New Red Rose in North Somerset

We ordered a take away as an absolute treat. Checked their food was gluten free - which it is besides Onion Bhajis and Naan. The food is so good I couldn’t eat it all! Lack of UHP to stop me eating a delicious curry. Nice one Red Rose!

I've been here a lot recently catching up with old colleagues, and the food is terrific. The staff are helpful and friendly. I often feel rushed when we've finished our main meal, though. The Thursday banquet is recommended.

Everything about this restaurant was spot on. From the excellent greeting on arrival, the clean and tidy wc facilities, attentive staff all the way through to a hot, tasty and enjoyable meal. Not a fan of rows of bench seats and as for the mirror wall…didn’t like that but those are personal observations. A warning about the heat of the skillet would have been good. Could have easily taken my skin off. This experience was all about the food and that could not be faulted at all. Well done, it was clean, fresh and everything was piping hot. Just as it should be. Visit here again? Absolutely 👍

Had the best meal this evening. Mixed kebab starter is the best anywhere, absolutely delicious and a meal in itself. The Lamb Sholay was absolutely delicious, along with Sag Aloo, rice and fab Garlic Nan. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Would certainly recommend this restaurant. Thank you

Have never complained about any service/food from anywhere but ordered food from red rose tonight and it came freezing cold and tasted bland. Rang just hoping for a replacement curry (even though it was all cold) The complaint was handled horrendously and I genuinely couldn’t believe how unprofessional it was. Ordered from here before, food has always been fine. But considering the stinking attitude we’ll go elsewhere from now on🤣

Great food - fresh and tasty. Very friendly and cheerful staff, who were all helpful and attentive. When they realised that it was a birthday meal they brought out a complimentary dessert with a candle on top, which was a lovely touch. Happy to recommend and will eat there again.

We visited with one of our daughters and our 2 grandchildren as a treat for my husband’s birthday . As usual we received exceptional attentive service and the food was great. I have my favourites now :- Lamb Sheek Kebab starter , Chicken Dansak Main (just the right level of spiciness), and Tarka Dhal as a side , but we enjoyed tasting each other’s choices too . The children were thrilled to be eating out, enjoyed their food and soft drinks and were treated kindly by the staff .

Absolutely love this place, the food is absolutely delicious, with lots of different fod options, service is amazing, all the staff are so friendly and welcoming, and go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need and a great experience while dining here, Mehndi is wonderful, lovely guy with a welcoming smile, and great conversation Atmosphere is also great, I highly recommend the Red Rose.

Ordered a home delivery last night - after two hours still hadn't turned. Called them three times to be told he was "just outside" or "going to be five minutes" Also told we'd be called back to update - nothing! Requested a full refund and it took two calls to get an agreement - today... still no refund... Shame, we've often ordered take out from here but never again -

The best Indian I have ever had. And I’ve tried many many before. Best in Clevedon best is North Somerset. Best ever!! Honestly. Staff were so friendly fair prices. Delicious hot professionally served food. Hot and tasty. Wipe the tables after each course which is a lovely touch. Please come here it’s amazing.

Ordered a takeaway tonight. Without a doubt, the worst one I have ever had. Late, lukewarm, bland and expensive. Avoid!

Another banquet night this time with family. Our 20 year old nephews have never eaten in an Indian restaurant. They loved everything that they are, and we're full up which is unusual for them! Great range of dishes to choose from the Thursday banquet menu. Generous portions, well cooked and a wonderful range of tastes and flavours. We all enjoyed our various dishes and even brought home leftovers. A great atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. What's not to like?

Usually really great service and food, but tonight was just appalling. Placed an order via website at 6:20pm. Had an email to confirm delivery at 7:20pm. No sign of anything at 8pm, so called to ask where our food is, to be told it will be another 16-20 minutes. 30 minutes later, another phone call, this time to cancel, by which time the food arrived. Sadly, I had to microwave my food, as it was only just warm

Once again we had an amazing time with our family and friends Sunday lunch get-together. The food was delicious, especially the Jheenga Pepper, with a wide variety of authentic dishes that impressed everyone. We are in fact still enjoying the doggie bag we took home! The staff were very attentive, and the ambiance was perfect for our gathering. Overall, a fantastic experience that we're looking forward to repeating. Thanks guys.

