Costa Coffee (Cullompton) in Mid Devon

Come in twice for lunch both times toaster has been turned off so no hot food

We only had drinks this time... The coffees were great... The service was great as usual...

Large Costa..dosent seem to be used to its potential. Good latte and friendly staff. Not a lot of choice in food.Needs brightening up and a good clean( cobwebs in windows) Perhaps a bit more money could be put their way from head office., it would be worth it.!! Background music would be good.

What a great experience in Costa, Cullompton today. Brogan served me with 2 really nice lattes. What great service. This chap is an asset to the company, very polite and happy, and easy to talk to. Brogan made me laugh and helped to get rid of the post Christmas blues. I'll definitely be a regular customer from now on. Well done, Brogan.

Went in Tuesday evening after a long day of work and was quite tired. But the young owner at the counter was very lovely and chatty to me and was interested in what I had to say. Very bubbly and made my night. Dunno her name but she was in her 20s and blonde. Very happy customer 😁

A quiet Costa - coffee up to normal good standards

Didn't eat here so no stars for that, i loved this place tbh, I've been in loads of costas all over the place and this one had to be one of the better ones

If you're in Cullompton on a Sunday, you're stuffed if it's a good coffee and bite to eat you're after. Costa coffee is at best marginal - i ended up going here a couple of times on Sundays. There is never any savoury food available and only a token gesture of sweet slices. My coffee was slightly bitter during both visits - i noticed other customers were drinking Costa's milk frappes, not coffee so maybe they're good at doing that. I would drive on to Fordmore Cafe & Farm a couple of miles away - at least you'll get a full meal and coffee is slightly better

I have been here a few times a get a quick drink on my way through Cullompton. Pretty standard Costa and the staff seem really friendly. Seems a nice atmosphere

After being harassed by a lady for using the disabled toilets (I am disabled but it's not 'visable') I was quite shaken up and upset. Me and my partner were approached by a really kind employee who helped calm me down. The hot cross bun latte we got was also pretty great. Absolutely superb service. I'm just sad that I didn't get to thank the lady for everything.

I came in here freezing cold after locking myself out (-2 degrees Celsius). I came in to buy a hot chocolate. The staff were amazing at a time when I was feeling vulnerable and I couldn’t recommend this branch more. They talked to me and helped me stay warm while I waited to go home. Plus, the hot chocolate was yummy! I’m now sat here with a mint tea loving the atmosphere on this wintry night 🥰

Staff extremely patient and pleasant. Plenty of room so didn't feel crammed into my table like at some places. Good choice of drinks and treats. Clean environment.

This is an average Costa without any local feel, providing the usual coffee and food offer. I will not be tempted sway from The Bakehouse, which is truly local and offers local products.

I mean, it’s a Costa - so you know what you’re getting. However, the setting in the old bank is great as it’s so spacious and the staff were attentive and polite. Oh, and the coffee was great too.

Super friendly staff, clean and welcoming environment, and most importantly for me, vegan options! I never used to be a fan of this chain, but this branch changed my mind! There's usually a free table whenever I visit but there's healthy competition for the tucked away seating area. I love that they'll refill any reusable cup, not just own brand if you want to takeaway. They usually have some sort of cheap fundraiser going on and are a real asset to the town.

Woman who makes the drinks here has blatant eczema all over her hands and doesn't even wear protective gloves which is extremely annoying given she wipes coffee grains off of the lids with riddled back of them, when I commented on this they started sending staff over to say things like "your not allowed to bring your own food or drinks in here" referring to my bike bottle by the way, absolutely horrible costa that turns you out dot on 5 o clock! Bad service bad attitudes bad bad bad!

As always excellent friendly service and the usual great coffee. Always very clean and very welcoming. A must stop coffee shop when visiting or passing through Cullompton. Only a minutes drive off the M5 and much nicer than the services, with easy free on steet parking both sides of the road nearby.

A great place to spend a couple of hours. Every cup of coffee is of the same high standard. Annie and her team are always welcoming and friendly which adds to the whole experience.

It is a Costa, just like any other. For me prefer independant coffee shops & cafes, but at least chains like this are a welcome addition to Cullompton to enhance it's profile. As regards the place itself, friendly staff, quality drinks & cakes, toilet facilities, modern clean spacious interior, but as with all Costa Coffee franchises everything is expensive. Good place to meet up.

Average coffee. Go to the bakehouse opposite ....the coffee is better. I had a large black coffee, tastes a bit weak. Staff are pleasant and polite. My children enjoyed the super sweet salted caramel frostinos!

Costa is favourite coffee shop but the latte here was the worst I've ever tasted. If I could have took it back I would have.

Terrible service by Costa. Grumpy staff, stale danish which ended up on the floor due to staff indifference and clumsiness. Toilets were blocked and dirty. Will not stop there again.
