Just had drinks here nice bar/restaurant with great views of Falmouth harbour. Very friendly staff. Would recommend.

This was a very high quality fish dinner: beautiful squid, scallops, fish and chips and hake. The service was excellent and friendly.

Just stopped for coffee. Friendly fast service and delicious coffee!! Inexpensive too! People around us were eating and it looked amazing and we heard good reports.

Friendly service combined with local ingredients makes for an outstanding breakfast experience. This must be the greatest breakfast I have ever had.

The Harbour View is in a good location with great views of the sea. We ordered a delicious bottle of Malbec and a couple of starters, my wife had the Calamari which she thoroughly enjoyed and I had the Scallops. Although the Scallops were tiny and expensive, the course was delicious and the addition of pan fried Capers brought an enjoyable texture to the dish.Just a shame it was served on a very chipped plate-lack of attention to detail. My wife loved her Linguini and Crayfish main course, creamy with a slight heat. Sadly my Risotto was incredibly bland, the menu description of having seasonal vegetables was misleading as it only contained green beans, furthermore was over flavoured with Pesto, not enjoyable at all. Have had much nicer home cooked Risottos than this poor attempt. They really need to rethink this dish. Staff were friendly enough.

We picked Harbour View simply because it was one of the few restaurants in Falmouth open on a Monday evening. But the food was so good that we were glad we had, and we'd gladly eat there any day of the week. We shared a selection of ‘small plates’, which provided an interesting range of food. Our server was friendly and helpful. If we visit Falmouth again, we'd be keen to go back.

It was early morning Sunday and no surprise was fairly quiet but suited me. Nice view of parts of the harbour but that's not why I am here. The Cornish breakfast I had was so well presented and superbly cooked I had to give these guys a big thumbs up. The young lady serving was delightful and very helpful. Altogether a very nice experience, keep it up and you will do well I am sure.🥰

really friendly on the main walk through town. Chef and staff are great. The young chef has an absolute passion for his food. The presentation and flavours are out of this world the service was attentive but not in your face. We've never been disappointed eating here and will 100% recommend this to everyone.

Great view and friendly welcome ome from I assume was the owner or manager. Only had a sandwich but was nice and there was a good choice. Only down side was that it was on sourdough and no alternative, and I'm not that keen on sourdough.

Falmouth was very quiet on Tuesday, so finding a nice place for lunch was easier. Harbour View is normally packed so we never normally get into it. What a surprise..... Great food and service.

Called in to this popular cafe/restaurant on a cold and windy day whilst shopping in Falmouth...but the welcome was far from cold and windy! The staff are very attentive and helpful with the menu . Really delicious and interesting food- full of flavour and a tasty Malbec wine to accompany it. It was busy and had a great atmosphere Dogs on leads welcome both inside and on the outside seating area. It's a must !

Visit whenever we can. Food and service always top notch. Love it.

Good lunch been a couple of times

went in for lunch today, two course menu, Pete (husband) had soup, surprised me!! he very rarely eats soup. The two ladies that served us were lovely, food great and we will certainly be going back soon (only live 14 miles away)

My buddy Terry and I get together for breakfast every few weeks, and today was Harbour View. A lovely friendly greeting, lovely surroundings, great views and very calm and peaceful ambience, not at all "hard surface clattery" We both had the awesome vegan full English (mine GF.) Cooked to perfection, quality ingredients and really good GF toast (it can be ghastly, this was great.) Really good coffee too! Thanks all!

Looking for a nice lunch with the wife, the lunch menu sold it to us. Limited choices yes, but great value with 2 courses for £17.00. Excellent service, I had scallops followed by slow cooked beef cheeks whilst the wife had potted duck then the duck breast. Yes we paid a little extra for a couple of dishes but still excellent value. Will definitely return on our next visit

We always pop in here for our lunch when we come to Falmouth. Limited but interesting menus. Excellent service and food arrived in a timely fashion. Only minus focus is that our sourdough sandwiches were spoilt by using margarine rather than butter. If it was butter it tasted like margarine. We will be back but I’m gonna check and if no butter, I’ll see if they can use Mayo instead. Nearly £5 stars which is normally our experience.

