Ok breakfast very pricy considering it was cheap sausages and tinned mushrooms Expected it to be local produce, the place is beautifully decorated tho and staff were friendly

Our go-to in Nailsea. We don’t even live there and have made trips just for some good grub, nice coffee and friendly staff. Good quality and portions for a reasonable price.

Popped in while waiting for my car to be MoT`d, ordered my food , then saw the reviews complaining about the long waits. I needn't have been worried, as my drink was bought to my table within minutes with food following 10 mins later. I found service to be excellent, with very friendly staff (who were doing an amazing job on the hottest day of the year) and really nice food too. Definitely worth a visit !

After hearing really good things about this cafe I was excited to try it out. However, the food we ordered took at nearly an hour so i think we may have been forgotten about. We ordered an eggs Benedict and the poached eggs were so watery I had to send it back. The staff were nice enough about it but I don’t think I’d recommend or go again unfortunately. Quite pricey for the quality of the food

Although there is no fancy decoration, the environment is comfortable, the attitude of the waiters is very friendly, and there are many kinds of food to choose from. I recommend it immediately.

Service not great. 4 employees just milling around by the coffee machine while customers were piling up. Pizzas supposed to be served from 12pm, but was told that there were no pizzas as "we haven't turned the pizza ovens on." How about turning the oven on instead of doing half a job‽ Coffee was scorched and bitter. Interior decoration appears to be a cross between a man cave and a warehouse. Food when it came was absolutely delicious, and our waitress was friendly and professional whilst serving us

Popped in here for a late breakfast. It was one of the best I’ve ever eaten. Good tasty ingredients, well cooked. Good coffee too. Friendly staff and nice surroundings. I will definitely be returning.

We called in to Cafe 119, Station Road, Nailsea, for elevenses on a weekday morning and found the diner to be busy and lively. The decor was eclectic but quite homely. We ordered refreshments, which we thought were reasonably priced. The member of staff that took our order gave us a warm welcome and we were soon served at our table.

Good place to go for coffee and food. They seem to have upped their game as before it has been definitely lacking in quality and amount. No more expensive than other places. Overall good place to go and popular.

Lovely food, when we got it. We had to wait at least an hour for our food, but weren't told there would be a delay/wait when ordering. We'd finished our coffees before the food arrived. It was 1.30pm on a Saturday afternoon. Based on this visit, I don't think we'll be back any time soon.

Had lunch here today with my Mum. Lovely place & staff were friendly. However, when you arrive you're met with nothing but this stonking big card on the table telling you to order via the QR code. I input our order & it came to £25 odd. I am not a technical person but it kept asking me to verify payment with my fingerprint. I don't have anything set up to be verified by my fingerprint and I could not get past it. Then Mum noticed a sign on the wall (below 'mind the step") saying you can order at the til!!! Thank goodness. Ordered the exact same things & it was only £20!!! How is that possible? I recommend eating here but ignore the 'App' and get a paper menu and order in person👍

Staff weren’t interactive/happy or helpful. Ordering via the QR code didn’t allow for changes. I asked and was told to add it to the comments section and then it was completely ignored. Then I was felt to feel like it was my fault. My daughter ordered a hot chocolate and they forgot the cream and marshmallows so stuck them on top so it was all overflowing. I won’t be going back.

Difficult with the barcode ordering . Can’t make changes till the end and then they completely ignored them. Staff weren’t helpful or happy. Asked for changes to order (as detailed in the comments section which they asked for initially and they ignored ) and then they just pushed it on the table, no apology. I won’t be going back

The pizza here at 119 is made fresh with good quality ingredients making it taste amazing, the service provided is always good as the staff are really helpful and accommodating and the atmosphere is nice and relaxed with comfortable seating and good natural lighting. Would definitely recommend!

Cafe in the day, we went in the evening for a pizza. Very nice pizzas and burgers, good service and nice atmosphere.

Really disappointing. Granted it was very busy when we visited but there is no excuse for dirty tables, extremely slow service and indifference bordering on rudeness from the staff. Needless to say I will not be returning. In fact the day I was there we both opted to go elsewhere for our coffee after lunch as didn't feel they merited any more of our money

Went last Friday evening. We knew it had a limited menu, but what they do is done well (pizza and burger in our case). Friendly, efficient service and great value. As a bonus, they phoned me following our booking to say they currently do BYO. Recommended.

If this was the cafe I own, I'd first of all offer a very sincere apology and then I'd offer at least a complimentary drink. Sadly, reading from their body language, there wasn't even any attempt or intention to apologize. Well, that's it, we are done completely. This was our first visit and certainly is our last visit.

We reserved a large table for Mothers Day. When we arrived there was no table big enough for us. Half the family had to sit on a different one away from us. It was packed and only had one waitress who was near to tears. The food took an hour and came out and then it came at different times. My Mum was unwell and her Mothers Day treat was a disaster. The owner offered for us to come back in and have a complimentary meal which was so kind. When we went back in he was far from inviting. He argued with us and was so rude. We will never be going there again!

I cannot believe my experience this morning, a total shambles. All set for a nice breakfast and had my coffee delivered in about 15 minutes which was faster than usual. The food well.. I was waiting for over an hour.. People then came in after me, one table I heard they would be next to get there food, and and another actually received their food while I was still waiting. And that's only the tables I could see. Ask for a refund as it had put me off completely. There was no communication from staff to apologise for any delays and to give a reason. Even after the refund was given there was no reason given for this atrocious service. That's me done with the place.

