A Great little find on the A429 in the Dorn lay-by. Very friendly owner and a great brew with an amazing sausage bap. And the best thing if you’ve not cot cash they take card..... why not stop off you will not regret it.

A phenomenal and cute local watering hole that has great vibes and solid food for vegetarians! Would highly recommend the food too, even if it may seem like everyone’s there mostly for drinks

Fondue night was an absolute delight!

We visited for the first time last week. We were both excited at the prospect of rarebit (since removed from the menu) the bland rarebit was just one piece of toast, the rest of the plate was salad, however the salad dressing made it tasty. But £13 seriously?! On a positive lovely views to enjoy.

Superb..truly superb. Attentive staff,excellent food, bottled drinks.Very talented chef. Pleasant ambience. Definitely a place to eat at.

Stopped here for lunch during our walk from Moreton. Made very welcome along with our two dogs and enjoyed delicious sandwiches.

Nice friendly atmosphere and lovely staff. Lunch menu not huge but its quality that counts and they have it. My wife the quiche and I had the pie of the day.. To full for a dessert so ordered cake to take home - yum The view across the Cotswold from their conservatory is great.

We dropped in on chance on a cold Tuesday lunch time. The place was already quite busy, which we took as a good sign. We last ate here about four years ago and my goodness, how it has changed! Still the same pubby interior, horse-themed as you might expect. The food however was simply outstanding. We had planned on a quick lunch, but it was so good we ended up having two courses each plus a shared nibble of excellent, fresh taramasalata while we waited for mains. We tried the ox cheek with truffle mash, and chicken supreme with braised leeks and onion tarte tatin. Top quality food, cooked to perfection. I could have eaten the crispy kale (veg accompaniment ) all day. Great choice of desserts but we were quite full after our mains, so just had a cheese plate and an affogato. Both very good. I didn’t have wine as it was lunchtime, but there was a very good wine list and a good selection of beers. We will be back!

Toasted Brioche Bun, Two sliced fat sausages, a fried egg - epic! Washed down with an excellent flat white. Possibly the best pitstop in the Cotswolds 🙂. Only let down by surly kids on the till, at least they remove the ‘Tip’ before presenting the machine for payment.
