Actually ordered a take away which was delivered got to say it was perfect in every way and really good size portions I rang the restaurant to tell them how pleased I was with the meal as I believe in giving praise where it’s due could not fault it

Very tasty chippie, freshly cooked and a good portion of fish as well as chips. Very friendly staff and food still hot and fresh when we got back to our digs.

As a White British person, curries are my go to for food. Wow, the food tonight was fantastic. The flavour in the chilli mushroom was beautiful. Could have had more cucumber and tomatoes to help complement. Main course they made for me, a Naga Saag. Again not disappointed. The flavour was out of this world. Hot, but that’s what I wanted. Service was excellent too. Please note that this is an unlicensed restaurant so bring your own alcohol. Definitely will visit again when I am here next

Always friendly good quality fish chips. Look at there on line list as they cook fry other things.

No longer exists, closed permanently some time ago.it has been replaced by another cafe.,at least the building has been repurposed and not left empty like so many others in the town.

Don’t wish your money more potato than meat got my mother, a giant pasty for Mother’s Day cost. A lot of money rang up to complain and very very rude person on the end of the phone said we should have taken photographs there was way way more potato in the past season of meat would never buy them again don’t waste your money.

We love Scallywags and we have been quite a few times. Today we tried the Sunday roast 😋 it was delicious, my hubby and I had the sharing platter, consisting of chicken, pork and beef. Yorkshire puddings roast potatoes carrot and swede mash, peas, broccoli. Green beans and cabbage as well as lashings of gravy. It was yummy. 5 star 🌟 service a lovely friendly and welcoming atmosphere.Very reasonably priced. Can highly recommend.
