Easy to book and pre-order. Ambience welcoming and festive. All of the staff were on point-professional, attentive, personable and friendly. The starter, mackerel, was delicious, Christmas lunch with all the trimmings was flavoursome and filling and my sweet was heavenly treacle tart. Coffee was genuinely delicious. This has to be a year of exceptional students especially Finn.

Decided to venture out of the office and try a new lunch spot. I ordered a bacon, brie and cranberry sandwich and iced latte for my friend. Everything was perfect! I'm usually the kind to pick the fillings out of the bread but I finished everything in less than 5 minutes. The owner even offered us a cake on the house. Only wish I had found this place sooner as it turns out they will be temporarily closing their doors from today :( Will definitely be a regular once backup and running again!

This is our favourite place for coffee or lunch in Truro at present. Refurbished the building has had a few incarnations at the moment it has a wonderful vibe with great helpful and friendly staff. Food is simple but tasty with often a little twist that takes it away from the normal. Exotic teas and good coffee. Good value and well worth a visit.

Atmosphere is great but games haven't kept pace and now pretty run down. Shame as main reason to use venue. Shuffle board now not electronic, pool tables are beyond awful, stick to the darts.

AVOID anything on the menus advised as ‘MILD’ unless you are looking for baby food. In my experience, my meal identified as ”MILD” bad NO spice at all and subsequently had no depth of flavour. It was sweet, bland and very disappointing. Definitely not worth the price as there was no skill in the cooking or expected experience of Nepal food. Sadly a jar of mild curry sauce from a supermarket has more depth of flavour than this and it feels like more effort, care and thoughtfulness was put in that jar than given to my plate of food at this restaurant today. It would be better if the menu says ‘NO SPICES’. Then at least you’d know what to expect : a bland tactless plate of food.
