Popped into Dottys on a Saturday lunchtime, mainly for a milkshake for my step-daughter. There is a large choice of milkshakes for £2 each, cream and sprinkles can be added for £1.50p and a doughnut for 50p. We went for both choices. She was very excited and said the milkshake was lovely. The doughnut, when I picked it off the top of the milkshake, felt very stale. We decided to order food. There is a small selection of meals on the menu including breakfast, toasties, paninis, burgers and ham, egg and chips. Smaller portions can be made for younger children. We both ordered a bacon sandwich and a portion of chips. The bread was cheap, only 2 slices of bacon and the handful of chips we received for £2.50 for a portion was a disappointment. My step-daughter had a toastie which came with salad, coleslaw and tortilla chips which a pleasant surprise. When I went to pay, the lady who served us picked up our tab piece of paper which clearly had been totalled up but then proceeded to go through my entire order with me, writing down prices and adding it up again, only to reach the same price as the initial tab form said. I then attempted to pay by card which took forever to make a connection and then said payment not accepted. I was made to feel like this was my fault and that I didn’t have enough funds in my account which was certainly not the case. Luckily I had cash so was able to make a payment. Would I return again? Probably not, unless just popping in for a drink as a treat. Basic, overpriced food and milkshakes and average customer service.

Placed telephone order, food was ready in 30mins which was good. Upon arrival my first impression wasn't great. The real disappointment came when I got home. The food was awful. Bbq sauce was SOOOO salty and not proper bbq sauce. Big chunks of raw chilli in some dishes. Bad chips. Chicken curry was not good. Tiny slither of duck inside a massive duck roll. General poor taste of every dish we bought. I'm not to leave reviews but we were so disappointed and binned so much I felt the need to warn others. Waste of £60 😔 such a shame. Oh the prawn were nice though

I recently had the pleasure of visiting a local curry house and was thoroughly impressed by the experience from start to finish. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by a gentleman who was both friendly and welcoming, immediately setting a positive tone for the visit. The environment was notably clean and comfortable, with a cosy sofa in the waiting area, complete with a television offering Freeview channels—a thoughtful touch that added to the relaxed ambiance while I waited for my order. I opted for two Chicken Tikka Masalas accompanied by pilaf rice, and I must say, the food exceeded my expectations. The Chicken Tikka Masala was excellent; the chicken was cooked to perfection, remaining moist and tender—far from the dryness that can sometimes plague this dish. The masala sauce had a wonderfully balanced flavour profile, with the perfect consistency that wasn’t too heavy or overpowering, allowing the spices to shine through beautifully without overwhelming the palate. In addition to the great food, the gentleman also mentioned that they had recently taken over the restaurant from the previous owners and would be undergoing a rebranding soon. This is exciting news, and I am eager to see what new changes they will bring to an already fantastic dining experience. Overall, I had a delightful meal and was very pleased with both the quality of the food and the service. I will certainly be returning in the future and would highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a well-prepared, flavoursome curry in a welcoming atmosphere.

This was a our second choice seeing as how busy Mc Donald’s was on a bank holiday Monday for breakfast. Unfortunately I feel we would have been better off persisting in the queues for Mc Donald’s. What followed was nothing short of an experience that I am certainly not in a hurry to repeat I ordered a bacon, sausage, egg and hash brown baguette, a black coffee and an iced donut. Unfortunately the baguette contents were cold and tasteless. The sausage was dry and cardboard like as was the bacon. The baguette itself was not fresh and not enjoyable either. The donut was dry and hard, and was probably left over from Friday. The coffee was mediocre at best. Warrens used to be quite good, but sadly, I would no longer recommend.
