Lovely location, small, great cakes, but very poor quality coffee -- acidic and unpleasant blend we left as unable to drink, but the doughnuts are brilliant!

Over extracted/burnt coffee, flat white served in a tea mug. Shame for a place seeming to focus on their coffee.

We found this coffee bar by accident 12 months ago, whilst on holiday in Cornwall and very pleased we did. It is down a tiny alley. The coffee is lovely and doughnuts to die for. The staff very friendly. We were back in Cornwall again in September this year and couldn't wait to re-visit this wonderful coffee bar. In our 2 weeks holiday, we went back to Truro three times for coffee and doughnuts - well worth the hour and a half round trip. We love that you can donate £1, so that the emergency services and servicemen and woman can have a free coffee. What a wonderful idea. Well done to all concerned. Can't wait to go back again next year. Thank you.

We vonden toevallig dit koffiehuisje. Als er geen bord langs de drukkere straat had gestaan waren we er zeker niet geweest. Leuk knus koffiehuis. Heerlijke donuts en andere versnaperingen!!

Went here based on Tripadvisor reviews. No longer called warehouse so maybe it’s been taken over. We got 2 cappuccinos and a cinnamon donut. Based on the pics on TA of the cappuccinos, i had high expectations of a Melbourne-esque coffee. Instead we were given a country-style, average coffee. Lots of froth and not a particularly nice coffee flavour. No chocolate on top. The donut was nice but nothing to get excited about.Wouldn’t return.

Have been here a few times now for coffee, Carrara coffee is my favourite and the staff always make it beautifully, good choice of donuts and cakes, plus the nicest staff, always going the extra mile to make it a wonderful experience. Best coffee in Truro.

Absolutely love, love, love, love, love, this place. Staff are amazing, great service, coffee is great. Love the new coffee of the month idea, always great to have variety. Donuts are delicious, fantastic for a pre work snack, or when out with friends or family. Nothing bad to say, my absolute favourite.

The only place I have ever been outside of the US or various bases outside of the UK where a serviceman or woman can get a free coffee or donate and anyone can donate a £1 for the someone. It also includes emergency services and the NHS. Well Done and be proud of yourselves.

We visited this adorable little doughnut shop this afternoon for a quick doughnut and coffee. Although our double chocolate doughnuts and my flat white were great to take away and eat on the steps of the cathedral, the staff seemed very scared of us, particularly the guy serving the doughnuts and taking the orders... I don't really think we're particularly intimidating I get that it's a pretty close area to order from and your at fairly close quarters all the time we werent at all awkward, loud or demanding with our ordering.

Loved this quirky coffee shop tucked out of the way in Truro. Staff were friendly and helpful. The donuts tasted amazing and we'll definitely be coming back for more. The hot drinks were also great and we loved the variety of toppings with the whipped cream. Just one little suggestion that would have made it 5/5, is that the portion of coffee/hot chocolate that you get in a cup could have been a little bigger. I'm not sure if it's because we had cream, but we found our cups were only half full after we'd got through the cream, so just a suggestion to put in more hot drink and then have them cream on top above the cup rather than in it. Otherwise, really great and we'll likely come back again. Thank you :)

I feel I have to write a few words on behalf of my son who says this place is great! A place he has visited a few times with his college buddies when he has some 'free time'! I have yet to visit but from what he says, and being a coffee lover myself, I am somewhat intrigued to try it fairly soon. By the way he loves your iced coffees! I'm all for supporting small businesses rather than these big chains.

Visiting Truro for the first time and having left the cathedral we found this lovely little coffee and cake shop hidden away in an alleyway (Red Brick Alley). We would rather visit small businesses rather than the coffee chains. We were not disappointed. The staff were friendly and the coffee was excellent. We didn't eat but the cakes looked very tasty. They also do free coffee for the emergency services and military which is a nice touch. If you are local make sure you support this venture and if you are a visitor put it on your must visit list.

This is a wonderful little, strange shaped building hidden away down an alley in Truro. A couple of seats outside, a few downstairs but more upstairs. Fabulous coffee at £2. Take your ID with you if you work in the emergency services as people donate £1 to give you a free coffee. The cakes and donuts are amazing and worth the calories.

Superb place for a coffee and doughnuts not a massive selection but great quality makes up for it. The cinnamon doughnut got the most thumbs up but was sold out when we went for seconds so had to try other, such a hardship for the wife and kids.

After reading the article in the West Briton, I was keen to try out the newest coffee shop in town. Sixteen Fifty Two have hit on something fantastic in their concept. Enjoy a coffee (or tea, or hot chocolate) and a doughnut (or muffin, or other cake) and swap books? A winning combination.

What a gem! We had no idea where to go for lunch but chose the shed; a great choice! The steak was so good and the sole cooked to perfection. Great wine, appetisers and dessert to boot. Fantastic value and the service was great Thank you so much.

Absolutely wonderful visit. The cream tea was the best I think I’ve ever had. Warm scones, huge pot of cream and delicious jam, must be homemade. The tea was piping hot and came with an additional tea bag should you like it strong.
