Excellent value for money and very helpful staff. We were a party of seven. We all ordered separately and had several special requests all of which were handled successfully with a smile.

Located next to Lidl on the main road, we spotted Teatro as we drove by initially thinking it was a tea shop. We managed to find parking in a nearby residential side road but be aware there isn't any parking for the venue itself. When we entered, we were met with a surprise. Not just a tea shop but a surprisingly big quirky lively bar/restaurant/coffee and tea shop rolled into one. Set out over 2 floors with an outside terrace area upstairs and lots of different seating areas. Visually, it was amazing. Arty, fun colourful. I noticed all ages. Families with children well catered for as well as older people. It's accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs on the ground floor, but a flight of stairs is needed to access the first floor. I took my 84 year old Mum who uses a walking aid, and she loved it at Teatro. It was clearly hugely popular but we managed to locate a table in the window from which we could watch all the comings and goings. There are also tables outside, although expect a view of the road and traffic noise from steady stream if cars and shoppers coming and going from Lidls next door. Staff very friendly, but they seemed very stretched and were running around trying to see to everyone. It was a weekend, and lots of people had descended for lunch. Being gluten-free, i was given a specific menu, which was helpful, and overall, I found the staff attentive to any kind of allergies, if a bit anxious. I had to order at the bar rather than have my order taken at the table, which meant waiting in a queue. We waited some time for our order to arrive, but when it came, the food was good. However, my hummus order came with an enormous helping of hummus (nice) but very little bread to go with it. Drinks were all good, and there's a wide range to choose from, including cocktails. I had a non alcoholic one, which was very tasty and refreshing. The menu is worth a visit and caters to all, including vegetarians, vegan children, and guests with allergies. There's a range of tapas and burgers, too. It's the kind of place that's informal but fun. You can just as easily order a cuppa and cake as you can a full meal. Prices are good, and our lunch for 2 with drinks came in at £22. We would like to visit again. The main drawbacks are lack of parking and what seemed like a lack of sufficient staff, which led to delays. However, I would add that the staff on that day were helpful despite being rushed off their feet. We would visit again, though.

We used to visit quite often, but on our last visit 9-10-2024, we decided to have a chicken flatbread. It arrived and looked reasonable, but was still frozen at the center. I took it back and 20 minutes later another flatbread arrived. Tasted bland. No apology, just disinterest. Will not go again.

Been here a few times and every time it has been short staffed who are badly trained. The tables are always dirty and sticky along with the glasses. Never again

Has to be the worst lounge of all been twice now and had to wait an hour for a basic breakfast terrible service went to the bar asking where are food is and it still took another half hour

The place was almost empty. We waited to be seated but all of the many staff avoided our eyes. We had some questions but no one spoke to us. We left. We have been to other restaurants from this company and had great experiences (Harborne for example). The staff need to be trained in customer service.

We booked a table for 6 persons and on arrival staff were rude and unhelpful. We got the impression that they didn’t care if we stayed or left. After ordering via the app the food arrived in bits, it was a joke with 1 meal arriving, then 25 minutes later 2 more and the over an hour the remaining 3 meals. Drinks were very slow to arrive and when asked what was going on with our order, we were told that they were busy! Food was messy and cold. Not the best impression sadly but won’t be returning.

every time i go, which has been many, the food is absolutely delicious, the staff are kind and the drinks are tasty. it is a very high standard and i will always choose here if i go out for food or drinks

Perfect spot to catch up with friends and enjoy a cozy meal. The lounge's interior design is colourful and interestesting. There is lots of artwork. A nice variety of foods to pick from, plus lots of fruity drinks and brews.

Fantastic food and great service

Food was ok, but the kids meal was out of breadsticks and juice, and the rest of the party who were ordering after me didn’t eat as they were out of vegan bacon, broccoli and so didn’t leave them with much other choice. Staff were friendly though, but food took a long time to come and they only mentioned they were out of broccoli and breadsticks after 45 mins of waiting for the food. Also, the plastic kids cups were dirty so had to replace for a glass.

Beautiful spot to enjoy your food or drink. Good service and quite a good variety of products. You should be familiar with technology as orders are placed through an app. The prices are as expected.

We are in town visiting family and walk by here all the time so finally decided to try a meal. Other pubs in town offer the same sort of fried meals and we wanted something different and hopefully a good salad. Teatro came through with their varied menu and we all found something we loved. The mezze salad was fantastic. I also love the atmosphere here and the cozy feel with all the artwork on the walls, the wallpaper, the chandeliers, etc. We are happy to have this just around the corner when we visit.

Salad was aweful, not fresh. Burger was ok, not as good as last time! Cherry cider sold out :( Long wait for food. Extremely loud music!!!

