I'm so thrilled Skinners brewery reopened, as a real ale fan I'm happy again :-) This bar area is fab, superb choice of finest ales and great old. Good to see so many other people enjoying the outside seating area also. Can't wait to go back!

Hidden gem, recommended. Spent a great afternoon listening to a band on a Sunday afternoon

The food is top quality, really tasty and not over-priced. Seating area outside has great atmosphere and good amount of room. Service was slightly slow but really not that bad at all.

Was looking to order online but ran across a few issues but that’s not the point of the review, my partner called twice and spoke to two gentleman, one called Rob and the other called Dan and we just wanted to say that these two men were so helpful and nice and as a couple who also work in hospitality we think these two gentleman deserve some recognition for being so kind, polite and honestly a breath of fresh air in regards to hospitality in Truro.

Lovely bar and outdoor sheltered space for eating and socialising. Even better is the sport on show! Olympics on at the moment. Had a beer a cider, Cajun fries and salt and pepper squid. Good fried food and good space for chats and meeting people

Food smelt and tasted amazing , location and outside eating area is nice and comfortable, staff were amazing the whole night , bar and kitchen , if you want good comforting food. COME HERE

What can I say. Love the beer and the food but the staff are fantastic. Had our taken by another group of ….s but the staff went out of their way to find us another (better) table and really looked after us. Have been here a number of time for socials, quiet drinks and to watch ruggers and footy, and each time it’s been a superb atmosphere. Now the best food, drinking and socialising venue in Truro.

I go down to Truro regularly and it's the one place I always stop at. I have to have a Betty Stoggs and Cornish Knocker. Best beers in town.

I’m so mad, thought we would get a takeaway as would be a nice lunch ( we’ve had it before always good food). This time paid for the food 2x burgers 1x chips a salad and 1x cauliflower bites, was told it would be out shortly. Oh how they were wrong. After an hour and a half waiting we decided to question where the food was and they said it would another half an hour. We both decided to leave because my partner had work in 45 minutes. We thought takeaway would be a priority but no! Bar staff always lovely but food well it was never to be SEEN!! Luckily got a full refund but still very annoyed due to wasted afternoon.

Absolutely love this place. Their nachos and cauliflower bites are lush! Great little spot!

Returned after several years away. The place has transformed into a bar and street food style eatery. Unique tasty dishes. With a fantastic range of local ales, many brewed on site.

Can't recommend Tapyard enough. Try their nachos! Omg, delish! My dog loves it here too :D

Excellent very pleasant staff, great food and beer

Goodh / Skinners taproom, with a great variety of very good beers on draught, cask and cans. We tried the food and had a few beer tasters - we loved everything so much that we returned next day. Very nice, friendly and chill athmosphere, overall - a great experience - a place I would visit again if in the area.

Best place in Truro! Food is always consistent (and awesome!) And they have the best beers! It's kiddie and doggie friendly too. We wish we could visit more often!

Reserved a table and right from the get go it was a great experience. Super friendly staff and absolutely amazing beers followed by one of the best chicken burgers and chips I’ve ever had. I’ve been a long standing fan of skinners ales and cannot believe I haven’t been here sooner. Will absolutely be making this a regular visit!

Fantastic Brewery, we stopped for Sunday Lunch as someone else recommended and we were not disappointed.

The Tapyard Riverside used to be the old home of the Skinners Brewery. When the Skinner’s brewery failed, the Goodh Brewery took over the site and moved from its previous location at the old print works. The choice of beers is simply excellent and there is plenty to suit every taste. Staff are really friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere is superb. There is food on offer, which I must say pairs really nicely with the beer and the Mojo dipping sauce is one is a must have with the chicken and chips. The Tapyard also holds music events every now and then.

Great place to chill out and sample some fantastic ales! Nice new location. Sadly let down by deep fried nachos with horrible orange goo! (Cheese apparently!). What's wrong with the healthy version! Crunchy nachos with (real) cheese under the grill??

Great beer selection, good atmosphere and fantastic chicken. Outdoor seated area undercover. Spent an enjoyable afternoon a couple of weeks ago. Tonight I ordered a burger to be delivered which tasted great and I was sent a portion of chips to go with it which were so tasty, it made my day!!

I been here a few times now, the beer is great, staff are extremely friendly, lovely fried chicken and general nice ambience. If you're in Truro and looking for a good beer in a nice setting give this a go!

Great place. Decent beer at great prices. Although need to try more of them. Menu looked good but had already eaten so will be back to try the food. Met the owner... he seemed a lovely chap. Definitely recommend some Goodh beer.

Best... place... ever.... go there at your own risk you will be addicted, you will have to go every week, the food is amazing the alchol is amazing but the people are outstanding

We had a really good couple of hours after an impromptu stop after a walk. The staff were lovely and made everyone including the dog welcome. The beer selection is great. We tried the flight of four different ones which worked out perfectly to help choose what we wanted to drink. They were all very different and varied in strength. The food is simple but good, and just right to go with beer. Outside of winter months, the seating outside is in a suntrap, although don't expect good views!

One of the best spots in Truro. Great food, awesome drinks and the staff are lovely. Well worth a visit.

Excellent food, fantastic range of beers. Staff are great, the manager is absolutely the best. Favourite place to go to decompress, relax and get great service and food.

First visit, arrived with fellow cyclists after a wet evening ride. stowed bikes safely - thank you. Taster tray of 4 beers went down well. We're looking forward to next visit to try more of their 20 different brews.

Great place with a chilled out vibe, serving excellent craft beers. Staff are super friendly, the food is really well cooked and came quickly, loads of seating inside and outside - trestle tables and booths. Only licensed till 2200 but it's only recently opened and this should get later in due course. Kids allowed in till 2030.

Found this place today, tucked away in Truro and it’s amazing. The food was lovely with a choice of chicken or vegetarian burger and there was so much choice with the Ales I was stuck on which one to buy. All in all a very positive experience and will definitely be back!

Have walked past this place many times wondering what's its like,lastnight we finally went in and oh my is it good 👍. Freindy and helpful staff drinks are very well priced and r food was excellent 👌 we will definitely be back alot more now we have found this place .

Lovely new place to visit. Great selection of beers and all tried were very nice. The lady was great at helping with samples. Plenty of seating and a nice place.

Goodh Brewery Tap. Large range of beers on tap, Not tried them all, but I can recommend the Porter. Had a couple of pints today, and being a Londoner by birth, I think it is the nearest to London Porter that I have tasted outside the M25 Gyratory. Place was not too busy, which made it a pleasant break.

What a fantastic little find by my friends across the road at Trevails clothing store. Great selection beers, perfect environment and very knowledgeable and friendly staff. The Little Fish IPA was very very good, and the selction for such a small brewery was great. My colleague was taken by the Espresso Stout and we both purchased to take back to Yorkshire. I will return with the family for food in the summer. Well done everyone you deserve to succeed

Our favourite place in Truro to go for amazing food and amazing beer. Can't fault the place. All the staff and leadership team are super welcoming and friendly. You can also buy takeaway beers from the nearby stall at Truro market.

Loved the service I was given. The food was cooked fresh and had great flavours too. The drink, I am not the biggest fan of IPA's but the IPA I ordered to give it a try "little fish" I loved it. Would certainly come back again with friends and family.
