Costa Coffee in Mid Devon

Clean store and cheerful staff! Amazing large hot chocolates, I didnt think it would be quite that big ( but it was worth it!)

The tables were dirty and piled high with at least two previous occupant's drinks and snacks, with wrappers, crumbs and spills all over. Despite 3 staff behind the counter none of them seemed keen to do the clear ups. Staff didn't look particularly keen to be there and barely said two words

Great coffee! With friendly and helpful staff. With a good selection of drinks and food, plenty of snack options ehen you need that little extra to get you to lunch or dinner. ;-) 😉 nice relaxing environment with pleasant decorations.

The staff at this costa are second to none - every single one of them is exceptional at what they do and are so kind and friendly. This costa is no doubt a hub for the community

Staff were lovely and service was quality. Didn't have to wait long at all. Coffee is what you would expect from Costa. Quick and easy stop to get out of the rain.

We are on holiday in the area and whilst visiting Tiverton we wanted a coffee. We had our 2 spaniels with us & we were pleasantly surprised when told they could sit inside. There really should be more places that accommodate dogs. The food we had was nice and the drinks really hot.

This particular Costa is less maintained than usual Costas elsewhere while prices are the same. Chairs are often an odd mixture. Everything seems old and gloom. I've known Costas which upgraded their design several times while the Tiverton one has been like that for at least 4 years. People don't pay for the coffee as is already very expensive, they pay for the service and it is not the nicest one you would expect from a Costa.

A space which I use on a regular basis, but would be nice if it wasn't so expensive!

Nice staff , good cuppa but both times been in no loo paper to the toilet , had to hold my cheeks till tescos down the road... staff scared of the men's loo ??

Costa is a nice place with a great seating area available, but the prices they ask for are just extortionate. You'd be better off finding a small corner shop or ordering a tea or coffee from somewhere else.

Popped in for a latte on a wet Sunday afternoon coz the rest of Tiverton was in ghost town mode. We were standing at the counter for what seemed like ages while the staff were pretending to be bizy stacking the cookies and cake shelf and wiping tables ignoring us. We eventually got served and our lattes came in takeaway cups! Obviously the staff didn't want to do any washing up. We shan't be returning....

Costa coffee more like costa alot. If your feeling flush it is what it is Costa been around for years and will be for years to come service was very poor tho... smile guys it doesn't cost. No almond milk

Clean but usual overpriced coffee

Not very good, hot chocolate was far too strong, obviously the amount of chocolate was not measured, also very noisy we were put on a table by the kitchen, the door was propped open and there was a clattering and banging of crockery !!!

Very nice I particularly like Costa coffee because they are one of the local businesses that will let you use their toilet without buying anything.The council around here has controversialy shut Most of Tiverton s public loos so this is a really good service. Costas quality and value are great as well you always get freshly ground coffee and never instant and their range of add ons like the syrups you can buy make the experience better. I am looking forward to covid restrictions being lifted next week so If can enjoy a cup of coffee in a warm dry environment well done Costa

Costa is Costa but the staff at the Tiverton branch are lovely.

First visit to this Costa and not a good one unfortunately. The coffee was literally hot milk, no taste of coffee at all. Could just be a duff one, but both me and my partner we're disappointed, definitely not up to the usual Costa standard. Staff were friendly/helpful though.

Great coffee spot, nice place to work. Close to 4th ave, they have many options of coffee and food. A lot of pastries to choose from. They have online ordering service.

Costa in Tiverton is great, value for money and great tea as well as coffee too, friendly service but wonder if at busy times another double coffee machine and bigger preparation area would be helpful there's plenty of customers for its size!

Arrived with my family on Christmas eve for Coffee and cake. No cream available for order. Uncompromising Barista intened to charge me for it anyway. Luckily, sensible gentleman on till resolved the situation. Almost ruined the afternoon. I hate having to fight for good basic customer sevice.

New Earl Grey tea is tasteless. What was wrong with the original tea? Staff very average.

Hardly the dream team on shift, ordered coffee and breakfast. Poor coffee (cortado had more foam than coffee, latte had grounds in) breakfast ham and cheese croissant was passable but what could go wrong? My porridge was just oats floating in tepid milk. Atmosphere was flat and unwelcoming so, we left and got a good coffee and breakfast for less at the independent opposite. Kicking ourselves for not going there first. Lesson learned.

Tiverton is a town like many in Devon, trapped between its tranquil market past and modernisation. As a stop off for essentials on a journey, it's better and cheaper than a rip-off service station. The Costa is everything you'd expect, and it's a great pity there weren't many other places open on a Sunday, or Tiverton would be more of a draw for travellers going to and from the West country. No point reviewing another Costa - if you like them, this is just as good as any other.

If there's one place that seems busy and full to me whenever I'm in Tiverton town centre it's Costa Coffee. Does seem a little dark from outside in but once inside, it's quite roomy with the usual fayre.

The place was dirty The tables needed cleaning and clearing And the coffee was one of the worst I have tasted in a long time

It was ok but I don't drink coffee I only drink soft drinks so they arrange wasn't the best but the rest of the people I was with enjoyed it

Went in with my wife for a coffee and a cake. It wasn't busy and got served right away. I had a medium latte and my wife had a hot chocolate which were both very good. The place was clean and tidy. Just under £11 for our order which I think is pricey but its just a sign of the times I guess. This was my first experience of the Tiverton Costa and I will be going back.

Costa at J27 M5 good as ever. Claire and the brothers keep it sweet service.

This is a place where you can buy coffee, drink coffee and be with other people having coffee. Other products are available, but if you're not wanting coffee, you probably shouldn't go to a coffee shop.

Glad that Tiverton has one. Not easy to spot however. Get to the fork and take right turn. A board is outside.

I can't go up town without going to Costa large latte and peace of coffee and walnut cake sets me up for the day.the staff are very friendly allways bring it to the table for me as I am disabled. Thank you tiverton Costa.

Fantastic staff one of the few Costa shops you can take your dog in, although they have now restricted it to a couple of tables.

Very busy, typical Costa, over priced, not my first choice or my second, I prefer independent tea shops, unfortunately my friends wanted to meet there.