Weird service all computerized.

Having given Teatro good reviews in the past, sadly it has had its day. I have eaten there a few times recently and the service and especially the food has gone down substantially. I often pop in before going to the cinema but no more. The bang bang chicken was inedible, it had obviously been heated up in the microwave!! The chicken had been cooked to oblivion and you couldn’t eat it as it was so rubbery, my wife tried a piece and agreed. We hadn’t had the obligatory Is Everything Alright so tried to get some attention, unfortunately none was forthcoming. As the food had taken a while in the first place it was time to leave, as we stood up one of the staff came over to clear the table and asked if we enjoyed our meal? To my surprise my wife said the chicken was absolutely disgusting (a rare event because she never complains !!! We were offered drinks as an apology but it was time for the film and the damage was done. Having sending an email to their head office to let them know about the poor performance I have had no response. Consequently I will not be using this restaurant again.

Pleasant and relaxing place to meet for lunch or just a coffee. Plenty of room inside with just a few outside ( for smokers I guess). Very dog friendly. Recommend the Buddah Bowl or in the other dietary direction, a bacon sandwich!

One of my favourite places to eat! Lovely food and drinks with a great menu selection. Great cocktails also. Always a good atmosphere. I have been here many times and have never been disappointed

Ordered a cappuccino and an orange juice. After ten minutes a waitress walked past and asked me if I’d ordered an orange juice so I replied, an orange juice and a coffee. To which she looked at her tray and walked off around the tables. Eventually she put the orange juice on the bar. When I’d waited for twenty minutes I went back up to the counter and asked where my drinks were. One girl pointed to the glass of orange juice on the bar and said there’s your orange juice, she then asked the girl making the drinks, if a cappuccino sat on the bar was mine. She said yeah probably, but it’s been there fifteen minutes. I cleared up and stacked the dirty crockery on my own table. After ten minutes a young lad came and cleared half of it. Then when my drinks eventually arrived, the waitress took the other half. The table still hasn’t been wiped and has someone else’s crumbs over it. A thumbs down from me today and it’s not particularly busy. Which is a shame.

Our local Lounge, and an easy spot to bring the kids and grandparents. On our latest visit my fussy husband enjoyed the new Chicken Kyiv burger, my dad enjoyed his big breakfast and my daughter thinks they do the best cheesey pasta (Mac and cheese). I didn’t get as much chilli as usual and our drinks came slightly after the food, but it was a Saturday lunch time and very busy so I wasn’t too bothered 🤷🏼‍♀️ It’s in a great location, there’s a lot of space and the menu has something for everyone so I know we’ll be back very soon!

Always enjoy a visit to Teatros. You can always get either an oat, soya, or coconut latte here. Whereas a couple of places in Clevedon don't always have the option. The food has been nice, when I have eaten at Teatros. The staff are always so friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is always relaxing and welcoming.

This chain is normally spot on, the variety and flavours are normally exceptional. Clevedon has definitely gone down hill, significantly. Overcooked, dry and served cold. Across 4 people, not one meal was on point, compounded by lack luster service Real shame

Four of us were visiting Clevedon and found this place which was ideally located. Friendly and polite servers .I had Sausage & Egg Breakfast Muffin with 2 hash browns and others had Fish Finger Sandwiches, Twisted Chicken Club Ciabatta with added fries, cappuccino and 3 flat whites .Food looked really appetising and was very tasty. Flat whites top notch . Overall excellent

We've eaten here quite a few times, always great food and lovely staff. It was particularly good tonight due to the lovely guy who served our drinks and cleared the table - didn't catch his name but he was wearing shorts and has green in his hair. He was so nice our kids asked us to make sure we post a good review !

The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We were there for just over an hour and there were a number of tables set up for an art class that were empty for all but the last 5 minutes we were there, whilst there we saw a large number of people looking for a table but were unable to due to these being unavailable. It's a shame to have lost so many customers.

Came here because our fav cafe was shut. Was glad to see the sign outside about board games ... This would rescue our afternoon special outing. Ordered some puddings and sought out games. Unfortunately monopoly was already in use and the two games we tried had missing pieces and weren't fit for purpose. Staff reacted to the question about whether there were any other board games available as if I'd asked for a dinglehopper. Unimpressed ... At least take it off the sign ... False advertising! At least the cakes were nice. Left after 20 mins. Hopes and expectations not fully met.

Upon entering the staff were so friendly, polite and helpful. It was busy and thankfully we managed to find a table, as soon as sat someone was quick to bring a physical menu even though u can view it online when ordering which was a nice touch. Ordering online was easy and quick and the food was really nice when it arrived. Very well presented and of good quality. I would definitely recommend eating here. I must say the workers do an excellent job with a smile on their face.

