The best restaurants in Gwinear-Gwithian and St Erth Cornwall, Isles of Scilly South West

Very good breakfast as we specifically chose to sample thier shakshuka! It was great and good selection of teas. Staff were friendly and it's dog friendly too. Would definitely return.

Arrived in the cafe of this lovely station at 7.45am on a Friday morning prior to our journey home to Newcastle at 8.48am. The cafe too was lovely with empty tables so my daughter and I went in to have tea. We'd left St Ives at 7am in a storm and were tired and cold. The lady in the cafe said we'd have to take our tea into the waiting room, nobody is allowed to sit in cafe now as it gets crowded with people and luggage - these were no other people at all. So we had to sit in the cold waiting room prior to our 10 hour journey north where a hopefully warmer welcome awaited us. Empty cafe? Not allowed to sit inside?? Dark ages? Cornish hospitality????

This looked lovely. It's a really nice spot. We were looking forward to a couple of nice cold beers. Unfortunately after trying to find someone to serve us we gave up after 10 minutes and had a drink back at our caravan. Disappointed 😞.

Came across Rockout with my daughter on the way to do a bit of rockpooling on the beach. We both had the chilli and chips which were absolutely delicious. Very reasonably priced compared to most other beachside locations, and run by a lovely lady who was extremely accommodating. It's a sweet little spot next to the comings and goings of the surf centre. Highly recommend...

Delicious coffee in a beautiful location. Dogs very welcome! With an on-site natural pet shop and a large car park.

Oh the hot chocolates are lethal!! Fantastic coffees, cakes and food. Ideally situated on one of the best beaches around.

Lovely little find! Great setting and delicious food - we had the cauliflower curry and beef chilli to takeaway and we were so impressed with both. Super friendly service too, highly recommend!

I called in for a pint or two, July 2018. Only one real ale available, the cardboard label said it was Doombar. Firstly it smelled rank, secondly, you couldn't see through it, thirdly, it tasted awful. There was no point giving it back as they obviously don't know how to keep real ale and there was no other option anyway. Looking around, I certainly wouldn't eat there.

Food was awful, atmosphere was awful and they say it's dog friendly when their dogs kept attacking mine. The place was dirty and had a weird smell.

Visited today with my Mum & sister, we were very impressed, lovely atmosphere, good service, great food. Expect we will be back again.

I have been here before and service wasn't brilliant but very pleased this time and nice place to eat or drink upstairs

Mother and I called in this afternoon for a cuppa and delicious muffin before a walk on the dunes. Such friendly service and a great view! Reasonable prices and great quality cakes and coffee! Highly recommend!

Excellent food and the service from Ruth Jay and Kia was amazing, nothing was too much trouble. Had a lovely lunch celebrating Grandma's 93rd Birthday today. Thank you all.

In the throes of Storm Darragh, this wonderful little Cafe proved a warm haven from the gale force winds. Great bacon roll and a tiffin that my fiancée assures me was fantastic this coupled with friendly and chatty hostesses made it an experience to repeat.

Dog friendly! Amazing little place, I could spend hours sitting here watching the world go by. Highly recommend the cream tea. Best scones in Cornwall.