We had an excellent meal here where the menu is varied and extensive. The staff were helpful and efficient. We arrived at 6.30 and about an hour later the restaurant was full which says it all. Good food, fair prices and pleasant surroundings. Recommended.

Some food was only just warm. The lamb dupiaza was thankfully hot and as tasty as ever, The sag bhaji was a let down and the onion bhajis didn’t taste fresh. Everything else was lovely and we’d still order again.

Stopped using the place for a couple of years due to the quality of the food. But I was pleasantly surprised just lately so well done..

My wife and I tried the Red Rose, for the first time this evening after a friend's recommendation. We were both thoroughly impressed with our meals. In fact, I'd say this was the best curry I've eaten for a very long time. Faultless chicken, great flavoured sauce, fluffy rice and my wife's veggie option looked amazing too! We also received a bottle of free beer when collecting our order. We will definitely be revisiting soon.

I am a vegetarian and I do like a paneer curry, I checked out the "take away" menu and the only paneer available was a "sag paneer" at £4.95. I looked at the other veggie dishes and the looked reasonably priced. They were either £6.95 or £7.95. I asked one of the staff if they can do me a "tikka masala" paneer, which they agreed. They then asked if I wanted any sides like rice and I said, just a plain naan please, which was £2.95. He then gave me a price of £13.90 for a paneer tikka masala and a plain nann, that kind of made up on the spot type price.I paid it but then sat down whilst waiting and studied the menu. I noticed that most of the meat curries were even cheaper than what I was charged. I felt like I'd been taken advantage of and I approached the member of staff behind the bar and asked why it was so expensive. He then showed me the sit down menu and showed me the price of the paneer masala which was actually £10.95. However, a sit down meal is always more expensive at a restaurant as you are paying to eat in the establishment. He then showed me the price of the nann bread on the sit down menu and pointed out that it is £3.95. I then explained to him that I was taking food away.and that isn't the correct price and told him that the take away menu says £2.95. He mumbled something and then reluctantly gave me £1 back. I took the curry home and was extremely disappointed. It basically looked like a bowl of tomato soup with 5 lumps of paneer cheese in it. It tasted nothing like tikka masala either, it tasted exactly like a korma which I don't like. I was so hungry though, I reluctantly ate it. I will post a pic of my plate after I had eaten half of one of the 5 paneer cubes. Dare I say, the worst curry I've ever had and with a shocking price!

What a find on a dark Sunday night! Incredibly friendly staff, very quick service and the food was absolutely delicious, best we've had for ages. They also threw in a free vegetable dish and a free ice cream. Really fabulous place...

The Chicken korma is to die for! Amazingly helpful service over the phone, fast delivery. Can't rate it higher I'm afraid or I would!

Ordered a take away meal from Red Rose but when got home found that once of the mains was missing completely and was the most expensive dish on the receipt. There was a free vegetable curry side included and popadoms but they showed pay more attention to what was ordered first before getting carried away with the freebies. The food that did arrive for the other person was lovely. Had 2 chapatis, pilau rice, side saag aloo and side tarka dall.

Food was delicious but very small portions I mean even for the sharer plates where very under sized I found my self ordering more poppadoms because portions where inadequate for me very expensive but again all food was cooked to high standard and very scrumptious.

We had a fantastic meal here, particularly enjoyed the chicken Shashlik. Staff are extremely professional, welcoming and very friendly. Restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and is very clean. Highly recommended for a delicious dinner, we will definitely be returning.

Allergies Kirstin and her team were so on the ball when I took my list of food allergies along to a gathering of 14 of us for a celebration. Suitable food was identified and I was reassured that separate utensils would be used . My meal was delicious (as were the others) Thank you for such care on a busy evening
