I ate at Flaming Peaches on Friday and I have to say the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was packed with flavor. I had a Korean chicken pizza and a cheetos chicken burger. Both tasted amazing......although the pizza could of had more chicken on it BUT the house slaw they served with it almost made up for that as it was a taste explosion. The burger was packed with coated chicken breast and cheetos and their house sauce with complimented all the flavors. All in all great experience.....oh and if you go try their house Daught IPA it's amazing.

We bought some Fish & Chips from here in September after a day out. First time we have used this takeaway and we were not disappointed. Fish cooked to order and the chips were dry, crisp on the outside and soft in the centre. Can’t remember having chips like this for a long time. Delicious and when around we will definitely go back,

We have visited the stocks many times over the past 30 years but this was the worst meal we can remember. The gammon was thin, scrappy and too salty, the chips over cooked. We were asked if we wanted both egg and pineapple and then charged £1 extra for the pineapple, which we weren't told about when placing the order. At £18.95 it was not value for money. We ordered lemon & ginger cheesecake, which was more like mousse on a biscuit base, not the consistency of cheesecake. This desert was £7.95 so you would expect better. We told the waitress, who did offer an alternative, but this was declined. She said “I’ll let them know.” . An adjustment to the bill would have been more appropriate. There is a lot of competition in this sector and regrettably the Stocks prices have edged up too much and now sit at the more expensive end of pub food options. In summary a disappointing and overpriced lunch.

Not my first and certainly not my last visit. The place doesn’t go from strength to strength, but what they do do is maintain their already high standards and consistently improve, particularly in terms of new menu items Standout item today was the humble sounding Cheddar Cheese Croquettes. but beautifully presented and with a triumph of a marmite influenced crumb- they were delicious with a glass if an excellent Primitivo ! Another highlight worth mention was a truly top class Spanish Grenache at the price of many a much poorer wine Cannot close without my compliments to front of house service levels