My son and I have decided this is our place to have Lunch when I come to visit him at Uni. Food is amazing, great prices, lovely staff (especially Christian). I would definitely recommend

Eaten here before and this visit did not disappoint. Excellent service and very good food. Good wine selection. Chef was happy to change my potato order as I can't eat dairy. Only slight problem was that we were right next to another occupied table (people the were very friendly) when mpst of the restaurant was not occupied.

An amazing experience from start to finish, warm welcome instantly told what was missing asked for allergies, tea and coffees came very fast amazing scones and clotted cream and jam, and the butternut squash soup was to die for!... can see in the kitchen chefs look smart and you can tell the team enjoyed working here fantastic atmosphere thankyou so much for a fantastic experience :)

On a wet stormy Friday lunchtime we took shelter here and this turned out to be a good choice We had our dog Mutley with us but this resturant was dog friendly and we were all welcomed in with a smile. This set the tone for the exceptional service/hospitality throughout our lunch stop👍 There was a large group in so we were not expecting nor wanted (because of the weather) fast service but when we said this they appreciated it but said they would get our food out easily but we're welcome to dawdle - great service and nice to know they were not trying to push people through so you could enjoy your lunch time treats! It's located on the front with a veranda an indoor area all with some good views onto the harbour or into the street. It's a modern minimalist warm setting and smart decor Drinks and menus were quickly organised but we were not rushed at all which meant we could shelter longer with drinks!!🥂🍾 We had a glass of sauvignon each which was delicious ( I had a thirsty Peroni beer first!!🍻) As it was the Oyster Festival they had a couple of fish specials on in particular some tempura oysters with a seaweed butter - sounding yummy) and a nice concise one page daytime menu with some lovely fish options noted for another visit!! In the end I went for the m mussels in a white wine sauce with leeks and some really good sourdough. It was delicious and a good lunchtime size. Attention to detail noted as it came with a finger bowl and a bowl for the shells My wife had a fish finger sandwich with clearly home made fish gujouns which she said were really good So all in all a great venue in a good location, excellent friendly service and to top it all a fabulously tasty lunch - highly recommended and we will be back

Shown to a table and greeted by a nice young man on arrival. Sat inside and had a nice view of the harbour. We choose beer battered fish and chips. Tasty but could have been better. Way too many chips. Very small fish. I should have read the menu as it would have been nice to have some salad or peas on the plate .

Worst english breakfast we have had in ages. Bad product. This place could be great but it is really bad food for a expensive price. We will not be back.

Had a couple of cream teas they were lovely.

We just wanted a light snack. Husband had the cream tea which he described as average, nice jam. I had the shrimp sourdough sandwiches. Shrimps very small, like a bag of Iceland shrimps small. No seasoning, no taste to the sauce. Nice location - but no taste to bland food. Would have been good to see proper prawns with a seasoned seafood sauce.

We stoped for a birthday lunch, .u partners and a treat from me. The seating are was lovely and sunny but the menu wasn’t very big. He couldn’t find anything he looked the look off and we weren’t going to pay £17 for fish and chips. I chose the chicken skewers and the portion was not very good. I also had a medium glass of wine. He ended up just having olives and bread with a sparkling water as we had walked around and around and he was just hungry. The little bit of food we ordered took ages to arrive to the table and it wasn’t that busy. Ended up getting a fajita down a side street later eaten by the water. More filling and much much cheaper £7.

Seen this restaurant a couple ot times & tried it out whilst on holiday. Very busy, but not such a long time to wait for food. Sat out on the terrace witha view over the harbour & the food was excellent.

Visited the Harbour View in Falmouth during a stopover on our Sailing Expedition. From start to finish it was just a super pleasant experience. We booked fairly last minute, and with a group of us it can sometimes be tricky but they accommodated us with no issues. The table was pleasant, and the food was INCREDIBLE; up there with possibly the best of Fish & Chips I’ve had…. If not the number one! Not if but when I revisit Falmouth, I will be sure to dine here again. Thanks!