The restaurant has redeemed itself after my first, and disappointing, visit just after xmas when (the restaurant explained) the stocks were low and we couldn't have anything we wanted. This time we returned for brunch after Parkrun. loved it! Staff were great, breakfast was plentiful and really nice. We'll be going back.

Easily the best breakfast in clevedon, and I have tried most, but always return to the Teatro lounge because of the quality, size and choice of dishes. Ordering from your table via the app is painless, the staff are polite, cheerful and attentive. The waiting time was no longer than you would expect from a fairly busy restaurant and everything came out cooked to perfection

It's a very pleasant place with an interesting selection of food and drinks. There is no pressure to get out when finished.

An awful customer experience standing at the bar waiting to be served whilst all the staff behind the bar dealt with app orders. No engagement, no idea how long I might be waiting, so eventually I gave up through boredom.

Customers that arrived after me were given their orders before us. 25 min wait for a coffee in a place that was not even at 60 % compacity.

Popped in on the off chance for some breakfast during the Xmass period.It was busy with lots of reserved signs up . Waiting staff really freindly, food was hot & tasty also a seating area upstairs. Also if wanted, you can order/pay from the app at your table. You can not reserve a table unless you phone through. No parking onsite local free parking only a couple minutes walk away.

We've walked and driven past the Teatro Lounge in Clevedon frequently but never stopped by for refreshments before. What a pleasant surprise it was! The themed interior oozed chic style and the atmosphere was warm and charming. Staff were friendly and efficient and the coffee was excellent. We'll be back.

Great vegan menu :-) - NO Vegan food :-( Went there 12 jan 23 in the early evening wife ordered starter bang bang cauliflower and another vegan starter out of the 3. Both unavailable, cauliflower main also not available.

Food wasn’t bad but there are loads of dogs running around which is obviously not pleasant nor hygienic. Shame, otherwise nice.

A frustrating visit if I’m honest. They didn’t have the food we wanted and then they didn’t have the drinks we wanted either. We picked alternatives and they were good. And the staff were all excellent throughout so no complaints there. Frustrated because this looks to be a great venue (really close to a brilliant cinema) and this was my first visit. I will go back though.

Food is nice, staff are friendly and attentive. Shame the company only offers zero hour contracts and can change staff working hours with no notice. Quite shameful really. I feel for the staff and for this reason will not be visiting any lounge bars again

Teatro Lounge is becoming a popular stop off for lunch for us. Always guaranteed good food in a good atmosphere. Staff are always friendly andhelpful. It is very popular so if you're pushedfor time book a table.

This is a bar/restaurant for casual dining. Great food, however depending on your luck you may get a quiet dining experience or mixed in with other loud groups. Better for breakfast or lunch where it tends to be quieter.

Visited Thurs 8th Dec for the first time. I have been many of the Lounge bars due to the gluten free menu, and the staff in Clevedon were excellent . First question when ordering food was a question about allergies which makes me feel in safe hands with my gluten free allergy. Great service which I don't normally come across.

Another fantastic Loungers venue, yummy food, friendly staff and excellent boutique decor. This one is especially quirky being part of the Curzon building, and excellently located close to multiple car parks.

I've been to Teatros parent group a couple of times and Teatro staff are just amazing. I felt so comfortable and there are great offers! One staff member today even moved a table for me as I couldn’t, as I was breast feeding. The Mums and Dad's in the parent group are lovely and the activities are fun! I would really recommend Teatro for its atmosphere, deals and lovely food and drink!

I visit most Mondays for the Parent and Baby group and regularly take family here too. It is just the most welcoming Lounges venue with a great family friendly atmosphere. There is even good bay changing facilities!! The food is great, all the staff are fantastic and we love how they are putting on community events.

Good food pleasent staff great atmosphere

Nice surroundings and tables were cleared quickly. The food was lovely - although they had sold out of one of the mains we initially requested. I interacted with four staff members on our visit, and they were all helpful, friendly & polite.

Popped in for dinner and had tapas. Ok the positives - it tasted nice. The negatives? Well knock me down sideways, this was the smallest portion of food I've ever had. Had I morphed into Thumbelina? No I'm a full grown man who was hungry so I ordered a pudding. Brownie with ice cream. Well my partner ordered a brownie without icecream for half the price. Did they scoop my icecream with a teaspoon?! What a ripoff. Nice food, minuscule portions = one hungry fully grown human adult.

Online cake order, half out of stock on collection. System needs some attention. Ordered just under an hour before opening time and stock allowed to sell out. They had a whole 4 hours to ensure my order was complete.
