Very helpful, attentive staff. Delicious food. Found it by chance, tucked away in a lane, off the main street. Will visit again!

The whole experience was fantastic. We were a group of 31 people that came in, ordered drinks (separately), some having starters and desserts and everyone having a main. The starters came out first (obviously) and the rest of the group were jealous that they didn't order. The rest of the group didnt wait long for their mains after the starters came out and those with starters were served their mains last. We could see the pizzas being made in front of us and around 30 pizzas came out within 5 minutes of each other which was a feat in itself. I don't know how a restaurant works on the inside but Piadizza has it covered. The serving staff were great and made serving to so many people look easy, the food was tasty and the bill was very reasonable for the food we got. Thanks Piadizza for a great evening!

If you’re a foodie this place is an absolute must. It’s the only place in town where you have an impressive choice of gourmet ingredients to really tailor your pizza or burger..and it’s really great value. If you want quality without paying the earth for it … go and check out this hidden gem just off the square.

I've been twice (so far) with my daughter. Most recently with the famiy too, excellent food, served well with good choices and all freshly made. Friendly and welcoming staff and a chilled atmosphere. Excellent value for money too. Looking forward to our next visit. Hidden gem in Wimborne, defo worth a visit!

Went here on Saturday night , 6 of us, the welcome was very friendly , service was first class , food you couldn't fault at all! The only criticism we could make was a large table of people who's behaviour didn't fit in with this nice little family run restaurant. My advise to the owners would be not to take on large bookings as it takes the shine off the experience. Best of luck for your business in the future 👏 👍

Starter was incorrect but I accepted it anyway as the young server guy looked embarrassed. Then my Main was given to another person in my party as the server said it had olives on it. I did not order olives. This person took a bite and confirmed it was the wrong pizza as there were no olives on it, so the server took it from her and gave it to me. A bite removed and teeth marks included. I asked for a discount and was told I would get it. Instead they remade my pizza, and then a different server told me it was the other customer's fault as the original server DID NOT state olives, yet 15 people heard him do so? 2nd mistake. So finally got my main 2 hours and 15mins after arriving when most of my party had finished eating. Totally tasteless. Most bland pizza ive had hence I was asked if I wanted a box to take it home as I had left so much. The customer is apparently always wrong here even though others witnessed. Wrong starter and charged full price and waited longer than anyone else after being served a bitten pizza?? Never again!! Update... thanks for the insults. Very mature response. I dont mind mistakes but it was the attitude and that it was mine and my parties fault when it was not that makes this so poor. And we only paid for drinks individually as we were given the option to! Again, not our fault!

We came here on a Wednesday night and were the only customers eating in, but despite that the atmosphere was really pleasant with tasteful boho decor, nice music and friendly staff. It was also reassuring that you could see into the kitchen where a big wood fired pizza oven was blazing away. One of the nice things about the place was that you could choose your own pizza toppings and they had more than just the usual mainstream ingredients on offer. Our pizzas were thin and crispy and really very good. Personally I would have liked a bit more of some of the toppings even if I'd had to pay a little more because the prices were very reasonable but I guess with the choose your own topping system I could have asked for a double portion and I might try that next time. The only issue we had, which I didn't mention at the time for fear of creating a bad atmosphere, and which I only mention now at the end of my review because I don't want it to make my review seem bad when in fact we had a very nice time, was that we ordered a bowl of olives to have with our drinks and did not get the advertised ones. I guess the restaurant must have run out of the "Manzanilla and Hojiblanca olives" that are on the menu as we were given a bowl of dry black pitted olives with some feta crumbled over it. We tried them but didn't eat them as they weren't good. No one seemed to notice (or to acknowledge) that we hadn't eaten them either. It would have been much better practice if we'd just been told that the restaurant was out of the good olives than to try substituting an inferior product. On the whole though, this is nice interesting little restaurant and we would definitely come here again.

Wonderful food, really lovely staff and the absolute treat of having Krista Green playing and singing as we ate. Couldn't have been happier.

