Sunday lunch - set menu - everything made from the farm or local area. Fantastic attention to ingredients and balance. Cat handled the fully-booked restaurant with calming smiles and terrific non-alcoholic drinks. Everyone is focused, passionate and knowledgeable about the food and what Crocadon is trying to do. Each course a delight. The sweet - a blackberry concoction - I'd happy eat again and again. Book!

We are very well disposed towards the Crocadon project and the restaurant in particular but we’d also been wanting to use and experience Mamm cafe which operates in the central farm yard and serves from the adjacent buildings including the bakery etc. We were in the area today, but despite having failed to find days and times on the internet, erroneously believed that it was open on a Wednesday. We assumed the worst in the empty car park but I wandered round into the perfect warm outdoor setting of the yard and eventually found an unlocked door into the restaurant where a clutch of chefs were busily involved in varying food prep tasks and I was told that the cafe is open weekly from Thursday until Saturday or Sunday, from I think 10am until 3pm. We will be back within the next few days. I wish there was reference to the cafe on the signs back up at the turning from the A388 into the lane and some detail somewhere on line and some form of of telephone contact.

Absolutely incredible stuff...warm and friendly atmosphere in a typical countryside pub.. beautiful food on a Sunday with a lush Roast dinner to tick all the boxes...true quality ingredients really thousands times better than your back street carvery locations...one of them locations to sit back and unwind and enjoy the ambience...

Easy parking and magnificent views of south-east Cornwall and the Tamar Valley complement this bright, airy venue. Breakfasts are named after the old mine workings that are dotted around this part of Cornwall. The Skita is ample for me and is always well-cooked. Staff are friendly and helpful, but special appreciation and best wishes must go to Amy.

Went for a Sunday roast here yesterday, surprised to see no other diners present when this place used to be packed on a Sunday. It soon become evident as to why. Bar staff lovely and friendly as was the young lady taking our order. We all ordered a roast, very very disappointed, one of our friends couldn’t eat hers she did try bless her. It seemed like the meal had been microwaved as the food was hot in some places and cold in others, the yorkie looked sodden so definitely microwaved. I did eat mine as I was hungry. I did leave the beef as it was tough, the pork tasted weird like it had been cooked, sliced, frozen and reheated as it tasted tangy. The potatoes were ok as were the carrots, the swede, cabbage and meat was cold. We did order pudding of apple crumble only to be disappointed again. A young lady came down and said they had no crumble but would we like flapjacks instead. I’m so sorry as this pub used to be very busy on a Sunday but alas no longer. Won’t be going again needless to say. But the staff were friendly and hard working.
