It's a lovely farm cafe with exceptional quiches and pastries full of flavour. There is not much room inside as there are only about 5 tables, one of which is quite large, but there is plenty of seating outside in the pleasant courtyard. I would recommend it to anyone who asked.

The front of house are amazing and very attentive but the food was average at best. The toast on the stew came out burnt which to be fair should never of left the kitchen like that. However they were quick to rectify and order a replacement. Drink prices reasonable for the area and the setting is lovely.

Had a lunch here today but cold chips came out with my wife's burger. They were replaced promptly. Then a bit of a shock when the bill came out. I'd ordered a breakfast , requested to the young lady " no mushrooms " and was offered an extra hash brown instead of the mushrooms. The bill at the end was more than we thought , so we queried it with the same young girl who kept saying we'd had what we had asked for. It turns out that the hash brown was in fact an extra £1.65 and when ordering a " Latte " they automatically give you a large size cup, it's up to you to ask for a small one. It took ages to get £1.65 refund for the hash brown and took 3 different people to action a refund whilst the young girl just kept on saying throughout we'd had the coffee over and over again and that it wasn't her fault. So, be warned check your bill, be clear if you want a small coffee, otherwise you'll be given a large without being asked. And if you don't want an item on the breakfast menu be wary that it's replacement may be charged extra. £1.65 for 1 hash brown seems a lot to me.

Oh my goodness I wish I hadn’t bothered! We ordered a roast which didn’t take long to be served. We were both super hungry so were looking forward to our meal It was evident that everything had been reheated. The meat was tough and dry and the veg was soggy The staff didn’t have time to check on us as they were too busy messing around behind the bar We eventually left with the plates still on the table Extremely poor customer service. No one cared!

This is one of our favourite places to pop in for coffee, brunch or lunch when we are staying in the area. The staff are always so friendly and food different and delicious. Everything is local if not grown on the farm. The restaurant is too expensive for us so this is a great way to taste fab food at a reasonable price. The fire is always blazing in the cooler months.