We had just the nicest evening at Harbour View, the staff were so courteous, friendly and helpful, they also served the most amazing, Mussels I have ever had!! They were in a coconut, chilli & spring onion sauce. Honestly, the best ever!

If your passing this restaurant is worth a visit. Lovely atmosphere and view across the harbour. Service was excellent and food arrived quickly. Mains and puddings were excellent and drinks enjoyable would definitely visit again.

A lovely experience from start to finish. We were a large party (9 people) but the staff made every effort to accommodate us by moving tables around. The menu has a good selection and options suitable for children. The food came quickly and was extremely tasty. There was a mix up with one aspect of our order which may very well have been due to an ambiguity on our part, but the waitress quickly asked the manager to sort out the problem and the correct order was served. The bill reflected what we ordered and was good value for money. A lovely, modern restaurant in the heart of Falmouth - highly recommended!

Absolutely delicious lunch, friendly staff and amazing views across the harbour too. If you like seafood, you definitely need to eat here. The mackerel, scallops, fish goujons and prawn loaded chips were all amazing!! I could eat them all again!

Scallops were very tasty, greens a little bland but we all enjoyed a family meal. Would recommend for lunch rather than an evening meal. Do not recommend the cocktails.

We visited for lunch on a busy Saturday. I ordered battered fish and chips with a pot of curry sauce (£17) and my wife ordered the smoked tofu Vietnamese style salad. The fish and chips was okay, nothing special, and the portion was just about adequate. The smoked tofu Vietnamese salad (£9) on the other hand was nothing short of a rip-off. It could not be described as anything other than a garnish for a main meal, with just a few mint leaves and cucumber sliced into batons with a few sesame seeds and six small cubes of tofu, and at £9 was a disgrace. My wife complained and was fobbed off with "well everything is more expensive now". Don't eat here, they know virtually all of their foot fall is one time day trippers who won't be back anyway, so may as well rip them off. Terrible and awful in equal measure.

Well quite frankly this has to be one of the worst and most expensive places in Cornwall I live in Cornwall and I know when it’s holiday season the price of everything goes up but I was offered a sausage sandwich today on what was supposed to brown bread but I think it was, well disgusting is the only way to comment on it and when I told the young inexperienced person serving us she actually asked if I were joking and then asked if I wanted the price of the bread deducted from bill. Anyway £6.95 for a small sandwich with 2 sausages in is just taking liberties I didn’t asked what discount I was going to be offered for 2 slices of stale bread. Then on clearing tables food and cutlery was dropped all over my wife. So I will not be going back was not even offered an apology. Disappointed.

Dreadful service, waited over an hour for our food to arrive. It was fine but not worth the wait. We'd booked, and it wasn't full. Dishes are mainly small, so sides need to be added. Very few vegetable sides.

Overpriced, dry, tasteless food. The menu is exactly as specifies, chicken was dry, hair in chips. Staff are non attendant and actually quite rude. Avoid, so many nicer places to eat. Really disappointed with this places lack of enthusiasm, quality of food, and robotically rude and soulless staff.

First and main issue is that I was over charged! Bought a milkshake (£3.50) that tasted like it contained more water than milk, and some chips (£4.50) that had somehow morphed into a leathery pile of sadness. And then I was charged £10.10! Not very fun. Similarly my pals and I could hear the chefs talking about how the food was gross?? And the server spilt tea over our table, didn't clear it up :( Not the best experience I've ever had

Excellent service, friendly staff, lovely food.

Grilled mackerel came with apple gel and a slaw. Chips were crisp on the outside and fluffy inside. You can eat more cheaply locally, but it’s worth coming here.

If you want to have beautiful and amazing day definitely Falmouth is the best place. The harbour in the summer is busy and plenty of boats trips. Plenty of restaurants and you definitely have many options as well. If you go there definitely you have to try there local ice-cream.

What a great experience we had arriving here on a rainy day with a 1 year old grandson. The reception couldn’t have been warmer as our pushchair was lifted up the steps for us and a high chair secured near the ‘play corner’. We had a really enjoyable meal in lovely open surroundings with a fab view of the harbour- yes, even on a grey day !! The pushchair was automatically carried to street level for us as we left too.