I love an independent family run business and The Wood Fired Piadizza did not disappoint! Really good pizza and a great atmosphere on a Saturday night with excellent live music! Friendly staff, good value too. Excellent selection of toppings to create your own pizza as well. Unfortunately we aren't local but we would make a point of coming back here when next in the area!

Super yummy pizzas and the kids,fab thick salami, enjoyed designing their own too. Friendly and helpful staff, very welcome at the end of a l9ng hot day.

Stumbled upon this place on a Friday night visiting Wimborne from Bournemouth. The welcome was warm, the family story is lovely & importantly the food was superb. The range of home made pizzas & burgers are excellent and the sharing melted Camembert cheese is outstanding.

Had a great night here. The food was freshly prepared and delicious, with a choice of expected pizzas as well as pasta and a range of side dishes. The bar is well stocked as well. The staff were all friendly and attentive and did a great job of making our evening at a birthday dinner special.

Our first trip into Wimborne having recently moved here didn’t disappoint. Attentive, friendly staff and the food was excellent. Live music was an added bonus. I’d recommend this place without hesitation and will definitely return in the near future. Really enjoyed all aspects of it.

Cold restaurant, staff inattentive, no check back or drinks offered (empty glass on table for half hour). Pizzas were okay but nothing special. Hopefully the owners sarcastic replies to negative feedback will fix the issues, although I doubt it.

Funny little place. The pizzas were pretty good and the bill was reasonable. The baked camenbert was filling what with all the bread and chutney. Would probably be good to go again as a group before a night out.

What a treat! We visited last night. We drove a fair way to get to the restaurant and were not disappointed. The actual restaurant is lovely, the staff are great and the food is awesome! The pizzas bases are perfect & the toppings are quality. The garlic bread was super tasty as well! I can’t wait to return!

Disappointing visit to restaurant last night . The staff were very nice , but our order had 3 wrong dishes and the pasta meatballs were not cooked properly. Consequently the other guests had to wait for replacement items to arrive. Finally the Chef came out and loudly admonished the whole table of 8 for complaining about the meatball dish! This response was totally inappropriate and the chef needs get himself onto a customer service course - sharpish! Not planning to return soon, which is a shame as the staff (with one exception) were friendly and general atmosphere was nice.

Nice staff and friendly service, bit let down by the quality. We ordered two pizzas and both hardly had any toppings on, in fact our pepperoni pizza only had meat on 4 out of the 8 slices. Poor value for the cost, bit disappointed.

Best takeaway pizza in area, always polite on the phone, speedy delivery and piping hot every time. Much better than the big pizza companies - highly recommend anyone in Wimborne giving them a go. Support local!!!

Such a lovely place. Super chilled atmosphere, although at the moment, extra safety conscious and yet when dining it feels normal again, which is super nice! This is one of the best restaurants in Wimborne. It's super chilled out and freindly, the staff are great and the pizza are the best around, hands down. Me and the wife generally head here when we get a night off from the kids!

Horrendous manager when voice complaint. Backlash of derogatory comments very childish and unprofessional. We saw an advert for eat out to help out, then having spent £120 couldn’t get £10 off each (three of us totalling £30) they just laughed about it. Today he’s asked me if I’m on another planet and told me to go to the co op for a cheap pizza next time. Maybe it will be the right size if I do!!!Have had to escalate further as it is deliberately falsely advertising what seems to be. Government scheme then wash their hands of it when get the bill.

Called in for a quick meal when passing through the area and it was a great choice, pizzas were excellent and they had a great choice of toppings that you could customise the pizzas with. The interior of the restaurant is tastefully decorated and you can watch the pizzas being made. The only negative was that we weren't asked for any track and trace details, which didn't occur to us until after we had left.

My wife and I were very excited to try this local business and support an independent restaurant post lock down. We ordered two pizzas to takeaway. On getting them home and opening the boxes, our first thoughts were that they were a rather small 12"(I noticed another review mentions the small size of them) for £12 each. (-I'm sure the owner will write on here that he used a 12 inch rolling pin like he did with the other review). On top of that, to the naked eye the toppings were very sparse. However, we started to eat to reveal what was underneath, which was unfortunately not a lot. Feeling very disappointed with both pizzas that we ordered I gave the restaurant (this word is used very loosely) a call to enquire and, in the nicest possible way, express our disappointment. Unfortunately I was met from the owner with nothing but hostility, rudeness and aggressiveness which resulted in him dismissing everything I was trying to voice and hanging up on me. Needless to say we will not be going back and have been left quite horrified by the poorness of the pizzas and the lack of customer care.

