A hidden gem. Don't be fooled by the location. We had to double back on our journey from Hayle back to Torpoint, and it was a revelation. Although we only had an early evening pitstop of mixed starters a salad and stir fry. It was all really fresh and tasty. Washed down of course with Singha... Found this place on Tripadvisor and were not disappointed at all. Not many tables so booking is advisable. The food was lovely and not too expensive. Will defo go back on our next visit to Cornwall.

The man who greeted us was nice and friendly but food was average. He also advised us of local knowledge which was very nice of him.

We haven’t eaten Thai before, everything was delicious. From start to finish, I couldn’t fault anything. My partner enjoyed his meats and I loved the tasty vegetarian options. Wow superb Thai food! So happy to have found Thai in Town, it’s really the very best Thai we’ve had for years and years. No corners cut here with serious care taken to make and serve delicious food. We were looking for Indian restaurant for dinner and found this place by accident and so glad we did. The food was very delicious and authentic and very reasonably priced. Lovely staff. Definitely the best Thai food we had so far. Would definitely return if we live locally. Highly recommended.

I can’t believe with family living in Camborne that I haven’t been here before. It’s great! The restaurant is tiny but the atmosphere, service and food are really good. I’ve just seen another review that said it was more like a cafe than a restaurant - I disagree. Some of the best restaurants I’ve been to over the years weren’t necessarily the most fancy - this is not but it isn’t that kind of place. This is like going into a family business where they make you so welcome and serve you food made from the heart. I recommend.

Saw this highly very rated on on Tripadvisor and though we'd try it. Not sure why this is the so highly rated. It's OK and average. Not bad and not brilliant. Maybe it's the only Thai Restaurant (it's more Cafe style than Restaurant) around.

The food is amazing. Green curry, massaman curry and Pad Krapow with Thai sticky rice. One of the best Thai restaurants we have eaten in. Highly recommended

We were lucky enough to book a table for 4 at this restaurant, food was perfect traditional Thai food, cooked by Thai staff , tables are spaced out to give a good sense and feeling of not being to close. We travelled an hour to have this meal and honestly can say it's well worth it, for a family of five the total costs including drinks was well within our budget, I would recommend that if you wanted a great meal, book this restaurant, or even for a takeaway then give them a call, you won't be disappointed...then as I have, post a good review....thanks for a great meal🍜

Having eaten here once before and really enjoying the experience my wife and myself visited for a second time this week and once again the food and service was second to none. All freshly cooked to perfection with plenty of great choices on the menu we really can't fault it. We shared a starter which was far larger than we were expecting, then a main course each followed by the two of us sharing pineapple fritters with ice cream which was a lovely ending to our evening meal. We'll be back next time we're in the area..

Went on a Saturday close to Xmas with a group of friends booked in advance and was asked to drop in a pre order which was perfect. This was my first time in Camborne and so I took to tripadvisor to help with restaurant recommendations. Well this little Thai did not disappoint. Nothing special from the outside, in fact it looks more like a takeaway than a restaurant but once inside, the service was good and the food was lovely. I would come here again and again if I lived locally.

This restaurant was recommend to me by a friend so I thought we should try it out. The food was amazing every dish was delicious. The staff were very helpful and helped with menu choices. The restaurant was clean and not overcrowded and you were not rushed in any way. Living in camborne this will now be our go to place.

We visited here having looked at Trip Advisor and would agree with the majority of the reviews. The restaurant doesn’t look anything special from the outside and yes, the internal decor could do with a revamp but it’s clean, and does that matter if you’re there for the food? We were really pleased with the dishes we ordered and all the staff were friendly, professional and helpful. If we are ever in the area again, we will return.

Fairly disappointed with the meal we had from here. Had Veg massaman and the only Veg was onion, carrot and potato. Would have liked to have seen some pepper, cauliflower, green beans etc.

Last minute great choice. Tempura prawns and tempura vegetables starters were lovely, hot and straight from the fryer. Pad Thai mains were great too. Good portion sizes. Reasonable prices overall including for glasses of wine. Service was a little slow due to staff shortage that night but it didn’t spoil the evening.

Was staying in Camborne this week so decided to hunt out this place being a huge fan of Thai Food. Doesn’t look much from the outside but a smart little restaurant when you enter. The owner was friendly enough and the service was good. Food very tasty, good portions and very reasonably priced. Pretty busy for a Tuesday night which shows they are doing things right. Highly recommend the Pork Pad Ka Prow.

Went to this restaurant on our last night staying in Cornwall. We were a party of 7 with a child with dairy allergies. When we got inside the restaurant we were seated immediately. However we were the only people in the restaurant and to be honest if John (the manager) had not seated us so quickly I think I would have suggested to our group simply because I dont like eating in a restaurant where there are now other customers.

We’ve recently moved into the area, and are still busy unboxing so went out for a takeaway. Hadn’t realised initially that Thai in Town was a restaurant as well so took the opportunity to avoid having to do the washing up (assuming we could have found the plates!) and sat in to eat. “Mum” served us with the happiest of smiles and all the staff were polite and friendly.

My partner and I have eaten at this modest, family-run restaurant many times and we've never been disappointed. The menu is plentiful, including for me having coeliac disease (gluten free). The food tastes fresh and delicious and the owner and staff are friendly and welcoming. There is plenty of free on-street parking nearby. And all for a very reasonable price.
