Chomp in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

This looked lovely. It's a really nice spot. We were looking forward to a couple of nice cold beers. Unfortunately after trying to find someone to serve us we gave up after 10 minutes and had a drink back at our caravan. Disappointed 😞.

Family orientated outdoor bar serving some very nice local beer, cider and lager this is a must for anyone who likes to relax for an hour 2 with the fam. They’ve got plenty of seats outdoors, in small chalets and they have a games area. If it turns cold you can dive into one of the boxes and grab a blanket. This place is a real haven away from the busy beach just 5 minutes away.

Lovely staff and quality food and drink to eat in or to go. Venue is beautiful too, with plenty of outdoor space, set back not far from the coast edge.

We were staying at Three Mile Beach and decided to visit Chomp which is onsite as it was dog friendly. It is tapas style food where they recommend you order a couple of plates per person. We picked a selection of chicken, fries and squid and it was delicious, we were really impressed We also had ice cream for dessert. They have some really fun drinks on the menu and non-alcoholic cocktails. Lots of lovely benches to sit on if the weather is nice, and.a couple of covers spots if it isn’t. Quite pricey at just over £70 for 2 people for what it was, and that price didn’t include the drinks, but I think we would visit again if in the area.

Fabulous little eatery, food was really nice, friendly staff. Dog friendly, little huts and a yurt if it’s a bit chilli. They have blankets if it gets too cold. Nice and clean bathroom facilities. Worth a visit.

Stunning food and brilliant, friendly service, in a chilled environment. We're just back from a wonderful experience at Chomp, we (and our labrador Alfie) were well looked after throughout. We couldn't fault a thing. Tasty beer and cider followed by beautiful food. Particular favourites were the mackerel, asparagus, pork belly and burrata. We would unhesitatingly recommend to anyone visiting Gwithian!

Great setting just off the beach. Great vibe with live music. Dog friendly. We had all the fish options and they were all amazing.

We had Vietnamese wings they were the nicest wings we’ve had. The hot dog was mega was the best hot dog in Cornwall had all the trimmings. The dirty fries were amazing but by this stage I was stuffed so took a take out container. Was a lovely atmosphere really friendly staff and an overall family treat and nice experience

OMG what a treat, good vibes, near the beach, fresh vibrant food and drinks. Small and busy but well organised rest stop for family food and drink or a place for cocktails and a boozy afternoon. Beach is also so good. The icing in the cake for me as a foodie was the Buddha bowl and hot dog!

Loved it. but cash is legal tender and i do not go back if places do not accept it. Chicken Gyros were really tasty and well-presented and the whole area is well-presented and thought out.

Lovely food well presented, cocktails were amazing. Highly recommend this place to people visiting the area not just staying on site.

Quirky street food alfresco restaurant with beach huts to dine in. Found this by accident whilst walking from our campsite. Not obvious but behind the surf school. Decent beer and wine & lovely food which changes during the week with different chefs taking over the food van . Really enjoyed the chicken gyros. Situated in an expensive holiday park and prices reflect this. Food served in a trendy way in enamel dishes. Could have done without the paper it was on which goes soggy and is unnecessary in my opinion as would be difficult to eat with your hands. Nicely cooked chicken had a delicious smoky flavour and pickles were great. Enjoyed our food.

Wow, just wow! We'd popped up earlier in the week after seeing the advertising boards at the top of the carpark, just for a drink and a nosy on that occasion and were so impressed we decided that we would come back on Saturday evening for some food and more drinks. This was the last night of our 2 week stay and absolutley finished our holiday on a high! The perfect conclusion. Just imagine, attentive nothing too much trouble staff, sitting out on a lovely evening, a local 4 piece band playing cool tunes and absolutley delicious food and drink and you get the picture. This is an amazing addition to Gwithian - thank you for the perfect end to a great holiday.

Popped in on the off chance when we first arrived in Gwithian. Very friendly staff, lovely food and nice atmosphere. Dog friendly.

Had calamari, muscles, halloumi and the bread to share between myself and friends, the food was so tasty, and was presented in an eco friendly way! The atmosphere was great and I just loved everything about our evening at chomp!

Lovely selection of street food, from light bites to a meal. We got a few light bites to share all of which were lovely. It’s a lovely addition to the area and something a bit different for a food option.

OMG amazing street food, so many flavours. Falafel dish was superb, created by chef Olly. Atmosphere was just fantastic, creative surroundings and clean facilities. The cocktails were of a good measure, and severed by such friendly and welcoming people.

We all loved this place, just gutted to have only found it on the last day of our holiday. Loved the little beach huts to eat in, and food was really good … and very dog friendly.
