calzone was as flat as my dead cat no filling absolutely disgusting never again would I order from this bando of a takeaway

Kebab meat was like a pigeon, asked for coleslaw got half a box

Pizza was OK, special shish kebab was awful. Will not be going back

I had chips sausage an curry sauce an it was disgusting the sauce was like water an the pit it came in was so small chips was frozen not , it had no taste an for the price i paid was a right rip off wont be going there again the chips was not even cooked proper pale an hell dont recommend this place at all

I ordered on Deliveroo, it came early but the man who delivered it was so loud, shouting outside my house on the phone. And shouting at me through the window telling me the food was outside, he woke the children up. Was not happy with that. I couldn’t track it either. He could’ve rang me when outside as he had my phone number. The food wasn’t the best, it was bland, not much sauce on kebab, and the spicy spuds were dry and tasted like they were sat under the lamp for hours. Don’t recommend.

This pizza literally has taste if you like pizza please don't order from here cost 55 pounds and is nasty

Terrible sorry, food turned up 45 minutes late. Worst kebeb I've had completely bland I had to put my own mayo on it to get some taste out of it the same with the coleslaw, my wife's pizza wasn't much better, sorry but will go somewhere else next time

Unfortunately after using this business regularly for at least ten years , we will be voting with our feet and we will be ordering from somewhere else in future. Food arrived over 45 minutes late Delivery drive walked up street with out a care in the world,saying couldn’t find your house !!! No apology what so ever Sorry you have been coming here for years . To top it off the food was stone cold and minging , went in the BIN .Food and delivery services has slowly got worse & worse over the years from this company To night was the final straw . NOT GOOD ENOUGH SERVICE Another £28 down the drain . Good bye Albert road kebab house .

It was on the way back to my ship after a sesh, had a couple of burgers from them and they were tasty enuf. So no complaints on that basis.

Absolutely vile place , ordered a kebab and came with 6 strips of meat and basically a full tray of salad

Dirty shop food on walls and floor oily rags next to food which was uncovered. Had a couple of kebabs which were pretty tasteless and the meat was dry like it had been sat in the bain Marie for a week. Definitely would not recommend and most certainly will not be eating from there again . Have given 1 star as unable to give 0

Ordered for the first and last time ,the spicy spuds i ordered were completely burned so they were bined! Chicken doner kebab wasnt nice at all either ,completely waste of money

Literally ordered the simplest order of chicken nuggets and chips and they forgot my chips. Then wouldn’t send any more out.. ridiculous

I love chilli sauce on my Donner but Jesus, after 2 bites my mouth was on 🔥. The meat was sliced so thin you could see through it.and there wasn't much meat .

Ordered on just eat and accidentally put the wrong address in when contacted by the driver I explained what had happened and that I had put the wrong address and said the real address is on around the corner he proceeded to tell me I had to pay £2.50 for delivery, I explained this was not okay as that is the price from the shop he got angry and was very rude. When delivered he proceeded to say that we were a joke. When eating the cake it was frozen. Awful

Order came half an hour later than ETA. Pizza was average at best, not much sauce, and very thick dough meant it was pretty dry. Kebab challenge was very good though, tasty meat, good texture, decent chips and fun to have a takeaway food challenge!

This was the worst takeaway I’ve ever had. Not only did it take an hour longer then expected when it came it tasted foul. I ordered the America burger. I couldn’t eat it with my hands as the meat was that tough my teeth couldn’t cut through it so I resorted to a knife and fork. The knife cut through the takeaway container easier then the patty. It’s looked as if the so called chef had thrown the ingredients into the Box from a distance whilst blindfolded and then proceeded to take the full box and have a game of heads and volleys with it in the car park. I had three bites of this burger and couldn’t stomach anymore despite being incredibly hungry. It has been 15 minutes since eating and my stomach already feels as if tomorrow the world will fall out of the back of me. Will never ever eat a morsel from this place again. You couldn’t pay me.

Began an order in the shop and unfortunately was put off actually completing my order. The place is absolutely filthy, rubbish everywhere that you can see out back and the hygiene of the person's working that was poor to say the least. Avoid at all costs.