Just called in for a quick coffee. Paid at the counter and waited at an outside table. After twenty minutes, I went to question what had happened. Had they lost the order? “No, we are doing it now, we are very busy.” Five more minutes and it finally arrived. “Sorry for the wait!” Wasn’t worth the wait considering the price! Should’ve gone to Costa!

Brunch was lovely, sat outside drinks and food arrived quickly and were delicious!

Really great cafe. Whilst the usual chains or Costa and Coffee #1 are nearby, I like to support small independents where possible and this was a great find. We’re not residents to the area so have not been here before. Excellent service, great food and lovely drinks too. 10/10 only cafe I have visited in nailsea and it did not disappoint wide variety of food' cold\hot drinks. Quick service waited no longer than 5 minutes for the food' and was as fresh as could be.

The cafe was highly recommended to us, but it had changed hands a short while before. We were told later by local shop keepers that under the previous owners, it was amazing, but since then, it had gone straight downhill. We ordered a full English breakfast and eggs benedictine. We both had a cup of tea. 20 minutes later, we ordered another cup each. After 40 minutes, we asked a waitress what was going on. It took 45 minutes to get our food. By the state of it, I think they must have been cooking it for the whole time. My wife's eggs benedictine were solid. My slice of blood pudding was so solid its only use would have been as a Frisbee or a ninja throwing star. My bacon took crispy to another level. My first and only bite caused the bacon to shatter into shards of plastic like pieces. As we left my wife complained and the member of staff started to suggest a way of making up for it but by that time we were done and trying not to loose our sh*t, and just left. There were a number of staff, all equally as rude and miserable. When trying to order our 2nd cup of tea, a number of members of staff were behind the counter, chatting away. After being ignored for a few minutes, my wife politely asked if someone could take her order. She was told that they would when they were ready and continued to chat for a while. In summary, staff are awful, food takes a ridiculous amount of time, and when it does turn up, it is inedible. And with 2 cups of tea each it cost £28. I'm not one for negative reviews, but I feel I have an obligation to tell everyone to avoid at all costs.

Nice place and cozy atmosphere. Service was friendly but the coffees that we all asked for were all just left on the table for us to all guess whose is whose. I was disappointed with my brunch waffles (with fried chicken on top). It was more so my own fault as I believed they were made in-house but instead they were the store bought waffles with sugar inside and they were a bit dry. Plus with maple syrup on top it made the meal very sweet. If it was home made waffles (with no crunchy sugar inside) then I believed it would have been perfect.

Had a light lunch here (omelette with three fillings) which was fine, The place lacks any real atmosphere, the staff were efficient and friendly a simple menu with a straightforward offering.

A good-sized café in the centre of Nailsea, it appears to occupy a couple of adjacent units and also has some outside seating for the warmer weather. I was only after a coffee and a cake, and the choice was a little disappointing perhaps, with just a small display case on the counter. There was only one sponge for example, a lemon drizzle, so if you’re after a Victoria or a Coffee & Walnut, you’ll be disappointed. I opted for the chocolate caramel shortbread, and this was a decent sized portion, although I would have preferred a bit more caramel and a bit less shortbread. Overall, pretty good though. The accompanying latte was pretty good, and service was pleasant and friendly. I weas a bit disappointed ion leaving to notice a “Coffee and cake for £5” A-board outside when I had been charged £5.65. Perhaps you have to ask for the offer, or one of my items wasn’t eligible, but it seems a bit misleading. Overall though, not a bad effort and I’d happily return.

Went to the Pizza, Burger night for a family meal. Six of us in total enjoyed five pizzas and a chicken burger : I mean seriously enjoyed. Good choice of pizzas and burgers cooked and presented to perfection. Good selection of drinks . Nice relaxed venue with first class service. Lived in Nailsea for 39 years, always enjoyed eating out and only now discovered Nailsea's hidden treasure.

A disappointing evening when the Cafe has very little to sell, but what we did have was cooked well. Not sure I'd go back anytime soon.

Nice staff. Extremely slow, ordered a bacon sandwich and waited 25 minutes before asking and it had been forgotten. Another 10 minutes before it arrived. Also bacon had obviously been rushed to get it out. Will not be returning.

Nice cafe/bar food and service were good, it was clean, they do cocktails in the evening, nice atmosphere, yes liked it.

We took a last minute decision to eat and drink here having had a quick glance at the reviews, the coffee was very hot and enjoyable, ordered a big breakfast each and were not disappointed with the size and hence value for money. Food was also hot and was very tasty, good atmosphere and overall would recommend a visit if in the area.

Have had really lovely breakfirsts here and all the staff are so friendly. Tried their evening food tonight and the pizzas are the best I’ve tasted. Really recommend and not too bad prices.

We visited for lunch and although the food was reasonable and served relatively quickly we were surprised that there was no mayonnaise available for the table. This is ironic as they are two minutes away from Iceland & Waitrose. Surely they could have bought some...

Not impressed with the time taken from ordering to actual receiving the order. My partner and her son & partner sat outside under the canopy today (20/7/22)and ordered drinks . 25 minutes later the drinks turned up .. coffee cold and tea mug was cracked. If this is the type of service this cafe gives then will avoid this cafe in the future. Not impressed and very disappointed.

Went there this morning solo. Ordered a omelette, and a coffee. Drink arrived within 10 mins. No spoon supplied. Had to wait another 25 minutes for my food.
