The best restaurants in Clevedon Central North Somerset South West

We was just passing didn't even realise it was just a Sunday lunch but had already sat down and ordered drinks so decided to stay and eat and we was very glad we did they staff are friendly the food was excellent definitely go back.

Excellent Thai street food. A real asset for Clevedon. Ordered by telephone and delivered. The Green Thai curry was one of the best I have eaten. First of many takeaways I will have from Nim’s Thai Kitchen.

We visited the pier and then decided to walk into the town for a browse . On the main High Street was walked past this eatery then double back to look at the menu. It was very busy inside and my moto is if it’s good for the locals it’s good for us . We found the only table available as some were reserved. After looking at the menu we ordered our drinks and food , we ordered bake potato with prawns and salad and I went for two fried eggs ,two sausages and chips . Well we were highly delighted when our order arrived, I will let the photos do the talking . Great staff , clean cafe and lovely atmosphere to eat in. Pricing was very good and we would definitely come again when in the area.

Family visited this restaurant firstly we are all curry enthusiasts and know a good curry So this is an honest review from all The mogul is quite a small restaurant on entering we noticed no food rating stars on window or door so on checking found it was only a 3 star ? Although the seating area was clean the toilets especially the females looked as if it hadn't been cleaned for quite a while as lots of grime and soap scum covered the taps and sink there was nothing to dry your hands either with only a 3 star rating I can only imagine what the kitchen was like Ok now the food and service The one waiter was attentive and nothing was to much trouble however as for the food The onion barghee I had for an appitiser was totally tasteless not even a hint of spice or zing my other members of the family who had samosas and other various appitisers also agreed although the portions were generous their was just no taste As for the mains I opted for a lamb dansak which again came as a generous portion the lamb was tasty and tender but again the sauce or gravy let it down all four other family members had different meals but again admitted that while all portions were generous as for taste wise a big let down Will I come hear again NO

Unfortunate experience. Went with friends last night (4 of us) and ordered starters and mains. With the starters, 2 of our group had some pieces of chicken where the texture was unpleasant and again with the main where 3 of us had the same issue (my husband having to remove a piece from his mouth and putting it to the side) - to the point where we were put off of finishing our meal. I have to say that the taste of everything else was lovely. We informed our waiter about our issue when they cleared our plates and again when paying. At no point were we expecting a reduction in the bill but felt it important to say, as this might be why they don't appear to have many customers. However, the staff took offence, became aggressive in their tone and for some strange reason implied that we were not regular customers. They disputed what we had to say - even bringing out a piece of cooked chicken from the kitchen and cutting it up 'to show there was nothing wrong with it'. They would not recognise that we had left a substantial part of our meals because of the chickens texture. They did not believe what we had to say and accused us of wanting a free meal - at no point did we refuse to pay or ask for money to be taken off. We settled the bill in full but want to bring it to everyone's attention that this is really not the way to treat customers.

I am Vegan and gluten intolerant. The Lounges are a brilliant chain of restaurants for me. I always enjoy my meal.

Thank you Bengal Spice. Ordered a takeaway this evening and it was lovely as always. The chicken was perfect as was the sauce and rice. Our favourite takeaway.

Mixed bag. Firstly, the food was possibly the best food we’ve had at The Langford, I’m not sure if the chef has changed but the food was incredibly well cooked. However the staff seemed very disorganised. When we arrived I was unsure whether our booking was on their system, one waitress walked off and left us before a waiter took us to our table. It took a long time (felt like 15mins) for our drinks order to be taken and longer still for our food order. The food itself took a long time to arrive and 1hr 45mins after we arrived we were still sat with dirty plates from our main and only course. We had wanted a dessert but instead came home and ate ice cream from the freezer. Generally it was relaxed and quiet inside, Lots of empty tables, but the staff had dropped the ball compared to previous visits. It didn’t feel welcoming and the waits were a bit too long.

If I could give it six, I would. Superb food; I had chicken tikka biryani and it was a delight. Full of flavour and the rice was perfectly cooked. My wife had king prawn korma and loved it. We shared sag aloo and loved it. The staff were friendly and helpful. All in all, a delightful experience.

The food was fantastic I’ve never had pub food this delicious very pub I’ve been to they just slap the food on the place you can definitely tell they put effort in the food they send out 10/10 would come again highly recommend this place

Me and my boyfriend was looking to have a Chinese who delivered to Portishead we ordered from here and absolutely gorgeous all the food was hot and lovely food, would definitely recommend

Popped in here for a pot of tea with my friends after basking in the sun at the beach. Quick, friendly service and a broad range of drinks to choose from. Our visit was memorable due to ongoings outside in the square, which kept us entertained for hours!

Absolutely outrageous service w just eat said I could order on the app and I ordered food only to find out when I got to o yes the whole place was completely shut down and just eat won’t issue me a refund and then later that week I ordered again in store last night and I got told it would be 15 minutes I went back to o yes 15 minutes later only to find out my food had been given to someone else instead of me who ordered it for that time instead I had to wait an extra 15 minutes for another burger to be cooked fresh and consequently ended up paying double the price of a taxi cos of the wait time waiting for the food to be made again after all of this they still haven’t offered me anything in return to say sorry which is deeply disheartening in a business as I’ve been a customer there for over a year and suddenly standards have seemed to dropped massively and won’t ever be returning due to an absolute shambles of a business and do not recommended to anyone