So quick 15 mins food arrived the lady driver was so polite and Kind food cheeseburger and chips was clean and tasted nice apart from chicken being a bit pink all good will order again:)

Would not recommend fish and chips. Firstly its fries not chips and fish tasted like it was from the local Iceland. Def not fresh and not fresh batter. Totally disappointed.

Worst food ever spuds was hard and cold the chicken burger looked like it was brought from a supermarket and the burger was horrible will not waste money again.........

Last 2 times I've ordered and tonite being one of those times they have messed up my order, there was no sauce on my kebab again and hardly any salad, colslaw was not as nice either , meat was dry and tasted really different from before. Not as meaty as previous times, seems to be going down hill, used to always order from here, but won't be again

Just spent £15 here on 2 kebabs. The worst kebabs we’ve ever had and after 2 bites we put them both in the bin. Meat was chewy and absolutely disgusting, would even feed it to a dog. Don’t order from here, trust me. 🤢🤮🤢🤮🤢🤮🤢

Mi amigo y yo pedimos fichas desde aquí alrededor de Navidad y si recuerdo correctamente pagué alrededor de 3 + por una fichas grandes y la grande es el tamaño de la mayoría de los lugares pequeños. La calidad de las papas fritas era extremadamente pobre, estamos hablando empapados, delgados, flojos, usted podría mejorar su horno en casa con un poco de ayuda del Sr. Mccains. Eran incomibles. Una pena porque he oído que las hamburguesas aquí son encantadoras. Aunque personalmente no volveré a ordenar desde aquí.

I've been using this shop for years,and several different owners. It seems to be under different management yet again and the prices have noticeably been boosted. The Kebabs are good,the fish and chips disappointing and you don't get much for your money. Staff very friendly and efficient.

Since the new owners took over the place has gone really downhill. Food is awful. I won't be going back.

1hour 40min for our delivery. Poor customer service owner hung up on my husband when he rang to ask. Food finally turned up and the drinks were incorrect shame as this used to be a lovely place. But the delivery driver was the original and he's lovely

Large chips at £2.70? The new management are laughing. Large chips was equivalent to an average cone of chips. Utterly disgusting thievery. I hope the guys who run it can look at themselves in the mirror. Now to find something for the kids tea having been swindled.

We have been huge fans Albert Road chippy for 15+ years - deivery is fast and free, the food is always piping hot, you get plenty of chps, and the fish is beautiful - moist and flaky. Last night, having spent the entire day binge watching the world cup, we decided to have our weekly treat. Since they know us by name, my husband was a bit surprised when the guy who took our order on the phone asked for directions to our house, but was told it was a new driver. When the food arrived, it became VERY clear that it is also under new management. The chips very nice, but there was not very many of them, and the fish portions were literally TINY - literally the size of two fish fingers stuck together., Not only that, but they were overcooked and dry. I'm so sad as this has been or family go-to for years - not any more!

Kebabs are good chips good fish not too good burgers not too good but staff are amazing & friendly

More toward the top end of Albert Road, clean and friendly, parking on street, reasonably priced and fairly quick.

Perfect, lovely gentlemen and the best kebabs in the town. Their 'Hot-shot' pizza is immense too!

Lovely food but needs to not over cool sausages and then batter them with undercooked batter and the already cooked sausages are then cremated.

Love the food here! Would strongly recommend a donner kebab with extra coleslaw and extra garlic mayo, no other kebab compares to theirs and lucky for us they are our neighbours, and will always help you out if your car brakes down, friendly service and a great bunch of staff! If the food arrives fresh and still hot it's good just don't order on a Friday after 8pm it takes over 50 minutes for it to arrive cold and in a carrier bag instead of the heat bag and it's all mixed up as if it was dropped a few time as well as the order being slightly wrong.

Absolutely stunning kebabs, lovly juicey lamb donner meat, home-made coleslaw, tikka flavour chicken donner meat, perfectly charcoal grilled shish meat and burgers, beautiful chip shop style chips, really tasty fish & lovely pizzas! Deliverys are always fast and food has never arrived cold. SPANKING! 10/10
