The best restaurants in Marwood North Devon South West

We had a lovely dinner. Well presented, tastes were lovely and careful thought had gone into the dishes with local and seasonal ingredients. I would like to have bought some of the art but the one we liked had already sold and the others were out of my price range. 😅 The rest of the building is also interesting with a range of film memorabilia.

Out & about I came across The Muddiford Inn decided to pop in for a light bite, ended up having a 3 course meal which was heavenly & enjoyed absolutely every part of it, the food has so much flavour and was beautifully presented. The pub is clean & nicely decorated with a lovely warm feel to it. Apparently a Family run business the young lady serving was so polite and professional & made the experience so delightful. Would highly recommend to any one in the area.

It was my birthday and we booked a roast Sunday dinner from6.30pm. The food and service were exemplary and I was dismayed to hear negative comments from the diners next to us, which were both unfounded and unfair. I am a vegetarian since 1987 and the nut roast offered was without doubt the best I have ever tasted. Everything about this meal was superb and my compliments go to both the chef and the excellent waiting staff. Cannot wait to come again.

Wonderful place to stay in a beautiful setting. Richard and John were both lovely genuine people, we had a fantastic time learning to fly fish with Richard. The accommodation was excellent. Look forward to our next visit!

Lovely little tea room , hadn’t visited since I was a child - not much had changed - very enjoyable

Had a very enjoyable lunch outside looking at the spectacular views on anincredibly beautiful day. Annoyingly I left a bag behind on the back of my chair and the very helpful manager James was super efficient and kindly posted it to me. We will be back Many thanks

Suzanne the manager couldn't have been more helpful. Daughter on her way to hospital on a 35 mile journey here from home while I waited for her to be driven up by family member, and while I was waiting needed to order food for myself and then delay another order until my daughter had arrived. I was getting confused with the app and what was available, but Suzanne helped out, and put the second order on hold until daughter arrived. Very friendly and empathetic. Enjoyed the food.
