Called in on the spur of the moment with family and had a lovely lunch, we had a ploughman's, beef stew, chicken stripes chips, peas and gravy and cheese and bacon quiche and chips plus tea and soft drinks. Lovely staff, very nice food. Can highly recommend. Thank you. 😊

Looked clean, large menu, good coffee - that's the only good things. The staff looked as though they all wanted to be somewhere else, and everything was an effort. The bacon was far too salty, the beans were certainly not Heinz, the toast had only been shown the toaster, and the butter - it looked and tasted like bright yellow water. The dog (which I presumed was the owners) was allowed to wander around everywhere, which was fine by us, but not so good for either hygiene, or people who don't like dogs.

Popped in with some friends recently for breakfast and a chat. Scallywags is an honest to goodness traditional café and coffee shop. The food is always fresh and tasty and served with a smile. The menu has plenty of choice to suit all tastes and the prices are excellent. Scallywags is our 'go to' café in Camborne for breakfast or just tea and cake Highly recommend

Lovely, friendly place with lots of home-made specials. Big portion sizes so great value. Spotlessly clean and a pleasant place to visit. Coffee is good too.

It isn’t closed :) Just had a lovely Cornish cream tea and a proper pot of good tea with hot water to top up. The people around we’re being served delicious looking cafe food. Quick service. Would definitely come again to eat sometime

We sat next to the window overlooking the estuary. We had 2 breakfasts, cooked to order, 2 sausages, 2 bacon, hash browns, beans, fresh tomatoes and mushrooms, with 2 rounds of toast. All cooked to order. Tea and coffee, £10 each. Great service, very clean and Covid safe. Recommended, we will return.

Nipped in for a quick bite to eat. The waitress was lovely but not a huge food selection and to be honest was quite expensive for what it was!

Cheap, cheerful and good food. We called here for a quick snack whilst on a day visit. The service was the friendliest we have ever encountered. The food was very good and the pot of tea for two was the most generous ever seen, it would have been sufficient for ten at least. Definitely recommended for a quick well cooked meal

Popped in here the other day for a quick Coffee and decided to try the Veggy Breakfast ( £4.95). The cafe is right on the Main road through town and affords a good view of all the people going about their business. The seating is basic but acceptable and the staff are friendly. Breakfast arrived in a short time and I thoroughly enjoyed it, as did my wife who had the breakfast styled on the Slimming World food.

Absolutely wonderful visit. The cream tea was the best I think I’ve ever had. Warm scones, huge pot of cream and delicious jam, must be homemade. The tea was piping hot and came with an additional tea bag should you like it strong.

Great little cafe (presumably a Longstore offshoot, as it’s attached). A small number of tables inside and more outside. Nice seaside blue and white vibe. We had tea, cappuccino and two sourdough toasties with roasted mushrooms, tomatoes, Emmental cheese and truffle mayo - with a refreshing but hot chilli and carrot salad in the side. £13 per head paid for very good quality. Food and drink was great and service fast and friendly. Other customers had young children and dog with them. Would recommend for sure.
