The best restaurants in Redruth South Cornwall, Isles of Scilly South West

Shockingly poor service, will never return, served others who had arrived after us, first. Needed to ask where our order was, waited far too long for food to arrive.

A lovely traditional cafe in the stunning indoor Market, Redruth. Its just a nice old fashioned cafe with no pretentious airs and graces! Staff are lovely and working very busily when I arrived. I ordered a coffee and a small breakfast with extra tomato. Took a while due to them being very popular. But, when it did it hit the spot, just what I needed to keep me going.

Popped in for a catch up with friends. Really pleasant feel to the place delicious coffee and friendly, helpful staff. Fantastic produce available in the shop.

This is a great place to grab a bite to eat and a cuppa, great service, very friendly, great food and drink, lovely atmosphere, highly recommended.

Great little find, had been recommended by our friends. We called in for a cream tea, it was fresh and delicious, the tea came in beautiful china, really beautifully presentrd. One of our party was coeliac, there was no trouble getting cake, the gluten free ginger and raspberry cake was delicious and the hot chocolate perfect. Will definitely be visiting again soon.

The food on offer is predominantly sandwich based. Bring back the Hungry Horsebox guys who continually offered fantastic hot dishes and a variety of salads!

Just the best and most beautiful place for a coffee and meet up but also such a safe space if on your own. A warm welcome and delicious food

We stopped by on the way from Cornwall to get a coffee, and were not disappointed. Wooden Box is a lovely cafe with friendly staff. I’m pleased to to have supported an independent business and would highly recommend!

We had cod and chips - piping hot and cooked to perfection! Couldn’t fault it. Staff were very welcoming and cheerful, everywhere spotlessly clean. Have been a few times recently and will be returning!

Dropped in for a takeaway on our way back to our campsite. Fish was delicious and the chips were amazing. Never tasted any quite like them before from a chippy, crunchy on the outside and fluffy potato in the middle . Possibly double fried or maybe tossed in seasoning/flour before frying. My mouth is watering just writing about them! Friendly fast service too. Little sit in place at the back if you don't want takeaway and a carpark at the side as well. Would thoroughly recommend Greg & Lou's. All other chippys will be compared to them from now on.

We were greeted with a very warm welcome by staff and locals, which makes you feel at home straight away. This is a lovely country pub with an excellent choice of beer and lager. Our meals were hot, filling and well cooked. Altogether we had a lovely visit

A fantastic spot for breakfast in Redruth. Decent quality produce from meat to bread. 2 shots of coffee as standard! Eggs are the right colour and the staff are always friendly and get to know you when you become a regular. Can't recommend highly enough!

Amazing Cornish Pasties - the best around. Never disappointed with one of their pasties. Made with classic vegetables and,of course, beef skirt.

Werea couple down from the north and happend to come across this little gem, we waals visiting the BnM after a grueling 8 hour drive, I can not recommend this place enough, the XL burger is absolutely brutish hahahah so tasty and all food is absolutely fresh as a daisy, the couple that run it are such genuine and warming people ... PS try the chilli sauce it's sweet with a little heat soooooo good
