A fantastic spot for breakfast in Redruth. Decent quality produce from meat to bread. 2 shots of coffee as standard! Eggs are the right colour and the staff are always friendly and get to know you when you become a regular. Can't recommend highly enough!

Such a lovely cafe with friendly staff and amazing food, not to mention the brilliant prices. I see this becoming a regular spot for me to visit if I had to suggest anything I would say putting certain tables a little further apart as I struggled getting in with someone sat behind. So homely and overall a lovely spot highly recommend a visit!

It was an impulsive visit, put an hour ticket on the car done what we wanted in 10 minutes. So popped in for a coffee but saw the menu wow what a selection I and the wife had a meal she had jacket potato and coffe with hers and I had lasagna with all the trimmings also a pot of tea. The meals were very delicious can’t rate it high enough Staff are very friendly and the atmosphere of the place is excellent. And price wise far to low for what we had.

My plan this year was to support local shops wherever possible and not to do any Christmas shopping online, so with that in mind we've been visiting different towns to see what they offer. This trip was to Redruth. After parking at New Cut car park and walking down a concrete alley beside Wilko's we were immediately drawn to Boesti Cafe which was nicely decorated for the festive season, and we decided to have lunch. The first thing we noticed was how popular is this cafe; there was a steady flow of customers, mostly local, as well as a policeman from Camborne on his lunch break. All were made to feel welcome by the friendly service. Several customers brought their dogs too. After finding a table you order and pay at the bar but there is table service once the food is ready. We chose one of the day's specials which was Chicken Casserole with Dumplings. This was well presented in a bowl, hot and delicious and served with a choice of different breads. Just the thing for a cold Winter's day. We followed this up with a hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows which looked great and was also very enjoyable. As ever in this part of Cornwall we were soon chatting to other customers who treated us like old friends, and petting their dogs! Aside from this location there isn't much to see in Redruth, it is an historic tin mining town and not a chocolate box tourist location. There is the Regal Theatre and Cinema nearby, I'll review that another time. If you're visiting Redruth, even for just an interview at Job Centre Plus, I would recommend to stop by at Boesti Cafe. The meal we had was £6.95 a portion and with coffee, soft drink and two hot chocolates our bill was a very reasonable £17.70.

Would definitely come back again if we are over this way and would highly recommend it to anyone. Thank you ladies.

Saw them on Facebook and bought 2 picnic boxes from Boesti over the Easter weekend- great value at £20 each, one for us and one for my sister. Collected at the door by very helpful & happy staff. Inside each one was 2 egg/bacon pie, 2 homity pie, 2 sausage rolls, coleslaw, potato salad, 2 fruit/cream meringue nests, 2 slices chocolate cake, strawberries, marshmallows & chocolate dipping sauce, wooden knives/forks & napkins. Everything was absolutely fantastic, really tasty and the chocolate cake was exceptional! We ate ours over 2 lunches, my sister fed 3 for lunch with hers & said exactly the same - really enjoyed it all and when can we have another?! Thoroughly recommend their food - haven't actually eaten in the café yet but we will do.....

However, at 3:45pm they started mopping the floors & wiping down all the tables. We ordered another coffee each & then got evil looks & tuts because they obviously wanted to close. The cakes were covered over so we weren’t getting cake as that would have entailed serving us again ! I think I will bypass Boesti in the future.

We then noticed that the woman who took our order was also cooking the food and when the breakfasts came out our sausages and beans were cold, the egg was burnt, how do you burn an egg? and the bacon was very fatty it did not look appealing. However the gluten free section could use a little more imagination, such as g.f. Bread being available to make up sandwiches, thus improving on their profitability. There were some g.f. cakes available but they were rather small, whereas there were beautiful home made cakes made with wheat.

Iv been to Boesti a few times now for food, I don't believe in judging places by first experience as I know cafes/restaurants can get very busy & the standard of food will not be 100% each time. The first time I went to Boesti the wait for my food was terrible & very nearly had to walk out because I get 1 hour for lunch, a customer did point out to me unless you pre order lunch to takeaway or have a salad bowl the wait is a bit long at times. My second visit the food was not great quality tbh & would rather gone Wilko for a sandwich but other times I been recently couldn't really complain. However I will say the lovely young lady with funky green coloured hair defo makes up for the first couple not so great experiences, she was very friendly & id give her 5 out of 5 for her customer service.

Boesti is a 'no frills' coffee shop serving good selection of food and drinks. We had soup, Tomato soup and a Mushroom soup, both came with choice of bap and soft butter. Great flavour. The price and service was good as well.I noticed locals were popping in to order and collect take away lunches while we were there.Overall, well worth a visit, value for money, but as I said, 'no frills'.

Absolutely wonderful visit. The cream tea was the best I think I’ve ever had. Warm scones, huge pot of cream and delicious jam, must be homemade. The tea was piping hot and came with an additional tea bag should you like it strong.

Haven't stayed, but excellent range of well-kept cask ales including normally a couple from Penzance Brewing Co in Crowlas, near Penzance.

What a gem! We had no idea where to go for lunch but chose the shed; a great choice! The steak was so good and the sole cooked to perfection. Great wine, appetisers and dessert to boot. Fantastic value and the service was great Thank you so much.