This was a first visit to the Wood Fired Piadizza and we enjoyed the whole experience very much. From the warm welcome as we arrived, the friendly service with helpful advice on menu choices to the lovely, freshly made pizza. I am not a huge pizza fan but these were very tasty. There is a large hatch through to the kitchen so you can see your meal being prepared so you can see all the ingredients are fresh. The restaurant is small and had a very charming, intimate feel created by the family who run the establishment. Our waitress "Mum" is obviously very proud of her son, the chef! As it was a birthday celebration, when the staff knew this they gave the birthday girl a complimentary liquer, which was a lovely touch.

Lovely and relaxed, chilled out, they have live music too on nights which is really romantic to eat to.

We went to The Wood Fired Piadizza for my my wife's birthday the staff were very helpful our meal was lovely but I have a flat white coffee afterwards unfortunately it was sweet and not nice a all, very surprised about that.

We've been here a few times now and it never fails to deliver. Outstanding pizzas with great staff in a cosy setting. Will be returning again soon!

Very good pizzas in a pleasant atmosphere. Reasonably priced as well. We had a starter, side, 2 pizzas and drinks for under £40 which we felt was great value. Slight issue with our booking being lost but this was sorted swiftly and a table found for us while we had drinks. Would certainly go again.

We ordered takeaway pizza. Cardboard base, bland tasting and a very small 12 inch. I was really disappointed as we love pizza and had said we never had a bad one until now. Great chips though.

Really great pizzas cooked in their wood fired oven... very welcoming staff and great prices... highly recommend this restaurant tucked away in Wimborne.... On a side note, the playlist was probably the best music I’ve heard in a restaurant!!!!

Not oily like some Italian restaurants in Wimborne, great service nice small place with a buzzing atmosphere and as the title says tasty pizza too. Will go back.

I had the standard base with added Tuna Capers Anchovies and prawns each charged at £ 1.00 extra this brought the price of the Pizza up to £12.95, when it arrived you could see the capers 4 prawns but the Tuna and Anchovies we virtually non existent.

This place is a gem. Really excellent pizzas and burgers and you can choose your own toppings from a long list of ingredients. Lovely friendly service. Unbelievably we were the only people in at Saturday lunchtime, this place really deserves to be full.

We walked down Mill Lane and was con fronted by a young man selling his hand made pizza. Fantastic taste. So we thought we'll have lunch here, Wow fantastic food, great service,. They not only sell pizza obviously, so all of our food and drink was fantastic. We have found a new place to eat out at very reasonable prices. We'll done the wood fired piadizza

We made a return visit to this lovely pizza bar and it just gets better and better the new menu is first class . The burgers are second to none and the pizza are better than ever.You certainly can tell this is a family concern the staff are so friendly and helpful they will do anything for you. If we could we would give them 10 stars!!!! Only one word discribes this resturant and that is BRILLIANT.

There have been some good & bad reviews of this place, but we wanted to give it a go as its an independent local business. The person that served us got my order completely wrong, so a fresh meal was made for me. By the time it arrived, my partner had finished his meal, so I was left to eat alone, which spoiled the evening for us. There was some live music on offer, but it was pretty awful to be honest. Although we didn't get charged for one of the meals, the overall lack of basic care & attention to detail put us off visiting again.

We were looking at the outside menu on a rainy day in Wimborne, and the owner/manager(we assumed) came outside and offered us some free pizza to try, we explained that we don't eat cheese and he said that's no problem we do vegan pizzas and have vegan cheese so we decided to treat ourselves! the inside was nicely decorated, warm and welcoming, we were seated near the wall with a view hole into the kitchen, our orders taken and food came, rather quickly, and it tasted great! All homemade basically in front of us. My only constructive crit would be that the crusts were a little crunchy, maybe more sauce on the edges, otherwise fantastic. The staff were lovely and friendly and with it being Christmas they had relevant music in the background, which the waitress offered to change in case Christmas had made us insane! Overall a very nice place to eat, nice staff, good food and good prices well done.

Not great, private party going on which took over the place, felt like we were gate crashing. Staff only interested in private party, drinking at the bar when they were supposed to be serving us. Music too loud man singing drowned out conversation so nobody could talk. Pizza ok but toppings very lacking and thin, base too tough needed sharper knife to cut through it. Pudding dreadful a mince pie which actually was a microwaved volauvent case with a teaspoon of mincemeat. Inedible as the case was chewy. Won’t be going again which is a shame as I am local.

Great pizzas but there is a big but. Staff uninterested in if the food okay, and some certainly wasn’t. Puddings were awful both in choice and quality. Homemade mince pies on offer turned out to be a volenvents case with a tea spoon of mincemeat microwaved!!

Kids declared this the best pizza in wimborne! A real wood pizza oven is welcoming. The staff are fab. A new favourite!

So good we came here 3 times in 2 weeks! Pizzas are large, thin and crispy bases. The garlic pizza bread is delicious and they have lots of local DORSET cheeses and meats to choose from. Local sauces from the chilli shop opposite. A Wimborne treasure in the making. Try the garlic butter mushrooms on the pizza if you fancy something a little different! A little quiet mid week but an up and coming establishment that improves Wimborne’s limited choice in eateries!

We visited early on a Friday evening and were warmly welcomed in this family restaurant. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the pizza’s we had were large and tasty and the restaurant was clean, well set-out and airy. The homemade pork scratchings at the bar were apparently fantastic (I didn’t try them as I’m pretty much a vegetarian).

We just popped in on a Saturday lunchtime as we were passing - the pizza was absolutely delicious!! The tastiest pizza we have had for a while. Superb base - crispy and thin, and the whole pizza was perfectly cooked. We loved the fact that you can ‘build your own’ by adding toppings to suit your own taste. Staff are welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be back

Absolutely awful place. Rude staff and small overpriced pizzas i.e. 2 for £21. Phoned an order in and was told it's be ready in 20 mins. Arrived to collect on time to discover it wasn't even started so waited another 45 mins to then get the wrong pizza. Owner couldn't give a toss and asked what we wanted to do. Made another pizza which was STILL wrong(not that we wanted 3 pizzas) ended up getting them half price (quite rightly) but will never go back.

We went to this pizza barlast night and it was wonderful the staff were brilliant and the food was wonderful no complaints at all.Will defiantly recommend to our friends and will be returning.EXCELLENT VENUE

Visited this lovely new pizza bar last night and were made to feel instantly at home by the best two front of house staff any business could ask for ordered our pizzas which came very quickly and were of excellent quality then enjoyed a drink in the bar . This is by far the best pizza bar in Wimborne. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Give it a try you won't be disappointed.

Ordered 3 pizzas tonight. The service was quick and the bases were great but there was a lack of meat on the meat pizza. I only managed to find 4 pieces on my pizza. It was disappointing.

Got ourselves a takeaway tonight. Have to say I’m very impressed. Friendly and helpful staff and pizza that was amazing! Highly recommend a chefs special 4 cheese 👌 Looking forward to our next visit already!

We visited as a family recently and was very impressed with this new restaurant in the heart of Wimborne. The staff were very welcoming and there was a great choice of pizza toppings on the menu. I love that you can see the huge pizza oven in the kitchen and the kids really enjoyed watching our pizza being freshly made. We'll definitely be back.

Great pizzas, friendly staff, good value. Will definitely go back. Only suggestion would be for some pre-meal nibbles such as olives or bread and dipping oils to have whilst waiting for the pizza.

I eat here at least once a week with family and friends. The staff are friendly and accommodating. I have coeliac disease and require a gluten free pizza, the chef is always accommodating and makes all the pizzas fresh to order. You can see the amazing pizza oven from the restaurant.
